I swear my 3DS XL came with an AC adapter when I got it, though that was at launch back in August 2012. Maybe that's changed now, but I really doubt it. And even if it didn't come with one, it's easy to just order one from Nintendo's online store. They're like no more than $10. If you have big hands, don't get the original 3DS. It's as big as the DS Lite, which is to say it's freaking tiny. The 3DS XL isn't that big after you get used to it, With the screen shut it's about as big as an iPhone 6 Plus. I don't have much experience with the 2DS, but apparently the wedge shape is comfortable and it's more durable because there's no hinge. But, mono speakers only and no 3D. If you really care about the 3D, you could maybe wait a few months for the New 3DS's to come out. They're supposed to have MUCH better 3D, and a better processor that will support some exclusive games. If you have big hands, don't get the original 3DS. Nothing really changes, other than no longer having to lie about your age when signing up for accounts, lol.
The real stuff happens around the time you turn 16. You'll start taking driving lessons, maybe get your first job, and as college comes closer and closer you're gonna have to start thinking where you want to go. That's what I'm going through right now. All I can really say for right now, is: Stay away from drugs and alcohol. At all costs. Please. And, don't really bother looking for a boyfriend or girlfriend at your age, and don't feel bad if you don't have one. Middle school "dating" is a gigantic waste of time. I wouldn't go far back at all, because I wouldn't want to screw up anything. You know what they say about butterflies. I would go back to around when I started middle school, and tell myself to be more outgoing and don't let insults get to you. I was bullied a lot during my middle school years, it really affected my confidence and self esteem, and I lost a lot of my good friends. Even now as a sophomore I have trouble making friends or even talking to people I don't know, because I'm worried how they will respond. I've never had any alcohol in my life, being that I'm 14, so that would be normal for my age (I hope!) For the time being I have no plans to drink, though at such a young age things like that won't always be set in stone. Judging from how it usually turns people into complete doofuses (and can even cost lives), and due to some personal events I won't go into further detail about, the prospect of drinking isn't really appealing to me right now. Well, I wouldn't say I'm "nocturnal", so to speak. But during the summer, my biological clock goes WAY out of sync, and most of the time I end up staying up until 3:00 in the morning, and waking up between noon and 2 PM. It's starting to really bother my parents! |

In all honesty, I despise Chinese food. I think it is absolutely disgusting. But to be fair, I am a very picky eater and I have always been accustomed to American foods. Either way, I wouldn't touch it with a 20-foot pole. |

I actually own a Samsung Chromebook myself, and I can say that it is definitely a good OS for people who spend most of their computer time on the Internet, but if you need to do actual work, you should probably look elsewhere. The Chromebook definitely does it's job well as an inexpensive, lightweight, stylish "Internet machine" for browsing Facebook, Youtube, etc. I use it very frequently, as I own a smartphone, but I hate using touch screens, especially when browsing the Web on one. |

Just FYI, the "computers" you speak of are meant to be referred to as desktops. Laptops and desktops are both computers. I choose to use a desktop more frequently than laptops, due to them being more reliable, more upgradeable, easier to repair, and you get the ability to customize nearly every aspect of the computer's hardware. However, laptops are obviously much more practical when you are on the go, so I use them occasionally, such as when I am on a vacation. It depends on what kind of processor your computer has. If it was manufactured in the last 4 years, it most likely has a 64-bit processor. The advantages of using a 64-bit operating system is that you can use more than 4 GB of RAM, and you will get a slight speed boost when you use 64-bit software. Seeing as you only have 2 GB of RAM, switching to a 64-bit operating system won't change anything in that regard. Still, personally, I would recommend you get the 64-bit version of Windows 7, as developers are moving away from the 32-bit architecture, and less and less programs will support it as time goes on. |

