Luckily, I used Protect beforehand to protect myself. So Moonblast does nothing against me.

I get out unscathed and use my chance to use Smelling Salts on the next poster that's below me.

I don't really have a favorite Ice-type per se, but I really like Abomasnow/Mega Abomasnow, Mammoswine, Cloyster, Glalie/Mega Glalie, Beartic, and Walrein. But if I had to pick one Favorite, I'd have to pick... ...maybe either Cloyster or Mammoswine.

I just hope that they keep the slot machines in the 3DS Virtual Console releases. Oh, and all those bugs and glitches, such as that one glitch where it was possible to encounter two Mews, a Gengar, an early Lapras, and a Scyther (For Blue players) as early as before getting the CascadeBadge, and it required an Abra with Teleport and you haven't fought that Jr. Trainer♂ (The one that says "I saw your feat from the grass!" before fighting you) that has a Rattata and an Ekans on Route 24.

C is for Cut. It's a Normal move that's Physical. It has 95 Accuracy and its Base Power is about 50 or so. It could benefit from the Technician Ability, and it can be used outside of battle to cut down small trees and bushes. In Gen 1,Gen 2, and Gen 3, it used to cut down tall grass as well.

Next letter up to bat is none other than D.

V is for Vacuum Wave, a Special based Fighting Move with 40 base power and boosted priority.
Scyther could learn that move for some reason despite it having a not so good base Sp.Atk to support it.

Let's see here, I believe the next letter is absolutely, positively, without a doubt, none other than W. Yes, W is next. It's so next.

So yeah, about time I breathe life into Super Mario and Mother Fan Forum with a thread about Super Mario Maker.

Discuss Super Mario Maker here! Share the levels you made with those that have it, such as myself!

So yeah, the update for Super Mario Maker just came by the time that I posted this.
Here's what I know about it that I experienced, spoilered for your safety:

Spoiler:
-You can shake an Arrow Sign to get a Checkpoint Flag. You can only place one Checkpoint Flag in the Main Area and you can only place one Checkpoint Flag in the Sub Area.

-You can put a Super Mushroom on a Fire Flower or Mystery Mushroom/Super Leaf/Cape Feather/Propeller Mushroom to get a Tiered Power-Up system like in the actual SMB1/SMB3/SMW/NSMBU games, so you can put it in a ? Block.

-Event Courses are now in the Course World.

-You can play Official Levels with ease now. The makers are from Mary O. to that Sounds frog so far.

I hope you all enjoy this thread!

(When I get the chance, I'll edit this post to contain the levels I made.)

P is for Pain Split, which toys with the user's HP and the target's HP, making for some crazy shenanigans involving HP.

The next letter is none other than, without a doubt in my ever so humble mind, Q. Yep, Q is next. It's so next.

^ I could stomach that. If only for the cheese fries.

I want a Triple Double Balty Deluxe on a raft, four by four animal style, extra shingles with a shimmy and a squeeze, light axle grease, make it cry, burn it, and let it swim.
Just kidding. I know I don't want that. I'm not Bubble Bass, y'know.
Instead, I want a 1/2 pound burger with Applewood smoked bacon, grilled red & green peppers,  grilled onions, Pepper Jack cheese, and Santa Fe sauce all on a freshly baked bun.

T is for Toss Tortoise, which pretty much only appeared in Kirby's Adventure, but he has since been replaced by Phan Phan since Kirby's Adventure's GBA remake: Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland.

U is the next letter.

Right then. I think it's time to tell y'all about my first Handheld console. It may be quite short, but yeah...

My first Handheld console was an original color Brick Game Boy that I received from my parents back in late 1995, when I was 6.
I acquired about three games with it... ...at least that's what I think that it's that many games, but whatever.
Number 1 was Tetris, which came with the original color Brick Game Boy.
Number 2 was Kirby's Dream Land 2.
And number 3 was Primal Rage.
Tetris and Kirby's Dream Land 2 were the ones I enjoyed the most.

And that's my post.

Whew! I had a lucky shot at this.
Methinks the next time I post in this thread, the username I have to type with my eyes closed tight won't be so easy to accomplish...

So, yeah. Time to tell you other Geezers about my introduction to video games.

Between June 13 1992 and December 31 1993, my 3yr/4yr old self held an NES controller and played Super Mario Bros. 3 for the first time.
Basically I was a (very) young newcomer to video games.
When I first played Super Mario Bros. 3, I got a "TIME UP!" on World 1-1. After that, I got more and more video games, and got better with age.
Man, this thread is like looking into the past, and I'm glad that I participated in it!

I feel your pain, YoshiJustice.
At least I have enough patience and perseverance to help me on my Viz gaining journey.
And I hope you will too. We'll just never give up, and we'll reach our goals sooner or later.

Luckily, a Clefable showed up in front of me before the move hit, making "It doesn't affect the wild Clefable!" to show up due to Clefable being Fairy-type

I use Smelling Salts on the user below me.

9.0: It's a very good game! It has music by Jake "virt" Kaufman and music by Minami Matsumae(?) of MegaMan 1/MegaMan 2 fame. The game itself is difficult, but in a fun way. Yeah.

Next game to rate: Blast Corps

I catch them, wondering what they are.

After that, I throw every single Diamond/Pearl FrontSprite of all 493 Pokémon, their Forms/Formes, their Shinies, and their male/female differences such as Venusaur's, and Pikachu's. Both frames.
Yes, including "GIRUGAMESH!" Muk. And I throw all of them at the user below me.
