To maximize stats efficiently, try beating the game (Kefka's tower) with the lowest level possible (Possibly at level 35-40). Now ,after doing it, try equipping an esper that either gives +2 strength, +2 magic or +2 speed (Cactuar is the only one to do this). Don't bother equipping espers that boosts HP and MP because you won't, if you are willing to follow all of the steps but if not, then go because this takes very long. Level everyone (Excluding Gogo and Umaro) to level 99. A good way to do this is to go to the dinosaur's forest and equip everyone with a growth egg but personally, I only take one character. It depends on you. Now after doing this, be sure to follow EVERY SINGLE STEP that I say.

Save and quicksave your game. Start a new game. Navigate through the game WITHOUT SAVING. Pressing F2 is fine. Just don't save the game. Do this until you have everyone (Terra until the part where YOU CAN control Relm and Strago). Personally, I don't bring Gogo and Umaro because they can't equip espers. Now, kill everyone in your party. If you did this right, everyone should be at the level where you killed yourself. Level them again to level 99 and you can be ready to fight dragon's den, without much of a challenge.

Is the game creepy? I really want to give it a try but nah... too scared. Would you recommend the game (To players)?
Just read a lot of creepypastas.

Welcome to this review made by DanielFantasyVI! This review will cover the whole game itself and its aspects. I am fairly strict when it comes to giving scores to games. Usually, If I give a 6 or 7 to the game, that means that the game is good. If you have seen my review in Pokémon Emerald and compared it with this one, you'll notice that my scores given to this game are fairly higher compared to that game. Why I have given scores like that will be thoroughly explained in each section that I will make. Before I forget, much of the review comments are opinionated so please, do not comment anything harsh because all of us have different opinion regards the game. So, here is the review.

Graphics-8

Well, compared to the other games in the same generation (Ruby, Emerald, Sapphire), this game has better graphics (for me). Why? Well, it has striking colors (especially that all of the towns or cities there are related to colors). That is pretty much it. For anyone asking why I have given an 8 only is because I have seen many games that has better graphics and virtuosity but this does not mean that this game has bad graphics (Don't take things seriously ). In fact, the graphics of this game is quite good so it is not really much of a big deal.  A little more refine to the graphics then it will become WAY better.

Sound-7

There's nothing much that I can put in this section. All I can say is I like the sound because it is some sort of refreshing. The sounds of the music is well-composed and there is nothing faulty about Pokémon cries. That is pretty much it.

Addictiveness-7

When it comes to game addictiveness, this game is worthy to be played at by the same player twice or thrice. I mean it is addicting but it is not worthy to be played at a lot of times. Well, this game is addicting because compared to Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald, this game is fairly longer, along with LeafGreen. But, it is not utterly longer but oh well. At least you can have longer fun with this game.

Story-5

And this is where I get to become very strict, the story. What this game needs is a bit of action and destruction. This is the one fair thing that I am looking at RPGs. I mean there is an antagonist, yes but they lack evilness. I want that one thing that could REALLY change the world, change people's lives forever and it is up to you to at least restore everything back. So, (No offense) that is why I have given a low 5 in its storyline. Oh by the way, correct me if I'm wrong because it has been a while that I have last played the game but this is what I pretty much remember.

Depth-8

Yet again, compared to the other games in the 3rd Generation, it has a longer story and (I think) more Pokémon because of the addition of  one island, two island, three island and etc. Well, better a bit longer than nothing  . If only this game was a bit longer, then it could have been one of the best for me. Well, I guess that is pretty much it.

Difficulty-5

When it comes to controls, there is no problem because controls in the GBA are reasonably easy (well, for me because I have been using it for a long time) but for the game, I'd say it is mediocre. I can beat the game for like 2 days or 3 days at most. I would have given a lower grade if it wasn't for the islands. Pokémon with higher levels kinda made the score of difficulty higher.

OVERALL-8.3

Overall, this is a good game, I'd say. It has *almost* everything that I expected from a Pokémon game. Here are a few comments to summarize my whole review:
1.) Add a little more refine to the graphics
2.) Add destruction
3.) Make the game a little bit longer (Wish come true)
4.) A bit more of level gaps between Pokémon

This is the end of my review, if there are any questions or suggestions, feel free to comment or send a private message to me (DanielFantasyVI).

Pokémon Platinum on GBA? No, but this simply is one of the best Pokémon game I have ever played. What is out standing is IT IS ON GAME BOY ADVANCE. Yeah! You heard me right. So, this review will cover almost everything in the game (Graphics, sound, etc.). I may put some negative comments about the game but I will also put on its advantages. I am also fairly strict when it comes to the grades. Personally, if I given a 6 or 7 to the game, it means that is good and I like it. Please do not comment anything harsh because ALL of these are purely opinionated. Let's start!

