You deffinitely didn't give this a fair review. Your review is full of biased opinions, and doesn't take into account any of the things that makes this game amazing. |

Yay! Another Earthbound hack review! You will not believe what trouble I went through to write this review. First, I couldn't think of anything to say, and then I pressed the backspace key, and the page went back, losing all 250 words I had written. I was mad, but not mad enough to not make a review for this. But enough about my screw ups, lets get to it. Hyperbound, an Earthbound Hack where you try to find out who you are. Graphics: 8 The graphics aren't changed all that much, but the map layouts are drastically changed. Intricately designed, they change the game a lot. There are also the garbage blocks, which happen when you pick the wrong way in your brain. Yeah, it's just as weird as it sounds. Sound: ? No reason to address it, due to the fact that it is unchanged. Addictiveness: 9 This game has quite a lot of playtime, despite not being a full game hack. The Game world is huge, with plenty of Npcs to talk to. Story: 10 The story is an interesting one, with plenty of characters, each unique in its own way. In Hyper bound, you play as an unnamed protagonist with amnesia. As you talk to people around you, you find out that you were found washed up at the shore of a beach. The doctor says that there is a specific procedure that can allow you to regain your lost memories. That's where the "going through your brain" mechanic. As you walk through your brain, you will find people you have met that seem to be significant to your lost memory. When you talk to them in the "brain world", they will give you hints on which way you go to unlock your memories. If you go the wrong way, you will be sent back to the doctor. Do this enough times, and parts of the world will be Depth: 8 There is a lot to do in this game, unless you power through your brain. Wow, never thought I would say that. There really isn't a lot to say about the depth, other than the story gives a lot to find in this game. Difficulty: 4 The game isn't really meant to be played as a game, more or less like a story, making it a rather easy game. Overall: 8.5 If you ever have time to play this, do it. It is definitely worth your time. Graphics: 8 The graphics aren't changed all that much, but the map layouts are drastically changed. Intricately designed, they change the game a lot. Thank you for the review, from what I read though, it seems just like the arcade version. Is it? |