Well, when I was a child, the oldest (and only) computer we had was a Dell Dimension desktop, which had Windows ME, and probably a Pentium 3 processor. I know people say lots of bad things about Windows ME, but it really wasn't that bad, from my experience at least. I never had any Blue Screens of Death, all my programs and games worked, and it did everything I needed. We used that computer from around 2000 to 2006, believe it or not. Our next computer was another Dell Dimension, this time with Windows XP Media Center Edition, which is still hooked up in the basement and is now my brother's computer. Nothing much to say about it, other than that it was our main computer from 2006 to 2009. At that point, we purchased two Dell Inspirons, one for me, and the other for the rest of the family. (I was given my own because they were tired of me screwing up the family computer by getting viruses from a keygen program and attempting to install Ubuntu, and failing, hard.) That Dell Inspiron is my main computer nowadays, and it is the one I use right now. It's rather low-end nowadays and I'm overdue for an upgrade, which will hopefully occur in a year or two. I occasionally use the family computer when I have to work on a school project, as it is the only one with a printer hooked up to it. Wait, we were talking about old computers? Oh jeez, sorry. I got a little off topic. But I still have some more to say, that is, if you even care by this point... One of my most active (and strangest) hobbies is collecting and using old computers. Most of my old computers are laptops from the mid to late 1990's. Two of them are Toshiba laptops, and the other two are Apple iBooks, aka the consumer laptops Apple made before the switch to Intel processors in 2006. My Toshiba laptops are a Satellite Pro 425CDT and Satellite Pro 490CDT, respectively. The 425CDT has a 100 MHz Pentium processor and 40 MB of RAM, but sadly, the LCD display does not work. It's been gutted out and I've left it sitting in case I need parts from it for my 490CDT. Speaking of which, the 490CDT is a recent purchase, and it has a 266 MHz Pentium II processor and 96 MB of RAM. It had Windows 2000 when I bought it, but it was slow as molasses, so I downgraded it to it's original OS, Windows 95 OSR2, using the factory restore disk included. At the moment, it has Windows 98 SE. I use this laptop to play old 1990's era DOS and Windows games. It can even browse the Web, using a PCMCIA wireless card I bought. It's slow, as you'd expect, but still quite a feat for a laptop of this age. As for the iBooks, one of them is an iBook G3 with a 500 MHz PowerPC processor and around 340 MB of RAM. It has a broken hinge and screen, though, and I'm only keeping it around for parts at this point. The other iBook is an iBook G4 with a 1.33 GHz PowerPC processor and 1.5 GB of RAM. It is one of my main laptops, and I use it to browse the Web, watch YouTube videos, play classic games using emulators, and some other Mac-related stuff. Wait, we were talking about old computers? Alright, I think I win the "shortest person in the thread" award. I'm 14, male, about to enter high school, and I am exactly 5'0". I am the shortest guy in my grade, and tons of people make fun of me for it. Not to mention, my voice sounds like Mickey Mouse inhaling helium. But thankfully it won't be like this forever, because my brother is 18 and is currently 5'10", and my height growth has matched with his so far. 5'10" is still a little short, but at least I won't be an oompa-loompa. I try to be as nice as I can to people of all kinds. But if a person decides to insult me multiple times or bully me physically, I ignore them and stay as far away as I can. I don't want them to bring me down to their level. |

Hello and welcome to Vizzed, fellow gamer! I love classic 80's computer games as well, even though I was never even born in those days to experience them. Should you need help on any other matters, you may consult the FAQ and Help Center, located in your Control Panel. I tried figuring out why you couldn't play Xyphus, but my efforts were unfortunately fruitless (either the game freezes at the "create new disk or continue" screen, or I'm unable to insert the "scenario" disk once I'm done creating my characters). You may have to try downloading an Apple II emulator and the ROM for Xyphus online. I assume you're using Windows, so you should use this emulator here: http://applewin.berlios.de/ (I cannot make links yet, so you'll have to copy it to your address bar, sorry :C). Now, linking to the ROM directly might be stepping into murky water, so I'll just say that you can download the ROM by Googling "xyphus" and clicking the fourth result. 0, and I do not see that number changing anytime soon. Not like I'm mad though. In all honesty, I feel I'm not mature enough to begin a true relationship yet. Hopefully my luck will change once I enter high school, which will occur in a few months. |

I use Google as my default search engine. Heck, I even own and endorse their computer brand, browser, and smartphone operating system. I don't know anybody else who doesn't use Google, and for good reason. Google gives me the best results and deeply integrates many of my most used websites (Youtube, Gmail, etc.) |

I try my best not to swear, as I believe it is a sign of immaturity, but sometimes a bad word just happens to slip out of my mouth, usually when I'm angry. At the very least I'm not one of those kids who inserts a swear word or some kind of sexual slur into every single sentence that comes out of their stupid little mouth, and unfortunately, that accurately describes the vast majority of kids in my school and in the town where I live. This is why I frequent Internet forums, as they are a great place to converse with like-minded people. |