Graphics-9

Personally, I would have given a perfect 10 when it comes to the graphics. Who would expect these kinds of graphics displayed on a Game Boy Advance. No kidding. But, I have noticed a few graphical issues but no worries. They don't really affect the game play. I like almost everything in this game's graphics as it is like of Platinum, Pearl, and Diamond. The striking colors also caught my eye. Overall, the graphics of this game is very outstanding and is utterly well-done.

Sound-7

Even though the music and sounds mostly came from hoenn (excluding cries of many Pokémon), it still has great music. The music is soothing and its genre is one of my favorites. I still love the Classics . I would have rated a way higher grade (Possible 8 or 9) but I have noticed some errors regarding the cries of some Pokémon. I perfectly understand that creating a game like this is hard, especially for me who does not know anything about stuff like these so I gave a higher grade. It was supposed to be 6 but I changed my mind. Anyways, the sounds of this game is still pretty good.

Addictiveness-9

Now, compared to the other Pokémon games, this is addicting because it features a wide array of Pokémon, a lot of locations, a lot of quests and a long story. These are what I'm looking for if I want to play it again. Come on! Who would get addicted to a game with a short story and bad graphics? I guess a tiny minority of people will. Anyways, it actually took me 4 days to finish the first half of the game. It is perfectly challenging which got me addicted to the game. I may have a different insight to the game but all of the things I said is pretty much my opinion regards the game.

Story-8

Like what I said previously, it has a long story. I wont spoil any of the game's contents so it is up to you to find out.

Depth-9

The game has an awful lot of things to offer. An awful lot. As I said, it has a large array of Pokémon, a lot of locations, a lot of quests and a long story. What's more is that the Pokémon there have a wide gap between levels which really gives a large boost when it comes to the challenge that the game has. You have to put a lot of time and effort to this game and patience is the key. It also gives you a lot to do. Again, I won't spoil anything to you . Overall, this game is a marvel. I encourage everyone to try it out.

Difficulty-7

Like what I stated a while ago in this review, this game takes a lot of time to beat because it is challenging. I mean the controls are easy but the game itself is hard. It took me a lot of time to get the hang of this game because it has a lot of things to do and there is a wide gap of Pokémon levels. You could also get confused. But, even though the game is hard, this game surely is a marvel. That is all that I have to say.

Overall-9.4

This game truly is a piece of art. Even though there are some minor glitches here and there, this game is TOTALLY worth the time and effort. My only comment for the game is to fix some bugs and glitches but it doesn't really matter,

This is the end of my review. If you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to reply to this post or send a private message to me (DanielFantasyVI). I will try to answer everything the best I could. Thank you for reading this review. :

Hi! So I am near Elite 4 right now. I am in victory road. So, I was surfing at the water then I used Dive. I am underwater now. I try resurfacing at the "darker" portions of the sea so when I resurfaced, I got surprised when I suddenly resurfaced without the lapras sprite thingy. What's more is I was already outside the border of the game. Don't worry. It is fixable when you dive again underwater and resurface at the right areas but it was surely annoying. IT almost gave me a heart attack because I thought that I needed to restart the whole game over again, especially that I put a lot of time.

Has anyone experienced the same glitch too? Please reply or send a Private message. Thank you.

I have finished the game. I am also a Pokémon fan.

@OrdannonsX, You said that their actions *almost* caused the destruction of the planet. The word almost there signifies an uncertainty. It partly happened though when it started raining heavily and sun shining very brightly in some parts of Hoenn but that is pretty much it.

I am also a Final Fantasy fan so sorry if I become too "insensitive" when it comes to the meaning of destruction. I have seen a lot more better things than raining heavily like in Final Fantasy VI.

(Spoiler Alert)
In Final Fantasy VI, Kefka changed the world into a world of ruin and killed a lot of people. That is pretty much what I like in Pokémon. As long as there is something that happen that CHANGES the world, not ALMOST CHANGES the world.
(Spoiler End)

For the Battle Frontier, the levels of the Pokémon are the same with the highest-leveled Pokémon that you have so If you don't have a Lvl100 Pokémon that you stated, there wouldn't be much of a challenge.

Cyan? Seriously? Cyan is like the worst mage in the game, well, except if you train him with an esper that boosts magic.
For sabin, try learning the Phantom Rush (Bum Rush or whatsoever). I am not used with the SNES names.
For Edgar, Flash is also good, especially if the enemies have high defense.

