Difference: The only major difference I could tell from the original Emerald was that you can get the Kanto starters first and then catch the other starters on route 101. In the lab there re also 2 stairs that can lead you to Ho-Oh and Luiga. Lastly there is a new cave near Mahville and Slateport that you can catch the other legandaries at Level 100.
Pokémon levels: The only time levels are messed with are the starters in route 101 now at levels 2-4 like regular wild Pokémon. Also the other legandaries are level 70 or 80-100. Should you play it: Yes. Plot: The same as Pokémon Emerald. Other: Some water patches are destroyed so you can get the thing that are hidden by them. Thanks for reading!!!!!! While I'm waiting for the installation to install (again) I decided to make this thread.
You see this game already got a remake Fire Red, but that was for the Game Boy Advanced. I think that since Pokémon is for the 3DS that they should make this for the 3DS or at least the DS. You see it would be nice to see the game in 3D, so I think it should. The only bad side is that if Nintendo did this then they might hold back a Ruby and Sapphire remake (which would be awesome). Then again, they would have to remake Gold and Silver again, and THEN they would get to Ruby and Sapphire. So I guess anyway you look at it a SEQUAL would be the way to go! Just think about it. They could make Kanto in 3D while at the same time make the Ruby and Sapphire remakes! There were many things that only this game has. 1st is the whole Giovanni is the 8th GYM Leader. Then there is the whole Blue/Gary/What ever being the champ. Then there is the fact that until X and Y the EXP share only this and Blue (and Yellow I think) had the EXP share give ALL your Pokémon a share. So that's all for now! I love this game!
