Yea that is something I am realizing as well. I think it is because I started playing with Mednafen version first and that had the clock issues plus the speed button never worked on it. It actually seems to run when you are not even playing it so the berries do change over time.

I finally got the speed button trick to work. It sets time in motion, although since you can't turn off the BG music, it feels like an overdose of caffeine.

Since there is no internal clock battery the timed events don't work. I read somewhere using the speed button helps gets past this so I can grow more berries. I have tried this but I have yet to see the berries grow. Is there no way of doing this or is there a way of getting more berries?