This is a Final Fantasy V Review by DanielFantasy VI. I will frequently put some comments and recommendations for this game. Also, I am fairly strict when it comes to rating games. Actually, when I rate a 6, that would be pretty high. The review would purely be opinionated so please do not comment anything bad if you are against me.

Graphics - 6

Personally, the graphics are not so good. I mean  I have seen a lot of Super Nintendo Games (SNES) that have better graphics, especially its sequel, Final Fantasy VI (Please don't be offended). What I like for this game to be better is a refine to the graphics for a better game play and also, I like a refine to the graphics of the enemies. That's all.

Sound - 7

The sound is great, compared to other games in the system. The creators did a very well job in the sound and they tried hard to at least make it realistic. Although the sound is somewhat "robotic," it is fine for me. There is nothing in particular bad about the sound or music, in fact, I like the sound and music because its genre is one of my likes. I will not be a spoiler so try listening to the music itself and see.

Addictiveness - 8

The game is very addicting, along with the other Final Fantasy games. It is fun, especially with its Job System which lets you assign specific jobs to a character. Each job has specific skills and advantages, along with disadvantages. I will not spoil the names so try finding out. Also, despite its conditions, it is a fun game because there is destruction and evil in this game which is pretty much what you expect in most RPGs like this. I recommend this game and its GBA (Game Boy Advance) version to all future RPG players out there. Give it a try and show me what you feel.

Story - 7

The story is actually great. It has destruction and evil in it (which I am not going to spoil to you readers). It is also fairly long and thorough. It could actually affect the player's emotion. There is one particular event that affected me in the game itself.

Depth - 7

The game offers a lot of things like adventure, lots of enemies, a lot of jobs, a lot of bosses and an evil antagonist. This game can give you a new gaming experience, even though it is just in Super Nintendo. AS I said a while ago, the game is fairly long and could take some time. Patience is the key to finishing the game. There are also secrets in the game, which is up to you to find out. Overall, the game features a lot and is a must try for players.

Difficulty - 6

The controls are pretty easy if you have tried using the SNES before but if not, this could be a challenge but trust me, you'll get used to the controls the game has. The game itself is not also hard but without the right strategy or tactic, you might want to grind some levels and give another shot. Overall, the game is easy if you are used to the controls and if you know the strategy specific for an enemy.

Overall - 7.7

Overall, this game is very good (even though it is just 7.7). Here is my one comment for the game:

1.) Make the graphics better

This is a Pokémon Emerald Review by DanielFantasyVI. I am fairly strict when it comes to the details of the game so my scores for this would be a bit lower than the average. I will rate each field and put why I have given that grade to that specific field. Also, I will put on recommendations, criticisms and some advantages of the game. Please do not comment anything against my opinion because this review is purely opinionated.

Graphics - 7

Honestly, this game's graphics is a bit bad, personally. The game's graphics is just average. There is nothing in particular that catches my eye or whatsoever. The creators should have put more detail and contrast in it. In this way, they could give as a better gaming experience and a whole new level in gaming. I perfectly understand that this is in Game Boy Advance but seriously, I prefer playing the hacks like Flora Sky, Platinum, and Light Platinum when it comes to graphics because the creators of these games put so much effort to it (I understand that programming and creating a game is hard and tedious) but a nice touch to the graphics would perfectly make the game better.

Sound - 8

The sound is pretty good for me. It perfectly matches the game's background and the nature. There is nothing in particular that is bad about the sounds, in fact, I like it. There is no weird sound or sounds that is bad to the ear. Sometimes, I listen to it using Youtube when I'm doing some schoolwork. Overall, the game's sound is nice and good. There is no need to edit the sounds in the game because for me, they are fine.

Addictiveness - 6

When it comes to addictiveness, this game doesn't quite meet the standards for me. Come on, all you just have to do is beat trainers and gym leaders and just level up your Pokémon by just repeatedly walking to the grass. The Pokémon's are cute though which somewhat boosted the addictiveness level. But, when you just base it on the fun that you have and the things you get to do, I could have rated this 2 or 3. The game is limited and there are only a few things that you get to do compared to other games.

Story - 4

There is nothing that much that interests me in the storyline. You are just an aspiring trainer dreaming to be the champion and catch all the Pokémon specific in that region. There is nothing that is lets say "exciting" or "mysterious." So, when you played this game for a while, you will pretty much get bored of this game. Personally, I have gone bored and tired of the game. What's more is the game is fairly short. I really wished that it was longer, had a lot of locations and cities and the thing that I'm looking for: Evil and Destruction.

