Hello guys. I'm doing a review on a badly-ported version of Super Mario Brothers. This one's called Super Mario Bros. II 1998! Which was made by someone that we all don't know. Or do we? Edit: I have made edits to the review to make it better. Right, here's the review.

GRAPHICS: 3/10
The graphics are taken from Super Mario All-Stars. However the text in the hub is slightly edited. Mario looks like he got a little squashed when he looks small. Also, the colour of the game looks like they were GIF pictures copied and pasted in the Windows 7 version of MS Paint.

SOUND: 4/10
The sound is kind of good; the music is alright. When Mario hits a box, the "power up" sound plays when a item is inside. When you get 100 coins, you don't hear a 1UP sound. Instead, it will go down to 0 (it will give you an extra life!) and no sound plays.

ADDICTIVENESS: 1/10
This game is very, VERY, very bad. I really would never want to play this game as it's not very programmed properly. As of my Super Boy on the Master System review, the Buzzy Beetles and Koopa Paratroopas were also not programmed properly, except for the normal Koopas. Instead, they just poke their faces out of their shells, go back into their shell and when you stomp them, they just die. And for the Paratroopas? Well, the Red ones fly up and down in World 1-3, but sometimes when you stomp on them, they just take away your power up! The green ones also fly up and down and probably something else... but what's the story for this game?

STORY: None...
There's no story in the game. It's just Mario going to save the Princess. What do you expect?

DEPTH: 9/10
This is how big the game offers to me, it's because of the effort put into this game.

DIFFICULTY: 10/10
This game is very hard like the depth on how much it's hard.

OVERALL RATING: 1.8/10
I don't really think this is a good game at all. The controls are BAD, the warp zones are reversed, and Lakitu may throw down too many Spinies and crash the game!

Well that's the end of my review for this game. But before I go, at the end of the game when you save the Princess, she'll say this:

"Thank you Sonic. The kingdom is saved. Now try again."

The person who made this may have taken Sonic Jam 6, insert a 2 player mode, replaced Sonic with Mario and forgot to rewrite the sentence that says "Thank you Sonic" to "Thank you Mario". That's all for my review on Super Mario Bros. II 1998. See you next time!

marcus047 : Nice review though, but what about the spelling? I'll give you 99.9 percent rating for you.

Hello again. I've been on a quest to make reviews on pirated games. But this time, it's Super Boy II, the sequel to the original Super Boy, but this time it's a copy of Super Mario Brothers - The Lost Levels. I have edited this to make sure it's much better. The game originally appeared on the MSX in 1989, but how did it get onto the Sega Master System? Anyway, let's get onto the review.

GRAPHICS: 2/10
The graphics are from the original Mario game. Some of them are slightly edited, like the castle tiles. Also, the colours don't actually look the same to the original on the MSX, they are just brighter or darker. Even the sprites were not used without permission by Nintendo.

SOUND: 5/10
Some of the sounds are funny, compared to the block breaking sound if Super Boy (well, he looks like Mario) had a mushroom.

ADDICTIVENESS: 3/10
I find this very unusual. Somehow I might play another game as I don't find this one amusing. There is one problem, that you only get points for collecting a coin,
not for killing enemies. Buzzy Beetles and Koopas weren't programmed properly. Instead, when you stomp on them, they just die. They are supposed to move in their shells! Some item boxes are randomized, some have coins,
some have mushrooms and some have fire flowers. Even though, you have to jump higher enough just to get a big score from the flagpole.

STORY: None
No, really. There's no story in the game. What do you think I would explain? Super Boy trying to save a Princess? That's Mario's job!

DEPTH: 8/10
The game will take a few hours or minutes to finish. But somehow the castle levels for me are tricky.

Now, you've been waiting for...
THE DIFFICULTY: 7/10
The controls are a little bad. They are very irritating and the more frustrating the controls are, the more harder the game becomes.

You know, the Super Boy series is a knock-off to the Mario series. But anyway, that's my review for the Super Boy II MSX to Master System review. See you next time!

After I played many pirated games such as Super Mario World (the NES version), Sonic Jam 6 and Super Mario Land 4, I found a very strange Mario pirate that came from Russia. There were two Russian pirates of Mario games: Super Mario 3 - Around the World, and this one called SUPER MARIO 4 - SPACE ODYSSEY.

GRAPHICS: 3/10
The graphics are from many different games such as New Super Mario Bros., Super Mario World 2, Mario & Wario... and let's say Super Mario All-Stars.

SOUND: 1/10
The sound is not the same. Some of them sound like Pac-Mania sounds. When you destroy a brick, the "Destroyed Brick" sound plays from the NES version of Super Mario Bros. When Mario falls down a hole, he sounds like a demon screaming out of rage. Also, the music doesn't loop for a reason.

ADDICTIVENESS: 2/10
This is a piece of garbage. The controls suck, similar to the pirated games I said on the top.

STORY: None
There is no story in the game. You mean that Mario has to go saving the Princess a million times before he loses all his lives? Not in this game I don't think...

DEPTH: 5/10
However, this game is sort of half-easy to beat. I've been trying over a million times, when I kept falling into holes.

DIFFICULTY: 7/10
It's not that hard to finish the game. But I think it's NOT the best game because of the words that I cannot understand (P.S. I don't come from Russia).

