Good job, Geo. Glad to hear that. The first thing I'll tell people when it comes to weight loss is that it all starts in the kitchen. If it weren't for consuming a lot of food in the first place you would not be overweight. You eat for the weight you want. Want more weight? Eat more. And vice versa. Exercise is a big supplement to that. In addition to not consuming a lot of calories, you are also losing calories from your body by exercising in some way.

So, it doesn't matter too much how you go about doing it. Eating less and being active, no matter how long it takes, will cause you to lose weight down to what you seek.

Posting to keep this thread active. I'm hoping keeping this going we will have at least a few people motivated to exercise and keep track of their progress.

A few years ago I came across this video, most likely on Wimp.com. A couple guys edited Toy Story 3 to change the ending and then had one of the guy's mom watch it, who hadn't seen it before her reaction to it and then the truth was humorous, but there were other people who have but didn't know about the prank, which gave them a good laugh. Lo and behold, I'm on Wimp.com today and find the video after all this time at the top of the page. A repost, I'm sure. But here it is.

Had a great time yesterday. Did boat party and then later that night lit off the 7 fireworks cakes I bought. I put on quite the show for everybody.

I recently came across an old picture from years ago in my photobucket account that was in a Vizzed Lodge thread. It consisted of some of us slapping a stick figure or small image into it while semi-interacting with the other edit that were made. Here's the thread I recently made to show it.

I thought it would be a lot of fun to do another one. Save the pic, draw a picture/paste an image or two, re-upload it and post here. After there is enough content to it we can cut it off and slap it up on the Vizzed refrigerator or something. I will put up a new picture after that. Try not to make it too large, and we'll limit it to one edit per member. Save the pic in JPEG as well. It should keep the image clear. I have a hundreds of images (landscapes and other things) to use, but I'll choose the ones that we can interact with the background the most. Here's the first, and I've already drawn on it.

I was browsing my photobucket account to pull an old picture from long ago and use it here in another thread and came across this old gem from probably around 7 or so years ago. I think back when I was in Korea for a year. The story of it is someone started a thread by posting a picture and one at a time members would take the picture and add stuff to it. Eventually this is what was added to it, although I'm not sure why we stopped. It may have been in a fourm limited to staff/elite members. Maybe some of the older veterans here remember this. I did the blue stick figure on the far left.





Would you guys be interested in doing something like this? Get enough people to edit a random pic and maybe it could go up for display somewhere on the site if it turns out great. I'm willing to bet it would go into the Crazy Forum.

Ah yes, some semi-adult jokes in here. I enjoy reading them from time to time, but some people don't fully understand some of the punchlines. That's because dark humor is like food: not everybody gets it.

Honestly, nobody can sit through a long post without skipping through it. Although, typically longer posts mean someone is saying a lot of detailed info. So while long, it is informational. It's unfortunate that most people have shorter attention spans. What I try to is split my posts up into paragraphs to make for reading shorter sections. Another, if you can do it, is to type it out as though you are writing an article or something. Choose word or structures that would make it interesting.

On the other board I go to, when people have a long post or have a link to a long-reading article they always type a short cliff note at the end as a brief explanation to what a post synopsis is. That way if people find it interesting then they'll go back and read the detail.

Something like- Cliffs: People skip through longs posts. Have paragraphs in your posts. Choose words/structure wisely. Put cliffs for long posts.
