Hellfudge : thanks everyone

Hello everyone. I am completely new to this kind of experience. I have never been part of a group like this and am looking forward to finding out all I can do. I like retro games so this looks like a fun way to game (although I'm pretty clueless as to how this all works). I am 39 years old and have a wonderful family. I game in my free time when I'm not at school or work, and I started out on an Atari when I was 6 or so in the 80's. I am currently a lab technician at a local hospital in southern California. I am working on my law degree and am almost done. I hope to work in forensics and criminology when I am done, particularly in the information technology field. If anybody has any pointers I would be tremendously appreciative. I think I have played most of these games over my life span, but am looking forward to giving them another spin, especially Metroid and the final fantasies, my personal favorites from childhood.
