Well, this has got to be one of the busiest weeks I've had for a looong time. First, after being unemployed for over a year, I started my new job on Monday, so lots of training and so much to learn. I've met some great people but not so confident with the learning bit. Maybe need some more motivation and confidence, I know it'll take a while.

Next, birthday (mine, actually ). Planned this big bowling party, invited people, other people wanted to invite people, I kind of want to un invite people, some people hinted they don't care for other people, didn't book bowling lanes. Crazy stuff. Maybe next year I will just hide in a hole for the week and wait until this whole thing blows over.

Third, trying to find the time to shop/make Christmas gifts. By the time I'm done work I just want to eat and sleep.  How do some people do it?!? I'm amazed I'm surviving the week so far.

On the plus side got to see Dumb and Dumber To tonight and got treated out to dinner. I may have lost a few brain cells watching the movie, but it was hilarious.

I've been having a Futurama marathon all week because apparently it's leaving Netflix December 10th. Trying to watch as many episodes as I can before that happens.

I'd have to go with The Lion King... "Because I just can't wait to be king" and "Hakuna Matata, what a wonderful phrase".

Bought myself some much needed boots yesterday, does that count as a pre- black Friday gift? (even though I never shop on Black Friday or that weekend, too much carnage).

Thanksgiving isn't just an American tradition. Here in Canada we have Thanksgiving as well, only it is in October instead of November. I'm not sure about other countries but every country celebrates holidays in their own way, and may have different names for it other than Thanksgiving.

I tend to avoid shopping malls and stores Black Friday, as well as the rest of the weekend. I might buy a game on cyber Monday, but I don't have much to spend now either and I have so many games I should finish before I start another one.

I went to sleep at 3:53 A.M. Night time actually goes by pretty fast when you're watching a movie and playing games at the same time.

I catch it, try to read it. After 10 minutes I realize it is not proper English but instead it is gibberish, and toss it behind me.

Granted, but when Mario sings he has a terrible voice, and you can't get him to stop singing... Also, half of the strings on Luigi's guitar are broken, Wario is missing a drumstick, and Yoshi is more interested in the food than playing on beat.

I wish for a maid to come clean my house for me.

I love both games, but I have to go with Ocarina of Time. It gave the characters more depth than in earlier games, and there was quite a bit more to do in Ocarina of Time. The graphics, environments and overall feel of the game made it feel epic, mainly because the N64 was a giant leap for the gaming industry.  The attacks and special effects were awesome for it's time.

Now I'm feeling the need to swing a giant sword around and make sound effects... and maybe slay some monsters, or chickens, whichever I find first.

Fishergirl7 : The Lego Movie was pretty fun. Guardians of the Galaxy is one of my favorite movies this year. Not sure if I will see Mocking jay in theaters or wait for it to come on DVD/Netflix, etc.

The next movie I want to see is Penguins of Madagascar, that looks like it will be lots of fun.

They remade the video games of Ruby and Sapphire, not the anime. The games are available on the Nintendo 3DS system. My cousin just bought both of them and she's loving them so far.

The last movie I watched was Madagascar 3. That movie is hilarious, especially any scene the penguins and/or the lemurs are in. The animal control woman though, is pretty creepy. Now I feel like listening to some music