Depth - 5

The game doesn't have a lot to offer. It only has a few. As I said in the previous paragraphs, the game is fairly short and you only have a few things to do in the game. This game is starting to get more boring by the minute as the game continues. I really wished that the game was longer and features 2 regions like HeartGold and SoulSilver. That way, it'll take longer. I even finished the game in 1 day. Overall, the game doesn't have a lot to offer and takes a little time to beat.

Difficulty - 2

When it comes to the controls, this game is easy. I guess you don't need an instruction manual for this (I didn't). When it comes to the whole game itself (story, battles, etc.), this game is VERY easy. I really need that they'll increase the levels of the pokemons of the trainers or the wild pokemons so that way, it'll become a challenge. This game needs a boost to its overall difficulty and for me, that is one of the many ways to do it.

Overall - 6.3

Overall, I rated this game 6.3. These are my comments and recommendations for the game:

1.) The game is too easy. A nice boost to the levels of pokemons will be great.
2.) The game is short. More locations and areas, please.
3.) Add destruction so it will not be that boring.
4.) Other than increasing the levels of the pokemons, make the game harder, AND longer.
5.) Try increasing the population of people and make houses larger. I feel very uncomfortable with it.
6.) Put a refine to the graphics (like what other hacks of the game did)

Final Fantasy VI, without a doubt is the best Final Fantasy game Square Enix has to offer. Despite the new Final Fantasy Games that is being released at the moment, Final Fantasy VI has a lot of great stuff that those games can't imitate. It has great graphics compared to most Game boy Advance games and has a fantastic storyline. This game, for me is highly recommendable for those seeking to be a RPG player or addict in the future. Also, this game is fun, even as a kid.

Personally, I played and finished this game 5 times since when my dad bought it (I was about 5 years old back then) and I'm planning to repeat finish it again and again because it is not boring like other games. It is very fun and exciting, even if you know what will happen next.

The graphics for me is very outstanding because of the 3-dimensional effect that it gives. The enemies are realistic and the characters portrait are nice. Compared to other games, this has better game and is "one-off" among the other games in this game system.

The sound is almost perfect, I'd say. Even though most are classical and played by the orchestra, the sound, especially the music is great and soothing. Usually, I'd open this game and turn on the music player. Then, I'd play The Dancing Mad Tier - Part 3. I love on repeating it again and again because I, myself is a musician. Actually, I know how to play that but I only play it seldom because it is too complex and hard. It often tires my hands. The composers should have been very gifted in music composing those compositions.

It is also so addicting. As stated in the previous paragraphs, I played this game numerous times and listen to its music again and again. This game is so addicting and I encourage players to try this game on for size.

The story is also stupendous. Some scenes are very emotional and it affects the player's emotion. At one point, you'd think the game is finished but actually, it is just 1/4 of the game (Players, perhaps you know this scene already. I'm not going to be a spoiler. The game takes some time to beat. On average (From start to finishing the final dungeon), It takes me 2 weeks to finish the whole storyline which makes this game great for future RPG players.

The game is very big, as I stated in the previous paragraphs. It takes a while to finish the game and to get to know the things in the game that every players must. The game is shrouded in mysteries, too. Sometimes, you just get puzzled on the identity of the characters (Players, perhaps you know the 2 that I'm talking about). Also, the controls are easy and you can easily get the hang of it. I rated it a bit high because of the bosses. Actually, to be honest, It took me an AWFUL lot of time at the 4th boss. I actually diminished ALL of his HP instead of typing a combination but past is past. I know almost everything the game has.

Overall, Final Fantasy VI is a great game that everyone has to play.

Hi! Mario Kart COULD have been the best racing game ever if it weren't for the glitches I encountered. First, I didn't notice those glitches until they started affecting my game play. This is so sickening and sad. These glitches are pretty much extremely annoying, especially for my part.
Here are some of the very many glitches that I encountered (that I can remember):

1.) I got a star power up (where it makes you a bit faster and invincible). I drowned at the beach then the game froze.
2.) I got hit by a bat at the Bow ser castle and the graphics starts on bugging out.
3.) I tried using the golden mushroom but it won't work.
4.) I stepped on two bananas but I didn't swirl like it should.
5.) One time I picked Yoshi but when I started the race, I found out that I was controlling Peach.

Anyone experienced these glitches/bugs? (Sorry, I use them interchangeably) Please help. I'm not playing Mario Kart 64 anymore because of these things that affect my game play. This is so sickening...

