Okay, so after a small hiatus, I came back to find new versions of the RGR available. which, at first, I thought was pretty awesome, so I wend and downloaded the latest version ready to get back to my favourite games from way back when.

Then... The illusion was broken, all available versions download fine, but when  I attempt to install them, I get an error message saying that there was a problem writing to the file /rgrservicereader.exe and this has occurred for all the versions not currently struck out on the main post.

How would one go about solving this issue? Because as it stands... I can't play any of the games I used to as they all require the plugin, which I currently can't use, as much as I love this site, and the RgR, I see little reason to stay if I can't play the games I came for.   

IgorBird122 : Well, since it's possible for moderators to go through a streamer's archives, that can easily be rectified, allowing a moderator to vouch for some of the video's while making sure people don't score for the non-gaming streams.

But I do see your point, and like I said, the kinks need to be ironed out.

IgorBird122 : It's not a stream of the TDV, it's a TDV for streamers.

WE wouldn't be streaming people posting, the prizes are given to the streamers for streaming their games or art, using timers to decide the winners, I think you may need to read the intro post again.

I;m with Zander on this one, as not many people actually stream daily, I'm normally once or twice a week if time allows, and even then, I could go two whole weeks without a single stream, so, it may make a bit more sense to just tally up everything for a month, and decide placings on that alone, or something?

For example, someone could do a single stream that lasts something like three days, and still win the Longest Single Stream category, but someone could do an hour or so a day and claim most stream seconds, it's all down to the time frames you use, since daily, wouldn't be feasable in the long run of things, due to, as mentioned, not everyone streams daily, which puts them at a severe disadvantage.

But, if the kinks are ironed out, I don't see why this can't work, so long as it's fair for ALL streamers.  

HeroWolf : I suggest you do try it all at least once, and, check out the forums from time to time, a lot of fun things go on around the site at regular intervals, including the Tour De Vizzed which happens next month, that is always interesting, as people tend to stop living in the RGR and swarm the forums, for points and prizes!

You're wanting to play Lode Runner: The Legend Returns, right? Well, you're going to need to spend some time running around on the forums, build up some Viz (The virtual currency used on Vizzed.com), fifty thousand to be precise, and then you'll be able to buy the PSX item, due to the massive amount of Data in Playstation games, Lode Runner will take up a LOT of bandwidth, and that item is the only way to access the games, in short, you need to show that you're commited to the site before using that much valuable bandwidth.

Don't quote me on that last part, all I know is that you can't play PSX games until you have that item.

However, I'm a nice person, and... You have 10K to get you started, enjoy your time here on Vizzed, and no doubt a member of staff will be here to welcome you officially, I hope to see you around the site, either on one of our many forums, or around the RGR.

Skilledtree : no worries man, no worries at all, if you ever have any questions, you can approach practically anyone on the site that's been here for a short while, it's easy to pick up on things, heck, I've been here around a year, even I'm still picking things up here and there, it's a constant learning curve.

Anyway, yeah, back to the important stuff, welcome to the site, I've no doubt that like me, you'll find a LOT to keep you coming back for more, specially if you're a tabletopper too, there are a few forum based games that you can sink your teeth into, you'll find them easy enough without much help, so I won't bore you with details.

There's also one or two competition type things that a user or three run around the site, including the TDV, next month, I think? Just to give you some incentive to hand around the forums a little more.

Davideo7 : Awesome, didn't expect it to happen this quickly, due to you running this site in it's entirety, I can't imagine that to be an easy task.

Also, I'd like to know if I qualify as a Silver member or not, I already have an ad for Vizzed on my channel page, below my video pane, and I've just made you a mod for the channel, I'm also in the process of creating a banner for the actual video pane, using the vizzed board logo (Naturally) to run across the top of ALL my streams, be they RGR or from other sources.

I already know I won't be making Gold partnership any time soon, due to using a pretty slow netbook, and as such, my streams lag, quite a lot at times, sometimes to the point where I'll need to move one frame per ten seconds for it to seem fluid in any way.

This would imply that you can stream any game you like, either from the RGR, your PC or any console you have a capture card for.

But, I actually meant the individual towns, as in, what people would see when walking around each one, for example, the EXACT location of the pokecenter, the mart, gyms, individual houses, places of import, etc. I could also make a region map, or at least try to find another medium to portray the one you already have.
