Lately I've been getting a lot more into Smash 4 for Wii U, and I've been wanting to find some people to play more competitively with. However, I can't exactly travel across the country to different tournaments, not to mention I'm not nearly good enough to compete in those things anyway. So I was wondering if anyone knew any communities where I can practice/participate in online competitions. Again, I'm sort of a nooby, so preferably some place where new players are welcome.

We've all had those times where all your favorite games have a massive update to install (assuming that you use Steam or something like that) and we have to find a way to pass the time while we wait for the glorious moment when we see "Installation complete".

So I'm here to ask you guys what your favorite way to kill time is while your games are installing, updating, or otherwise un-playable.
