While we're talking about platforms, there's also a 3DS retail version (as in game cartridge).

Nice review! I must say, though, I have never heard of CRYPTARK before. You certainly made it sound interesting. I have some leftover money on Steam, I just may have to get this.

I recently got the indie game Shovel Knight for the Wii U while it was discounted from $14.99 to $9.99. I have to say, it's one of the best games I ever played! It has just the right amount of difficulty (and even if you're a total n00b, you can enter tons of cheat codes and become practically immortal). It's definitely not easy, but it's not too frustrating. I was actually caught off guard by how hard it was, even though I'm generally pretty good at video games. The game isn't too hard, like I said, especially if you just try to get through the game. I'm trying to get all the feats, however. I'm sure that will keep me busy!
I would recommend anyone with a Wii U, 3DS, PS4, or XBOX ONE to get Shovel Knight.

As for comparison, there are about 120 million photoreceptors in each eye. Which means...

An Oculus Rift with a 16k display for each eye would literally look better than the real world.

At this rate we'll have 16k resolution technology soon.
8k resolution means 7680×4320 pixels, or 33,177,600 pixels on the screen!
We have almost no 4k content (and not that much 1080p content) at the moment. I don't think any 4k content is coming anytime soon, either. That means 8k content is very far away.
Hopefully, though, this will be over soon. The human eye views 16k as almost perfect.
But $100,000... wow.

Eventually movies will take up yottabytes of data with these ridiculous resolutions. Yikes!