New Review time! And this review is on Dead Space, an action horror game for the PC/Xbox360/PS3. This game is downright terrifying, awesome, and just plain great. Note, this game is Rated M. Be advised, this game has a lot of gore, cursing, and may be too awesome for you to handle. Also, your mother disapproves of Dead Space. Graphics: 10 The graphics in this game are Incredible. Just Incredible. The amount of detail that they put into everything you see is just astounding. The enemies are detailed and terrifying, the weapons are amazingly creative, the cut scenes are amazingly animated, and everything about the graphics is amazing. Sound: 9 The sound is one of the biggest things that makes this game downright terrifying. The voice acting is amazing, the voice actors did an amazing job, and I hope they went on to do great things. The sounds the Necromorphs (the enemies that you have to fight) are creepy and well done. The atmosphere the sound creates makes the game 10 times scarier. If you play the game muted, you won't be AS scared. But you will still have pooped yourself. Addictiveness: 8 This game is super addicting, if you can get past the scariness of it. There are 3 (?) modes to choose from, and plenty of things for you to do in this game. Story: 10 The story is possibly the best thing in the game to me. In Dead Space, you play as Isaac Clarke, Engineer for the USG Kellion. You and a group of 4 other people (Johnston, Kendra, Hammond, and Chen) are going to the USG Ishimura to find out why they have lost all communication with it. The USG Ishimura is classified as a Planet Cracker vessel, meaning it is a mining ship, and the last thing they found was an alien artifact that they call the marker. The only other information you have to go on is a video message that you got from your girlfriend, saying she wishes she could talk to you in a distressed voice. I forget what exactly happens to the USG Kellion to cause it to go out of control, but it does. Chen (one of the others on the ship) crash lands it into the docking bay. You get separated from the others, when they get attacked by a terrifying monster called a Necromorph. Johnston gets killed, and you need to find a way to fight these monsters. Crazy cool. Depth: 7 There is a good amount of things to do in this game. Achievements, different weapons to upgrade, DLC (EA!!!), different difficulty levels, and about 9 hours of game play per play through. My favorite thing about the weapons, by the way, is the fact that you fight with mining tools. Some of the different weapons are the Plasma Cutter (the 1st Weapon), The Ripper, The Line gun, The Force Gun, and many others. Difficulty: 7 The game has different difficulty levels. Casual, Survivalist, and Impossible. I may have forgotten one, but oh well. The most difficult thing about this game is making it through the scary parts. Overall: 8.5 If you love horror games, then play this. If you don't like horror games, play this. Graphics: 10 The graphics in this game are Incredible. Just Incredible. Ah, Terraria. Terraria is an action adventure sandbox game and one of my favorite games for the PC. But wait, this isn't the PC version! No, this is the PS3 version. People like to call this 2-D Minecraft, but its not that. There aren't many changes from the PC version to this, but lets take a look, shall we? Graphics: 9 The graphics in this game are well done. The characters are detailed, the items are nice and creative, the monsters are cool, creepy, and sometimes cute. The backgrounds are detailed, almost to the point of looking like you should be able to walk into the background. Pretty cool. Sound: 9 The music in this game is super catchy and fast paced. Its just plain awesome, the perfect music for fighting a giant eyeball, or building a house, or mining deep underground. The sound is great too. The tweets of birds, the groans of zombies, the sound of an explosion, a rushing waterfall, everything is incredibly detailed. Addictiveness: 10 I would have to say that this game is very addicting. I have over 1000 hours clocked in over the course of 4 years. Plenty of things to do will keep you busy for a long while. Story: ? There really isn't much of a story, so there is no rating in this category. Depth: 10 The amount of things to do in this game is IMENSE. There are so many things to do. Fight all the bosses, build a castle, build a huge village, get all the best gear in the game, plenty of things to do. If you ever get tired of single player mode, go online. I don't know what to tell you if you are still bored after that. Difficulty: 7 This game can get pretty difficult if you don't have the right tools. The beginning of the game can get super difficult too. Overall: 9 This game is incredible. The amount of work put into it is phenomenal. Sorry this review wasn't as long as the others, but there is a long review coming up soon. Graphics: 9 The graphics in this game are well done. Ah, Earthbound. One of my favorite games of all time. Its the ultimate adventure I have always wanted to go on, running around, beating up space men with a baseball bat, and... wait a minute. Wait a minute, this isn't Earthbound! No sir it is not. This is Jonbound: Dark Future, a hack by Blue Antoid. Lets dive in, shall we? Graphics: 9 The graphics are well done, and I mean both the unchanged and changed. If you want to see an opinion on the unedited graphics, go read ender's review, its pretty good. The edited graphics are good. The main characters are edited well, and story important npcs are edited too. Sound: ? The sound wasn't edited, but oh well. Addictiveness: 10 Just like the original, this game is very fun. I may have beaten this specific hack of Earthbound 5 times. Wow. It may be because of the storyline, or the main character is relate able to me, or something. Story: 10 The story in Jonbound is heavily edited, while still keeping a sense of earthbound. A Tomato (Buzz Buzz) Comes to tell Jon (Ness) That he and 3 other people are the chosen ones. They need to destroy an evil entity called Nemesis (Giygas). The story is interesting and hilarious at parts. I'm not gonna spoil too much about it, but you should play this, or Earthbound. Either one. Or both. Depth: 8 This has just as much depth as Earthbound, with the added effect of trying to find the edited text bits. Trust me, its more interesting than it sounds. Difficulty: 6 There isn't much to say about the difficulty that hasn't been said. Its Earthbound. It's not incredibly hard, but it can get pretty hard. Overall: 8.5 This is definitely one of the best, if not the best, Earthbound hack out there. If you want to put a twist on Earthbound, then try it out. To be honest, I have been here for a few days, but never really announced it. I have been using the RGR too. I'm glad to be back, and I'm glad to have started reviewing games. |

Another day, another review. Toady's review is on a game that you may have heard of. This is Braid, a puzzle / action platformer that has appeared on multiple platformers including PC, Xbox 360, and PS3. I love this game. Braid is a platformer with a unique mechanic. You can turn back time! Lets look deeper into the game itself. Graphics: 10 The graphics in this game are ASTOUNDING. The amount of detail that they put into the scenery, the characters, and the backgrounds are phenomenal. They look like professionally done paintings. The backgrounds even look like they have individual brush strokes. If your eyes aren't pleased, then you must not like works of art. Sound: 10 The sound is just as pleasing to the ears as the visuals are to the eye. The music is soft on the ears and not fast paced like most video game soundtracks, and they're catchy too. The songs are beautifully composed. That's what it sounds like, a composition. This entire game should be hung up in a museum. It's that good, and I am not exaggerating. Okay, maybe a little, but still. Addictiveness 8 When you start this game, you can't stop till you finish it. The game is incredibly fun. Turning back time is so cool, and the other mechanics that they introduce (I'm not gonna spoil them) add a twist on the time turnbacking. Is turnbacking a word? Maybe I'm thinking of reversing. Whichever one it is, its that. Story: 10 The story is told through little books at the beginning of each world. The main character, Tim, made a mistake. A lot of the story takes a lot of piecing together to understand, and I love that in a story. I love when the game makes you think about the story like that. But, if you get every item in the game, you get a special ending, which reveals a lot to the actual story. But, I'm not gonna spoil it, cause that wouldn't be fun at all. Depth: 7 This game has a lot to offer. On top of the normal game play, there is a speed run option, little puzzles that, despite being required to complete the game, I felt the need to mention them. There are also rare collectibles scattered all throughout the game. In certain hard to reach areas, there are little stars that you can grab. What these do, who knows. Well, the creators do, and so do I, and the millions of people who have seen what happens, and the people who have gotten all of them, but you don't. Or do you? I don't know. But, these stars are incredibly hard to get. Either hard or tedious. One star involves waiting for 2 hours for a cloud to move across the screen, and it doesn't move when the game is minimized. That sucks. Do you know how much time I wasted because I had the game minimized? About 3 hours. Difficulty: 8 As I mentioned above, the stars are hard to get, but the main game is not too difficult. It has some hard parts, and the 45 minute speed run of the entire game is incredibly hard. And by speed run, I mean you have 45 minutes to beat the game. Wow. Overall: 9 This game is definitely worth your time, no matter how time consuming it can be. This game is definitely on my must play list. Braid is a platformer with a unique mechanic. Oh, I'm definitely gonna try to make the next one better. But that's for tomorrow. I'm gonna try to make 1 review a day, or at least every 3 days. |

