Boured : Thanks for your reply! I would agree on your choice of handheld retro system, the GBA took up so much of my time back in the day; I was more prone to the Tony Hawk games. That PS2 sound always causes me to have flashbacks, and good ones at that. I remember at some point the fat consoles had attachable screens and if you had a car-to-plugin adapter of sorts, the PS2 could become a portable system on long roadtrips.

Eniitan : You are not too late! Thank you, I appreciate the warm welcome! I have been spending a lot of time on here rediscovering the games of my youth, and it's been great. Thanks for sharing your favorite retro games and system! I have very faint memories of sonic, I remember really enjoying it when I was really little, and I played it on my uncle's Sega Genesis at my grandparents' house. Street Fighter games in general are also classics.

gamerforlifeforever : Thank you for your response! It's nice to find forums that have active and thoughtful members such as yourself. The N64 is a great choice! I was unable to have my own back when it was a new system, but I know many people who are huge fans, and I had a few chances at playing it with my friends. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time always intrigued me, but I have yet to give it a try. I have many memories of playing the old school SNES Mario games. However I'm very prone to the PSX and Sony consoles in general. I loved playing Spyro games, as well as the first Tony Hawk games (especially the second one). I also used to enjoy any racing games that utilized the steering wheel controllers.

Hello everyone!
I've had an account on here for a while. I am just now making my first forum post. I haven't done forum things in years. I'm Ashley! I am from Vermont. I have these phases where I play retro games because I'm a nostalgia junkie of sorts. I just wanted to drop a line to everyone. Questions for whoever reads this: What is your favorite retro system? Or, what are your favorite games on here that remind you of childhood? I'm glad to be here, and hope to keep revisiting as I've been having a good time as of late!
