After a lot of  grinding and thinking I think VII and X are very close to each other in terms of play-ability. The rest after, and VIII are, in my opinion not very good at all.

Being a born in the early 80's, probably like most kids growing up in this generation Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (or Hero if you hail from the United Kingdom} was one of, if not the biggest franchise of the twentieth century. Starting off as a comic in the early 80's created by comic artists Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle's was a comic about four Mutant Turtles and their Master, Splinter. It was about 1983-4 when the first comics hit the shelves. They quickly rose to fame and by 1986-7 when Dark Horse produced a number of led figurines I presume for role playing games, that the creators met with Playmates Toys Inc and wanted to produce a range of toys based on the turtles. From that a cartoon was developed to promote the toy line and it is then from what I remember when the Turtles started showing up everywhere and by the early 1990's they were selling out in every toy store over the likes of The Thunder birds and Transformers with the help of the super successful cartoon series which went on through most of my younger years. Being a kid and growing up with the Turtles was an awesome time to be a kid and As I've grown older and I now am wise to the ways of the world and understand how massive things really can get I personally think its one of the greatest franchises in the comic industry. I have many friends who disagree and don't like the turtles and what they've become literally boycotting them due to lots of different reasons from Story line changes, character development, production ethics and.... Michael Bay lol.
Hardcore fans I've spoke to about the way the turtles have developed most say the worst thing about it is how much the story line has changed in the new (ish) comics and films. I'm 34 and when I got into them it was through the cartoon. I was to young to read the original Mirage comic and by the time I was old enough Kevin had left, the first arc was over and I think Image had taken over and it wasn't very good at all. The first three films had been released which I loved, the first still in my top ten films, but it was going downhill rapidly and I slowly stopped being interested in anything turtle related bar the old school toys as I had began collecting. But that was it.
In 2011 when I heard about Nickelodeon buying the last of the rights from Mirage and they were releasing all the old 80's original comics through IDW and there was to be a brand new comic written with Kevin Eastman on board I was quite excited. Not so much for the new arc thinking it would be as bad as the last two but to finally be able to collect the first arc and sit down and read it properly. That was five years ago....
I now have a hoard of what started off as comics and toys and now is as mass of turtle merchandise and memorabilia which is taking over my spare room and loft ranging from old school playmate toys to toys that have cost more than most people would spend on a holiday and a comic collection (new arc) that is possibly the best comic I've ever read. My friends won't reads it as Kevin's changed the storyline sort off and introduced the 1990's cartoon characters which a lot don't have anything to do with the first arc at all. Most people seem to think that the cartoon was the turtles original storyline as they were to young to remember the comic so you have a generation who remember the Dark and pretty serious comic, then there is my generation which had the cartoon and now there is a new generation of nickelodeon fans who just think Michael Bay is ruining it arguing about them not being from out of space etc.. And then the older one who agree but are quick to point out that its nothing like it was in the 90's. And also wont read the new comic out of spite as he's changed the story again. If anyone falls into this catorgory I implore you to read the comics as even though the stories changed its not that much different from the original fifty odd Mirage finally got round to completing some fifteen I think years later. Its clever how the story pans out. As different as it is you can't help but notice that it sticks roughly to the original story with lots and lots of characters added from the franchise like Bee bop and Rock steady to Krang and loads more. The way he incorporates the red bandanna's in the first few issues and then later changes to the four colours which most people will remember and the introduction of Hobs which changes the story a lot but still keeps it mint with a story that never lets up.
Casey's story in the new one is better than the first in my opinion and with the added plot about time travel (which is genius by the way as it is its lets them cross over with the likes of the ghost busters without messing up the plot while promoting all the games and all the characters drawn in by the various artists over the years. Its like the whole TMNT universe has finally been consolidated into one epic storyline that has a little something for ever one new, old and older. That aside the amount of different versions of the comics that have been published is ridiculous. I collect so its been hard to not buy every new version of the same comics I already have multiple time over. Add the cover variation's from the new arc and your talking like nearly a thousand ish comics in 5 yrs!!! Compared to the 50 odd that took four times as long. I think its fairly epic. i wonder how much pizza was consumed in the 1990's lol Don't even mind the new films that much either....
Ninja Turtles has changed a lot over the years but it has always had a strong cult following. People who do like the Turtles tend to be quite crazy with it. I'm no exception and I'm just glad that someday I'll be able to share, sell and give away my collection so generations after will have the chance read these stories in their prime.

Ha ha Final Fantasy VII by a LONG shot. The stories way better than the rest (even though I only played seven onwards) The characters are kick ass and just the basic way of setting up your characters..From Materia to armour & weapons you have total freedom in what you choose to do unlike its follow on's where it started to feel like dot to dot especially in ten.

Nah eight was biz, nine had its moments more due to the story than anything, ten I was really excited about but turned out to be a disappointment due to the whole spoon fed attitude to the first half/two thirds of the game, and then once your on the map your restricted to where you go....eleven never played even though it look promising, twelve crap, thirteen worse and that's where I'm upto...but final fantasy VII PS4!!!? Its going to be one of the best games of next year or this year whenever they decide to bring it out....

The last film I watched on cinema was Star wars episode seven and I thought it was mint. A lot of my friends told me it felt like they'd just re-hashed four, five & six, which they have a little but there are elements of it which still make me realise why I love it so much in the first place. For starters my favorite ship in the entire Universe is the Millennium Falcon and I'm glad that its still about and not been scraped on a junk planet somewhere...Then there's the entire feel to it, which at first I thought it reminded me a lot of Empire, as in no Jedi and the Imperials are the dominant force in the galaxy. I now think it really is a re-hash of the first (last three) films altogether for a younger generation.
If I was a kid again watching this film, which by the way is far better in my opinion than Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones. Return of the Sith is a different caliber of Star Wars so I can't compare it, but I'd probably rate it over that as well & considering the first three weren't done by Disney even though they actually look more like Disney than A Force Awakens does I think, for a Star Wars film its a really really good effort compared to the rubbish that's coming out these days like the Ninja Turtle Films and Transformers (sorry Michael but your films suck) which are films I grew up on like Star Wars. Kind of.

Alright,

I'm currently watching Owari no Seraph, its pretty good. Its about a virus that kills everyone over the age of 13 (I think) and at the same time Vampires turned up due to all the doom in the land and basically take over. The Vampires use Humans as livestock and feed on them at their leisure. The main character is a kid called Hyakuya Yuuichirou (had to look that up lol) who is part of an orphanage which I presume was set up by the Vampires for feeding.

I'm only up to the 11th episode but up to now it is mint and is definitely worth checking out.

Hey Vizzed!!!

Been looking for a site like this for ages and then my friend told me about Vizzed, so here I am! I love playing games on the go and LOVE retro gaming so when my friend told me about Vizzed I had to check it out. I'm pretty impressed. There are loads of games I love plus loads more to boot so happy days indeed. I also love anime and manga watching and reading whenever I get the chance. I've noticed this isn't just a place for games? The board seems to have LOADS of topics so I don't think I'll ever get bored on my travels. Looking forward to gaming and blogging with you all.

Cheers Slothwars38