Great review, but one thing I think you messed up on. The story deserves a 10. Such a gripping story. Yeah, this game is pretty terrible. Yeah, this game is pretty terrible. |

I'm gonna say it now, I love writing reviews, and I hope you guys love reading them. Well, lets get to it, Insaniquarium! A game about feeding fish! Yeah, I'm not gonna lie, it sounds boring, but don't leave yet, it is a good game. You feed fish! ... I am really not helping my case here. Well, lets get to it. Graphics: 8 The graphics are great for 2004. Nowadays, they still look pretty good. The backgrounds are very detailed and beautiful, the different fish are nicely designed, and the bosses ( Yes, you read that correctly. ) are creative and nicely done. Sounds: 7 The music is nice and cheery, not to mention catchy. The sound... eh. The sound can get annoying sometimes, like the repeated gun blast sounds... gun blast sounds? Yeah, there are guns in this game. This game is full of surprises. Addictiveness: 8 Now, don't get me wrong feeding fish doesn't sound all that fun, but the game is incredibly addicting. Now, let me explain the basic mechanics of the game. You feed fish, they poop money, (Yeah, I know.) you buy more fish, repeat till you have enough money to buy pieces of the eggs, which unlock pets. Yeah, it sounds weird. But, believe it or not, it gets even weirder. In the next level, you have to protect your fish from aliens coming into your tank through a rip in space time. And no, that wasn't the story. The story, is amazing... Story: 10 Now, to be fair, this shouldn't be here, cause I don't think there is a story. But, I'm gonna make a story for it, ready? Here we go. You come from a long line of fish caretakers / breeders. When your grandfather died, he left his fish tank to you. Thanks granddad. But little did you know, these fish were special. They poop money! But intergalactic space aliens from outer space want the money. You arm yourself with a gun and pets, and you get ready for the best fun ever. Phew. We all need a little time to be silly, right? Depth: 10 This game has a LOT to offer. Fish, different kinds of fish, different bosses, different weapons, pets to unlock, and different modes. The different modes include, Challenge mode, Time Trial, Adventure mode (or campaign mode, if you will), And virtual tank. Adventure mode is your basic campaign, as you go along, you unlock different pets, which do a variety of things, including, but not limited to, Fight aliens with you, give money, feed fish, collect money, and give birth? Yeah, that's a thing. Time trial is trying to make as much money as you can in 5 minutes. Challenge mode, if I remember correctly, is trying to complete a normal level, but the prices on things increase over time. Virtual tank is just that, a virtual tank. You earn shells (the virtual tank currency) through playing Adventure mode, time trial, and challenge mode. You also get shells from your virtual tank fish. You buy Virtual tank fish with shells. And if you want to get some quick shells, here is a tip. Take a normal fish, buy it, and name it Santa. When you do that, you will get a fully grown fish that is white and red, sings Christmas carols, and drops 20 shells. Pretty cool. Difficulty: 7 Like all good games, the difficulty has a learning curve. The farther in you get in to it, it gets harder. But this game gets hard. And I mean HARD. This game will chew you up, spit you out, insult your mother, insult your father, and yeah its actually not that hard. Its very tedious though. It can get hard though. Overall: 8 This game is good. You should definitely try it out. If you hate fish though, whats wrong with you? Man, I feel like this dragged on a little. I hope you guys liked this review, because i sure love writing them.
