For it's time, Metal Gear Solid 4 really felt like the end of everything (and I think that was the point being made in general), at first it was extremely grim, but one fake credits screen later, we're left with a bittersweet feeling and one of the most polarizing entries in the franchise.

The Deus Ex franchise is a very strong contender personally, but that's because of the stealth aspects and the ability to avoid combat by persuading others. Having tons of gadgets and skills to take out enemies really brings the experience to another level.

For straight up action: Halo on Legendary difficulty with a partner is a blast (and hard as hell), and if that fails, then probably CoD: World at War.

Auto-combos only work if the game is balanced around their existence, only game I can think of right now that does it right is Persona 4 Arena, but that's because it's meant for people who know nothing about fighting games.

Otherwise, yeah. They usually cheapen the experience.

Recently, I decided to boot up my SNES and play Inspector Gadget (The nostalgia is strong with this one!). Pretty fun game, but it only took me about an hour to beat, it's easier than I remember...

You should be able to go back to your save file if you didn't overwrite it. Just a question though (Marked as spoiler, just in case)
Spoiler:
Can you load back to December 3rd? If so, make sure you respond to Yosuke with the right answers. That should leave you on your way to the Normal/True ending route.

My most recent guilty pleasure, without a doubt, is Monster Monpiece. Heavy emphasis on anime fanservice, but the gameplay is actually solid and the card collecting aspect is pretty cool. Having this game as a Vita exclusive is a shame, more people need to experience it.

The Super Nintendo gave me lots of enjoyment as a child, the two games I remember the most fondly are Inspector Gadget and Samurai Shodown, with Haohmaru as my favorite character to play as.

Captain Falcon is my favorite overall since he's been in every single iteration yet. But in the individual games, Roy for Melee (Roy's our boy!), Snake for Brawl (I just adore those Codec Calls), and Palutena for Smash 4 (Can't beat a goddess XD).
