i know a lot of people like the side-view system, but im making a game for someone, and they requested the battlesystem be like rm2k (front-view). is there anyone who can help me with this?

ah well, i guess i just dig an older computer out of the garage, set it up with winxp, firefox, and all the rpg makers; but then use my other computer for everything else.

hey, im considering formatting my hard drive and installing ubuntu. however, i love the rpg maker series (its the only reason i still havent made the jump to ubuntu) and ive been wondering if theres a linux edition of any of the rpg makers? or can you possibly run it under WINE? thanks for the help!

ahh, ow well. i was looking into designing an mmorpg, and i first thought of rm2k. then i remembered that it was only for rpgs, not mmorpgs. so i went for nrm2k but its resources were horrible. any suggestions for a program i could use to make a simple mmorpg? preferably a graphically based one, like rpg maker?

i remember that game! i use to have a copy of it, but i recently did a hard drive format, so i don't anymore.
i would recommend going through the old message boards, like don miguels (only i think that he merged with stifu awhile back)
