You pick up the FLOOR COLORED HAMMER and yank the KEY right off the string! You approach the trap door, but then you notice.. It's just a door that was nailed to the wall. What are you going to do now?

You're in a closed room, sitting and thinking about what you're doing. You don't know what's going on and have been like that for about 5 minutes. What do you decide to do?

This game is a gem. A true gem. Being a launch title for the N64, you wouldn't expect it to be such an amazing game seeing as the software was new. It's one of the best looking N64 games and sounds pretty good too. It has a memorable soundtrack that will stick with you for a long while and has a nostalgic feel even for people who don't have any nostalgia for this game. It's pretty fun for all ages and takes a while to complete as well, making it a good time killer and just an overall nice game to finish. It's not very hard, but it makes up for it's difficulty with the amount of content in the game. Puzzles, enemies, vibrant and colorful worlds to explore. It's amazing! The story is the average "oh the princess is gone" shebang, but no one really plays Mario for the story (I hope, there's not much there, haha). I would have to give this game a close to 10 but not quite 9.8 out of 10. It would get the full on 10 if it was a bit harder and had a little more to the story like the Mario and Luigi series. But can you really expect a good story out of a 90's platformer? Eh, I guess not. Anyways, that's all for this review, see you in one of my other reviews if you happen to come across one!

Alright. This game is like the devil.. No. It is the devil. I don't even know what to think about this thing.. But it scares me. This game is like that one friend that you were better than as a kid and he was always the butt of the joke. But after school you sorta drifted apart and didn't talk for a few years. So a few years later you meet him again and he's ripped. Totally jacked. And he's better than you at everything now as well. That's what this game is. It's better than you and you can't be better than it. It will cut you open and squirt a mix of salt, lemon juice, and hot sauce into the wound, I swear. It's so difficult.. Really. And as it's spraying all this stuff into your open wound it's yelling at you. "YOU SHOULD HAVE GRINDED!" "YOU SHOULD HAVE DONE IT, BUT YOU DIDN'T!" There's no going back at this point, its game over. Ya' dead. As soon as you walk into your first patch of grass and see that Eevee, your life is over. Just over automatically. You can try to attack it and heal, but it gets you anyways. The trainers' Pokémon.. They're even worse. The second trainer you can encounter (not counting your rival) has a level 16 Pokémon. Just ponder that for a second and absorb the hate and pain that this game makes you feel. It never ends. The ride never ends. It's scary and it won't stop.

But you don't stop playing it. You'll play it again and again until you can't do it anymore!
And that's why I give this game a 10/10.
