Some games have seen to be broken ever since the server switch. One that I have noticed that still doesn't work to this day is Penn & Tellers Smoke and Mirrors: https://www.vizzed.com/play/penn-and-tellers-smoke-and-mirrors-%28unreleased%29-%28disc-1%29-scd-online-sega-cd-77037-game

It's a shame with that game too. This was the only place you could play it with ease without using an emulator and getting the ROM yourself. Hope this gets fixed!

Davideo7 : As probably previously mentioned, select games still don't work, I found some Sega CD games to just be stuck at the "downloading ROM" step with no progression, not even an error message.

Hope this gets fixed.

There is this really strange bug that just started happening to me today when I go to play games here. None of the games work when I'm logged in. They all just say "Error: Unable to download ROM" or something similar. The weird thing is that they work perfectly fine when I'm logged out of my account. And that chat box that you get on the side when you're playing a game? It doesn't show up and is instead replaced with a connection failed page.

This happens in both chrome and firefox and no game that I have tested works. I am starting to think that this is a server problem, but I could be wrong.

Any effort to help is appreciated!

This has probably been mentioned, but I'm not taking the time to read through 10 pages.

Conker's Bad Fur Day has some critical problems with it. You're lucky if you can get passed the title screen and if you do, it has some pretty bad problems. Game is virtually unplayable on both emulators. Probably the worst game in the Retro Game Room, all of the other ones at least have worked.

Not sure if this is the RGR's fault or not, but the breakout game's paddle is broken. Even if I go into the configuration for it and enable the paddle, all that it does is jerk around when you hit the arrow keys. https://www.vizzed.com/play/breakout-breakaway-iv-a2600-online-atari-2600-3916-game

Depends on how big it is. If it's a small one like this I don't give one, but if it's a huge multi-paragraph essay, then yes, I do multiple times.

The reason I joined was because I was always into retro gaming, but couldn't get enough savings to actually collect. Add that with my impatience, and you have me browsing through the entire Internet looking for ways to play classic games for free. Before I discovered this I would go onto sites like 8bbit.com or game-oldies.com. Those were fine to work with, but didn't satisfy me for very long. On game oldies there was a copyright claim on the ORIGINAL Super Mario Bros. and other well known games which was odd, and 8bbit.com and their other sites library seemed to be lacking in my opinion.

It wasn't until a couple years later (2014 according to my profile) I found this glorious site and was immediately stunned. This site blew me away. I never thought it was possible to play Nintendo 64 games on the fly in my browser without any hassle. Vizzed simply did the collecting for you and let you have all of the fun. It was all I could of hoped for, except for one issue...

I was running on a Macbook Pro at the time and the Java emulators were a bit unstable and slow at the time, until I saw this thing about the plugin. I believe this was before the community here figured out a way to get it to run on Mac, which made me loose interest of the site and forget that it existed.

Until I got my PC in February, I used the same sites that I mentioned previously. They were fine, and it was the best I had so I had to make the most of it. When I upgraded to my gaming PC, I got side tracked because now I could play all of the high end games that I've wanted to play for a while on PC, and I lost interest in retro gaming for a good amount of time. I wasn't until a month ago(?) I re-discovered the site somehow, and saw all of the greatness it had once again. Seeing that it looked familiar, I checked to see if I could sign in and sure enough, I could remember it! It was the same account I abandoned because I was on Mac, and now that I had the full power to run what I always wanted to, I quickly installed the RGR plugin and went on a full 8-64 bit binge on anything I could find.

After that, I went and browsed the site where I discovered things like the Viz currency with the shop and all, which I thought was pretty stupid at the time, but quickly came to realize why it was there. I also discovered the forum for the very first time (Yes, I didn't even know there WAS a forum a year ago, and that's how I ended up here.

In summary, I joined because I wanted to play retro games, plugin wasn't compatible, abandoned the site, re-discovered it a year later on a new computer and started using it every day. Overall, it's a great site, I like it.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. Most definitely the best phone I've owned by far. I got it a few months ago, and it was my first leap to android from IOS. In my opinion, it's safe to say that Android is better by a long shot. You're a lot less restricted and it's a lot more handy in my opinion.

Brand new custom built PC that I built myself. I got it around February of this year.
My specs are as follows:

- Nvidia GTX 970 SC Graphics card

-Intel i5 4440 Processor

-Asrock H97M Anniversary Motherboard

-Seagate 1 TB Solid State Hard Drive

-Fresh install of Windows 10 64 bit (GREAT operating system I might add, have had no problems with it.)

My PC is everything I could have hoped for, it runs all game that I test it with on max setting at around 40-60 FPS. I saved up for years for a computer like this, and I finally got it and couldn't be happier. Oh, and nice layout by the way.

Just ignore that, it's completely fine. I've been able to run every game with my GTX 970 40-60 FPS on max settings.

I honestly have no idea what they are complaining about. It has something to do with the last GB of RAM, and that they built it in a weird way or something, so it doesn't use it as efficiently I guess. People are just complaining about loosing a couple of unnoticeable frames. The 980 has the same problem, and people think that's a great card, and the 970 is about the same thing, but a little lower clock speed.

This has to be one of the best "bang for your buck" cards I have ever owned.

My specs are as follows:

- GTX 970 SC (GREAT card)

- Intel i5 4440 (getting a little old, but it good for what I use it for.)

- 8 GB Cosiar Vengeance RAM

- Asrock H97M anniversary motherboard (Lacks a few features, but I barely use them anyway.)

-1 TB Seagate SSHD (VERY good HD, highly recommended)

Built this thing in February for gaming, and the performance is well. Can max out every game that I have tried it with, including games that just came out! The build was around $800 and it has served me well.

geeogree : Ah, okay. It's a shame, really. I ended looking more into it and found it on the help page saying that you could battle other people and earn Viz. Real disappointing though, as that could be a really handy way to earn Viz without using the Viz market.

Thanks for letting me know!

I've been eyeballing these items recently, and even spent some Viz on some of them, but I haven't found where exactly they come in to play. I know that at the top of the categories it states that the items are "Just For Fun" but it looks like a lot of time has been put in to them. They all look unique, and they even have their own description and stats! But oddly, I haven't found anywhere where these items actually come in to play anywhere, other than to just make my profile look cool.

   Just a bit curious.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