You need to trade it for it to evolve. That is what I remember. Not sure. Not a Gen 5 fan.

Hi. This is my First thread.

This thread will teach the valuable mechanics, to do list, and answers some commonly asked questions. Let's start.

Commonly Asked Questions:
1.) What is/are the  most useful relic/s in the game and how do you get it?
-For me, I'd say the Master's Scroll, Soul of Thamasa, Celestriad and the Ribbon. Master's Scroll is very useful because this let's you use 4 somewhat weaker attacks in a turn! Pair this with a Genji Glove and you can do 8 attacks! You can get this by defeating SamuraiSoul in the Ancient Castle. Now, the Soul of Thamasa changes Magic into Dualcast, which lets you cast 2 magics in One Turn and can be found at the top of Cultist's Tower! This may use a lot of MP but there's this one relic that can help you out, the Celestriad. The Celestriad let's you use all spells, lores, and summons for a whooping.......wait for it........ 1 MP. This is not a typo. It's 1 MP. Can you just believe it? But, you can get it either by defeating one of the strongest enemies in the game, the Brachiosaurs as a rare drop in the Dinosaur Forest, or if you want to wait, the Dragon's Den. The 3 items can also be stolen from Glutturns in the Soul Shrine (depends on Color). And the last, but not the least is the ribbon. The ribbon negates all status effects and is almost mandatory to many bosses in the game. You can also steal it from Brachiosaurs (again) and  find it in South Figaro.

2.) How many Shadow's Dream are there?
-I only saw 5 but according to Square Enix, there were 7. Try sleeping with shadow in Inns multiple times and maybe you can find the other 2.

3.) What is the difference between the SNES and GBA version of FF6?
-The main difference is that the GBA has Dragon's Den and Soul Shrine while SNES doesn't. GBA has also better graphics, and sounds (For me) and some enemy names were different between the two versions.

4.) Can you still bring shadow to the World of Ruin after the Floating Continent?
-Sure. After getting to the edge of the Floating Continent during the escape part, don't directly jump to the Airship. Wait for shadow. He'll appear when the timer reaches 0:05 and both him and the party will jump to the airship.

5.) Which is better, the Ragnarok Esper or the Ragnarok Sword?
- For me, it's the esper. It teaches you Ultima, the ultimate spell of the game. Don't choose the sword. You can steal it at the final battle. There are other stronger swords besides the Ragnarok.

6.) What are the other espers acquires at the World of Ruin?
- Here, I'll give you a list and where it it located:

Bahamut- Received after defeating Deathgaze (Fly the airship around the world for him to be encountered and may be encountered multiple times until dead.)
Phoenix- Received directly after Locke revives her Girlfriend (lol). Cutscene is triggered after the party finds him at Phoenix cave.
Midgardsormr- Find in Umaro's cave, inspect bone carving.
Lakshmi- Find in bookshelf in Owzer's Mansion
Seraph- Buy in Tzen from a thief at the Northeastern part of the town (hidden) for 3000gil in WoB or 10gil in WoR.
Ragnarok- Find in Narshe with Locke in team. It's located in the weapon shop from a man in it.
Quetzalli- Recieved in the Solitary Island, after gaining access to the Falcon.
Odin/Raiden- Touch Odin's remains in the Ancient Castle. Touch Queen's Remains while possession of Odin's Magicite
Alexander- Throne room of Doma Castle after escaping the Dreamscape
Golem- Jidoor Auction. Bet 20,000 gil. (Possible in WoB)
Zona Seeker- Jidoor Auction. Bet 10,00 gil. (Possible in WoB)
Crusader- Recieved automatically after defeating all 8 dragons.
Valigarmanda- Narshe. Still in the same place where you saw it in Narshe (The Cliffs)

GBA exclusive:
Gilgamesh- Defeat Gilgamesh in Dragon's Neck Coliseum after betting Excalipoor, which can be bought in the Jidoor Auction for 500,000 gil.
Leviathan- Ship travel from Nikeah to South Figaro or Vice Versa. Defeat Leviathan in this case.
Cactuar- Defeat Gigantuar, which can be battled after defeating 10 cactuars in the Desert south of Maranda. Tile-specific (can be fought in a certain tile in that desert
Diabolos- Defeat Kaiser Dragon in Dragon's Den

7.) How can you find Gogo and Umaro?
- Gogo is in the Zone Eater's belly (Eww...) while Umaro is in the Umaro's Cave (Accessed only after defeating Valigarmanda in Narshe) after  getting esper Midgardsormr in Bone Carving.
