Congo! : I got rid of the RGR plugin and re installed it. That did not help. None of the RGR plugins work for me, but the HTML5 ones do sometimes. I use firefox with windows 10 and haven't had this problem until a week or two ago.

I have been trying several games over the past few days, and all of them , so far, have loaded, with the starting music playing, but the black screen never goes away. I can't change the controls and none of the F keys work. I've tried NES, SNES and PlayStation platforms with no difference.

alexanyways : I decided to give Valkyrie Profile another go since the last time I played it on here, it froze on me around the 60 hour mark right before finishing it on hard mode. Something I have never been able to accomplish since it is a pretty rare, making it expensive to own, game. I got 56 hours into it, just shy of where I had made it to last time, and it does the same thing. I wont be trying it a third time.

Davideo7 : I just made a thread about this, and as soon as I was done, I saw this one. I played Valkyrie Profile for the PlayStation quite a while ago, and after around 60 hours it just froze on me. Music still playing. This was on an older computer with windows xp. I recently decided to give it another try on a much better comp with win10 OS. Same thing at just over 56 hours in, it freezes in mid conversation with the music continuing. This is one of my all time favorite games, and to buy it would run me around $200. I was so happy I could play it here. It is a 2 disc game if that matters, and it is towards the end of the game that this has happened both times. Slightly different spots. Thanks for making this post where we can see we aren't alone with our gaming problems, and I really hope this is something that can be fixed.

A while ago, I found a game here that I've been wanting to play, as I have never beaten it. I made it around 60 hours into Valkyrie Profile, only to have it freeze on me. I decided to give it another shot, from the beginning, with a completely different computer (much better than my old one) and at just over 56 hours, it freezes again. I don't think this game is working as intended. Just wanted to let someone know that I tried it a second time with the same results.

JonXMasterZZMan : Having grown up watching, and then playing them, from the very first Final Fantasy all the way to starting number 13 and getting a few hours into it, I have been pretty disappointed at how they have gone the way of science fantasy. I loved the first couple, with 6 being one of my all time favorite games ever. I like 7 and 8, but they were just not as good. It seems that with better graphics, the story lines really suffer, and all you end up with is a pretty game. Keep your guns and give me my magic back.

I would have to say that my favorite boss songs would be "Decisive Battle" from Final Fantasy 6 and "One Winged Angel" from Final Fantasy 7.  You just cant beat classic games, and their music really made the experiences even more epic, but those boss fights are where you need it the most

I have games ranging from the Atari 5200 up to the PlayStation 3.  ( I don't have money for the PS4 or I would start my collection on that)  I don't think I could ever part with any of my games since they all have some sort of meaning to me.  From just playing them as a kid and wanting them back, to having played them and fallen in love with them.  I grew up watching my dad play a game, beat it, then buy another.  He would do that almost every time he beat a game, and his collection rivals mine.  I don't collect just to have them either, so I don't own thousands of games.  I have to at least like it enough to play it twice.  I have a few favorites that I would take to my grave with my, like Suikoden II and Ogre Battle.  As for consoles, I wouldn't get rid of any of those either, except my crappy Chinese remake of a Nintendo, but, you get what you pay for on that

I decided, after some speculation, to try watching the new Berserk.  Compared to the original animation, it is trash.  I will watch it through however, simply for the story line progression.  I have also been waiting for the next episodes of Castlevania on Netflix to come out.  They generously gave us a whopping four episodes to sate our anime fix...thanks for nothing...Finally, I must forever wait for Dragon Ball to keep rolling along.  I finished Super as they came out with them in Japanese almost every Sunday until they ended it a few months ago.  A movie is in the making and hopefully it is not just filler from everything we have seen so far like they did with Battle of the Gods and Resurrection F.  That's about it.  I like to swap from anime to anime much like I do with video games.  I will throw in Sekirei every once in a while just because that was one of the first ecchi I ever saw, and I really liked it

I am trying to play a few games but all I get is "Vizzed plugin init script starting" when I try with the mednafen.  I downloaded the c++ and the 2.41 and I sit and stare at a blank screen for quite a while.  I downloaded 2.4 and got rid of 2.41 and it's the same thing still.  Help please

I started playing World of Warcraft over a decade ago, and still play it to this day.  I just looked at a total play time of my main character and it is 320 days or 7,680 hours.  I have around 20 characters over 2-3 servers, so my total game play would be far greater.  Almost an entire year straight on just one character.  I have played Final Fantasy 6 many times and run the clock to 99:99 leveling all the characters to finally run Kefka's tower.

Granted, but your lack of sleep takes it's toll and you end up like the Russian men in their sleep deprivation test.  (For those who haven't read the stories on this, it is a gruesome read but very interesting)

I wish Final Fantasy was real life

I would buy one if they didn't come with pre installed games on them, or an option to install others.  I am not sure if there is a way to add other games after you purchase the console, but some how I doubt it.  I heard that the Super Nintendo is only coming equipped with 21 games, and I don't remember what the Nintendo came with, but it was somewhere around there.  I imagine they sold out fast because they chose not to make more than they knew wouldn't sell.  With the size, they could easily put every single game made onto each one, and probably even make a dual NES/SNES box with close to every game.  THAT would be worth me opening my wallet

I have had a frustrating moment for quite some time now.  Not any game in particular, but which one to play, rather.  I play a lot of World of Warcraft, and Blizzard just released their new raid dungeon two weeks ago, but I have kind of hit a plateau there with the characters I play, and we only raid Friday and Saturday nights.  I have been going back and forth between several games including Breath of Fire 3, Final Fantasy 8 and Ogre Battle to name a few.  My frustration comes in the form of which one do I want to play?  Do I finish the one I started first because I don't want to lose where I am in the story even though I am not in the mood to play it right now?  Do I play one that I am currently interested in, but risk losing the story line and it's momentum?  That's where my frustration comes from

Since you said the situation calls for the need to choose 2 portals to go through, I would choose the green portal and the purple portal...since I need to choose two portals to go through.

You are out at sea with some friends and during the course of one night, a severe storm erupts and destroys your boat.  You awake to find the bodies of your friends washed ashore next to you, and you are on a beach of what appears to be an island somewhere in the ocean.  You feel something solid in your pocket and smile as you remembered you grabbed _____ in your haste to evacuate your ship.

did you grab your:

A) pocket knife

B) water proof lighter
