I've been getting that problem not only on the first page on searches, but on the first page and random pages after in ANY RGR listing, even just when I enter into the playonlinegames region of the site. I've noticed that more and more recently, so I can't even pull up ANY games, making me regret a lot of times I've given recommendations to this site, if there's been that much server strain. Maybe limit how many are allowed to access the server's search function at a time to reduce the strain? Also, if you go to page two and then back to page one, you're really not changing the information, if anything you're increasing the strain because, depending on how the search function is coded, it may consider it a whole new search? In fact, having checked through repeated searching, both of my own as well as the built in listings, NONE of the games, in ANY page, no matter how far I go, is shown. I've gone up to page 10-15 and still had no games listed, something is seriously wrong here, basically making the entire playing of those games impossible, except those listed in contests.

Both cheese steak and hamburger are definitely up there on the got to eat list, but cheese steak wins. I love both the meat and cheese and the peppers/onions/mushrooms versions, though I've grown used to the ones smothered in onions. A greasy mixture of carmelized onions, sweet steak, and melted swiss just turns my knees to rubber.

I come from the older generations of games, starting with the Atari 2600. I was born in 1981 but was lucky enough to have a mother and sister who both enjoyed that system as well as the later NES. Because of their enjoyment of games I was given the chance to own or play nearly every single Nintendo system except the Virtual Boy, even though my Wii is still dead. I've played Sega systems as well as Sony and Microsoft, and agree with the statement that many current 'hardcore' gamers are soft, even though some of those gamers could likely beat me on their style of game. Give me a good classic 2d or isometric RPG and I'll show those children what real hardcore gaming is though. Play 10 hours without a bathroom break, or a save point, then tell me you're hardcore. The biggest reason I don't do well on those C.O.D. FPS and the like is I'm not given a chance to learn the controls, or any of the basics they've had months if not years perfecting, so of coarse I'm going to get popped in the head when I screw up and come out of a crouch behind cover.

Though I agree that it's usually better to have a controller in your hands instead of having to use motion sensitive devices, especially in small spaces, there will always be one advantage in motion sensitive. Namely it gets all us lazy fat gamers who don't get enough exercise otherwise to actually get off our backsides and to do something. I'm not saying all gamers are overweight, but I know I am, and my Wii made me get up and actually work for something. Plus there were games that did things with motion control that most wouldn't expect to be really exciting until they actually tried it.

I usually prefer PC over Console anymore, but I prefer books over the two. A good book can take you to places that no game can ever, even now.

I know it's a slightly silly custom url, but here's my Steam profile so anyone can add me to Steam. Please let me know where you add me from so I don't automatically ignore it out of habit. http://steamcommunity.com/id/BurningOtter/

I'm running Windows XP sp3, on a Gigabyte MA77OT-UD3P with a 3.2 ghtz AMD Phenom II X4, 4 gigs DDR3 ram. Just recently received a Logitech Wireless Rumblepad 2, when I go to play SNES roms using RGR plugin, the keyboard/gamepad selection for player 1 and 'extra devices' is disabled, while mouse is enabled. I don't know what I did but there has been times when the keyboard/gamepad options stay selected. Usually any time I enable gamepad/keyboard disables it again.

Though I don't always talk as much as most around here, I'm always up for a stimulating conversation when I'm available. The topic can vary as widely as Australopithecus to Xenu, or anything else between. Also have other communication forms available though not all of them are listed on this site.

I'd recommend Linebarrels of Iron, but of coarse I am biased. I've seen the entire 23 episodes so I know how the series is going to end but I still recommend. Any kind of Mecha anime is usually good, though the all the Gundam series are quite hard to follow without a great deal of time.

I am honestly torn when it comes to a favorite. It's a between Final Fantasy 7 and Super Mario RPG - Legend of the Seven Stars. Both are very high quality RPGs for their release in the story department, though there could be a little more pushed from FF7 with PS1/PSX graphics during gameplay. If anything were to sway me at all, that would have to be it, even though some may feel differently. Mini-games are always a plus, and SMRPG-LotSS has that in spades, nearly as difficult as FF7's. Music FF7 would have to be the winner, though characters are much more fitting in SMRPG. Part of me wishes that they never went with the Paper Mario direction and kept the classic isometric 2.5 look during the N64, GameCube AND Wii versions.

Give me the REAL Ansem, aka DiZ, not the 'false' assistant who took his name. Christopher Lee is the only man alive who could ever pull of that kind of flair in the English version.

If they were to do a more mature Mario RPG it could become quite a big seller. Simply placing Mario into an RPG setting can open up so many possible directions that the rating could be anywhere from E to M. I would pay good money, including repairing my Wii, the instant news came out of a mature Mario RPG, or if someone Hacked one together on Homebrew channel.

Hello all fellow gamers who see this post. I've finally taken it upon myself to introduce, well, myself. As I've been enjoying games since first picking up a joystick, I knew this was the place for me. I'm hoping to bring others who don't feel comfortable downloading software, among other sporadic gamers. Having played and enjoyed nearly every system from Atari 2600 to current generation, this helps me find rare gems that aren't available in the USA.
