I have been playing Wii for about 3years and it is good but the friend codes are the only thing keeping the Wii from great. My guess is that the friend codes are for safety reasons but the xbox360(I don't know about the PS3 and the computer) don't need anything. All you need to do is send a friend request to a person you typed the gamer tag into friend list or add it from recently played list. You don't need a code. The Wii makes it so both of you need the friend code. Ever modern Warfare Reflex did'n use the friend code. So is the friend code a good thing or a bad thing?
