Mostly on old thread but since it hasn't hit the us yet I figure its still open. The Japanese version is a definite good 'en. My fav feature, you have to play story mode to unlock the villains of each game. Had a ball kicking Cloud around as Sephiroth.

From what I know its not easy to find all three discs in if you go to a normal rom site. The most reliable route is a P2P website. As for the PSX emulator for the PSP, there is one and its already built in the official Firmware. It's called Popstation(POPS for short). Runs really smooth with almost every PSX game out there. However you will need to either find one already converted or convert it yourself for your PSP. Keep in mind this is for a custom Firmware PSP, the only other way around is Remote Play through a PS3.

The gun itself had me puzzled for years on how it worked. I like a lot of people assumed it shot a laser at screen. I looked it after a discussion about it and found that the guns captures the image of the screen in front of it and sends the signal to the system. Oh and that discussion was about if it was safe to play the game on a plasma.

Never played the first one all the way through. Actually I'm about to do an ESR patch on an ISO to test on my system. Anyone else on this site use FreeMcBoot or Memento for your PS2?

Sounds really interesting. A shame you have overwrite a current game cartridge. Unfortunately for me, my old NES system burnt out from use a long time ago.

CC was great. A very little known game that has a small relation to Chrono Cross would be Radical Dreamers. It was only available in Japan for the SNES and downloaded over phone line. The Patch for it should be easy to find however the actual game may take a while.

Now if someone can get a hold of the bios for the Sony Pocketstation that might be a rare find.

A relation to that same problem is the PS2. Alot of you will say that the console was already made with DVD playback, so what's the harm? The similarity is that both consoles lasers were not meant to continuously run only in periods to read then shut off. My result, I have an old phat ps2 with the DVD laser burned out so it can't play PS2 DVD-Roms or DVD's. However it can still play CD, PSX, and PS2 CD-Roms.

There are a few over looked features that should be noted with the ds re-make. Using that nice second screen displays the extra menu while fighting. It's nice to go into a fight and see the whole battle scene. A very nice add-on is a full map while in town or forests.

I just might have to take a look at this translation soon. I played the original Chinese rom some months back. Worked very well on FCEU.ELF on PS2 never could get it working on PSP though I only tried it on NesterJ 1.20. Scratch 1.20, I used NesterJ CN Mapper and it worked well for PSP. Cheats however do not not successfully apply for the game while using it.

Not sure about ds, however there has a some development on a psp homebrew game that had tt. Use sets from 8 also had custom set from ff7 and ff10. I think the last release had internet connectivity to play other people online.