OVERALL RATING: 2.3/10
This is not really a fun game to play. Once you have finished the game, you won't know what your score would be, because there's no score or time bar.

This is my review for Super Mario 4 - Space Odyssey. See you in my next review.

I really liked to play Super Mario Brothers on the original Nintendo NES console on my computer. But when I saw a different version of the original game on a different console, this meant one thing... SUPER MARIO BROTHERS DELUXE!

SMBDX had many different stuff including the Boo Race and Lost Levels (300,000 points to unlock), Challenge mode (collect 5 red coins and find a hidden box with an Yoshi egg and get many points as you can) and a Fortune Telling game (Pick a Extremely Lucky card and you'll get five 1ups, but if you pick a Extremely Unlucky card, you fail).

Super Mario Brothers was first released in 1985 on the NES, then later ported onto the GBC in 1999. Sounds amazing, eh?
Right, let's get onto the review.

GRAPHICS: 9/10
The graphics look the same to the original NES game. But with just brighter colours...? Luigi's in his normal self, with a green hat when he's small/big, and his small/big-self from the original NES game as his fire palette.

SOUND: 10/10
I really like the music and the sound very much. They also sound very different to the original game. Right back at ya!

ADDICTIVENESS: 9/10
I find it a little bit addicting. So for now... I'll be playing this over again and again. And again. Until I get a game over. Eh?

STORY: 10/10
The story is the same. The 7 Mushroom Retainers and the Princess are kidnapped by Bowser. Not that interesting to the same game... or is it?

DEPTH: 7/10
The depth is same to the game. But if I had Game Genie codes (e.g. Enemy dies when Mario touches it, lives never get taken away when you die, high jump like in the hack Mario Jump), it would make the game easier to complete.

DIFFICULTY: 6/10
Let's say that it's not really that hard to complete... or IS it?

Now for the overall rating: 10/10
This is a very good game to play. Although this is a sort of replica of Super Mario Brothers.

So that's my review for now. See you.

This game is a screwed up game. I went through the warp zone at 1-2, then the other warp zone at 4-2, and I luckily made it to the end of the game. Also, the Piranha plants just ignore you. When you stand near a pipe, they go down, then up. Then down. If you don't know what the flashing balls are, they're the shape of the Pokeball. What do you people think about this random game?

Yep, this is my first review on a Super Mario Bros. hack... SIRIUS MARIO BROTHERS 1! A hack that will seriously warm up your bacon...
Alright, onto the review now!!!

GRAPHICS: 5
The graphics are still the same to the original game, but the levels are edited. I still like the look of the normal look of the graphics though.

SOUND: 8
The sound is still normal but not edited. The creator of this game could use a music changer to change the music and sounds itself. Not sure if it's glitchy.

ADDICTIVENESS: 5
When you start the game, I find level 1 the most weirdest. But I'll still play it though... even when it's hard.

STORY: 1
The story is still the same. The Princess gets kidnapped by Bowser and Mario and Luigi have to save her. That's all. Find that boring?

DEPTH: 7
It seriously does have (sort of) a lot of hard work to do to complete the game and become a super-star.

And now for the difficulty: 8
I find it a bit hard to play the game. But I'll sort of play it again. And again, and again.

That's all for my review of Sirius Mario Brothers 1. Hope to see you again soon.

Once Super Mario World was released on the SNES, Zemina does it again. This time, the unofficial and unlicensed Super Boy 3.

The first level was a remake of SMW, but were the others? I don't think so. At every round/level, you fight a Fire Brother from Super Mario Bros. 3. WTF?! That's just stupid! Why did Zemina steal Mario sprites and put them in their games? Probably they don't care about Nintendo.

All those games of Super Boy (MSX: 1, 2, 3, and Sega Master System: 4) are terrible. Would Nintendo care about a South Korean company to make rip-offs to Super Mario Bros.? No.

I would somehow play it, but not every time. But what about a skit? Do our reviews need to be professional to have skits? I don't know. No, I did not copy NovemberJoy. I made this skit by myself.

(Me) Ugh, stupid Fire Brother. I shouldn't have brought that Pepsi power-up.

Suddenly, Mario slams the door down.

(Mario) Its-a me, Mario!

(Me) MARIO! Hello there.

(Mario) I can-a see that-a you are-a playing Super-a Boy 3. Why don't you-a quit-a playing Super-a Boy?

(Me) I have to review games, then I play them.

(Mario) But some of-a games on-a the Vizzed web-a-site are hacks of-a me and rip offs of-a me!

Then, Super Boy walks into the house.

(Me) Uh... Super Boy? What the fudge are you doing here?!

(Mario) Yeah?!

(Super Boy) Your a rip off, Mario!

(Mario) No, you are-a rip off of-a me!

They started fighting over which game, END OF SKIT.

And of course, end of review.

This is what Super Mario Brothers would look like when playing it on the Atari 2600. Strange, isn't it? Somehow, it's the exact same game, but the graphics are hacked. Mario has no face, the goombas don't look angry either. But it is still good.

In this Mario hack, it's against the clock. But how many levels does it take? Only one. Race to the end before time runs out, but if you don't, then you will FAIL.

The graphics are still the same to the original, but the game gets harder when it advances. I tried it out, but I failed!
So I wouldn't be able to save the princess with too much levels from worlds 1 to 8.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
