Different issue this time. The game downloads for a little while, but every time I've tried it at the very bottom it eventually just says "Emulator closed" and the game does not load. |

AVG, while I was installing it, detected a threat. I looked at it and it said that three threats were removed. I installed the most recent edition of the Plugin, I have AVG Anti-Virus Protection - free version -, I have Windows 7, 64-bit edition, and I use Chrome. I finished the installation and attempted to play a game - the Plugin was not recognized as installed. I have removed the Plugin. Can someone please explain why AVG is of the opinion that there are threats within the Plugin? |

yoshirulez! : Yes, I stay on the Internet while playing the game. I use Google Chrome. And yes, I understand that accessing the uploader takes time, but before the lag from it was nearly non-existant, or at the least, marginal. Though that may be because before I mostly used Vizzed to play Pokémon hacks and homebrews. Singelli : No, not yet. Well, first Berzerk simply lagged a lot. After some reloads, trying to see if I could get it to go faster, it didn't even work, only displaying a few random pixels. The other games I've tried on it are California Games and Pokémon Snakewood. Snakewood lags; whereas on the old machine it didn't. Or at least the lag was incremental. Thanks for your suggestions, I'll try them and report back to see if there is any success. Singelli : No, not yet. Well, first Berzerk simply lagged a lot. I have switched to a somewhat different computer, same etc. except video card blah blah, but I've noticed that playing games on the MAME and LYNX emulators result in a lot of lag, audibly if not always visually. Additionally, the MAME game I tried, Berzerk, wasn't even playable. The controls, additionally, don't work with the Lynx emulator with the exception of the arrow keys and ASD (the latter only occasionally). To fix it I uninstalled and then re-installed the RGR Plugin, same with the Runtime thingie, and the issues, at least with the Lynx emulator (I have not tried the MAME emulator) have not been resolved. I should also note that the lag increases exponentially once I start taking screenshots. |

http://pokemonbronze.net/home - I would like you to please add the Pokemon Gold hack called Pokemon Bronze. The official descr "Pokémon Bronze, created to be a regular Pokémon game in Generation II, unlike a majority of ROM hacks, this aims to be your regular Pokémon affair. It has also been created so anyone can play, even if they are fairly new to Pokémon. But don't think that means it won't be fun! If you're like me, and just somehow never got tired of playing Pokémon Gold/Silver, then this hack is definitely for you. With an all new region to explore and trainers to fight. This, is Pokémon Bronze! Welcome to the region of Kohto, situated south-west of Kanto (and connected via underground path) it is lush with varied routes and 10 towns and 8 official Gyms and 1 bonus Gym, which have slightly higher level Pokémon than in Gold/Silver for a little more of a leisurely adventure. Although not entirely accessible, the Kanto region featured in Bronze returns a few areas removed from the region in Pokémon Gold/Silver to re-explore. Set shortly after the events in Pokémon Gold/Silver, you and your rival are living in Cartridge Town of the Kohto region about to start their Pokémon journey. You collect your starter from the resident Professor Koa and get a Pokédex from Professor Oak and begin your quest of defeating the 8 gyms of Kohto and then the Pokémon league. However... with Team Rocket recently disbanded another group is stepping up to the plate to cause trouble! You can download Pokémon Bronze on the Downloads page!" http://pokemonbronze.net/downloads "Pokémon Bronze, created to be a regular Pokémon game in Generation II, unlike a majority of ROM hacks, this aims to be your regular Pokémon affair. zanderlex : Thanks! I worked hard on it. Unfortunately my computer had some issues. I've since discovered that the Vizzed RGR Plugin is working poorly on my different computer, with the fixed video card. So, I'm going to uninstall it and re-install it. An unfortunate side effect of my little computer switcheroo was that I lost my save file. So I'm going to have to restart the game, and take screenshots all over again. Probably one big, long post about my re-done journey through the zombie-infested Hoenn. Here's hoping that the reinstallation works! --Terrace P.S.: I'm actually thinking about that walkthrough idea. I might actually do that. Still, it's a long game and I'd only just reached Mauville City. If I was to do a walkthrough, on the other hand, restarting the game would be very helpful, in fact! So, I guess what I'm trying to say is: I'm thinking about it. --Terrace P.S.: I'm actually thinking about that walkthrough idea. I might actually do that. May I suggest the PokeCommunity thread where Snakewood was born? It may go one for more than 100 pages, and sure you might have to do a LOT of browsing the thread to find the information you need, but you'll probably find it hopefully. |

I'm using the Vizzed Emulator and its screenshot-capturing for my playthrough (photoplay, I call it) of the hack Pokemon Snakewood. So far (as of today, right now) I have posted 3 parts of it. Link is located at my blog, www.terry93d.blogspot.com - I thought you guys might want to know. --Terrace --Terrace |
