The game had very good graphics for it's time. Overall this one of the most amazing games I have ever played. It has a very unique RPG combat system that is almost similar to Final Fantasy and a lot of strategy is needed because you get the ability to move around and evade attacks on the character's turn because when you get in to a battle, you are placed on a 3D platform in which your character moves around on. The battle system is also very time based n which you have to take into account the wait time, the action time, and the movement time making it a very complex and interesting battle system.  Grandia 2 also has a really good sound track and really sets the mood and a little bit of insight to the area you're in and the battle music is so catchy. If you are a fan of the music in the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, you would love the music put in Grandia 2 because the same guy who composed the Phoenix Wright's extravagant music composed for Grandia 2. The game is very lengthy, I believe the first time I played it; it took me about 20-23 hours to beat because at times you are not strong to beat the boss of the area. The battles are one of the things that makes this game lengthy but also the story. It has such a great story, in which I would love to tell but spoilers. It general it starts of with a selfish character and as the story goes on with the huge conflicts and plot twist the character grows up. Within the story, there are a lot of abstract lessons you can learn from the game with main one being about religion. Difficulty wise it is moderate because of the battle system and the monsters get really hard to beat later in the game and the main bosses of the story are also very hard to beat and sometimes so many things come at you and you end up dying in 5 turns if not prepared. Overall it is a very good game, I highly recommend playing this game and this game does not get the publicity it need because I believe this game is simply superb but a lot people look over this game and not try it.
