Now, the power-up will always be in franchises such as Mario. We all know the Fire Flower, we all know the Frog suit (except for twelve year olds). And we all know the Raccoon leaf.
Mario power-ups are always the most well-known for being absolutely awesome (except for that bloody poison mushroom) whether they make you throw projectiles like fire or snow, make you FLLLLYYYYYY or just make you say, "TASTE THE RAINBOW (SKITTLES)!"
My question is. what are your favourite power-ups in the Mario franchise?

(and yes, I am aware that this didn't use many words. I couldn't think of much. Oh, yeah, and stop saying on every review I make that it's my first, my first one was the Killer Instinct one.)

There are some very lost games, ones that it's been THIRTEEN goshdarn YEARS SINCE BLOOD 2 CAME OUT AND I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE THE FIRST ONE! Oh, anyways, I'd like to know what game series you'd like to get come back because really, we do need a third blood, and a new Earthbound, AND A NEW BUSHIDO BLADE! and not to mention, a new Bio F.R.E.A.K.S.

So what are some games that you think need comebacks (Dammit CAPCOM when is there going to be a third Power STONE!)

Before this review, I'd like to thank Caddicarus for introducing this to everyone (He's on youtube, not this site). Without him, I would have never played this.

Nightmare creatures is a action hack/slash/shoot on the N64 and the Playstaion and boy, is it underrated.
The thing is, this was made by Kalisto Entertainment. The same guys who made the game based on The Fifth Element which was a HORRIBLE mess. Which is a bad sign.

GRAPHICS-9
For the N64 and the PlayStation, this looks great! The landscape sticks to the Gothic horror theme, the violence looks, well, violent and
the only problem is, the PlayStation port has everybody's favorite thing about the PlayStation: FMV. But the FMV can't look too bad, right?
Compared to something like the first Tekken? But we're talking about the N64 port. And also, I haven't encountered moments where textures got mixed with other things.

SOUND-8
The monsters sounds and looks, big or small, make them more of a threat and even the monster itself. Guns sound powerful and the sound effects get you blown away (especially gun sounds.)!

ADDICTIVENESS-10
I come back playing a lot of times, you can't deny that! The game puts you as either Ignatius Backward (possibly the best name of all time) or Nadius Franciscus against Adam Crowley, an alchemist and leader of the Brotherhood of Hectate.
This game is loads of fun to play, Ignatius cuts zombies in half WITH A STICK! You have some of the best uses of the guns, the combat is just perfect (starts off clunky but GET USED TO IT YOU TWAT!).

STORY:7
This game is set in the year, 1834, where monster sightings occur all over the place, but please, blame that on Adam Crowley.
Ignatius receives a letter which turns out to be the lost diary from Samuel Pepys, containing research from the Brotherhood.
It turns out it's been renowned by Dr. Jean Franciscus who shows up with his daughter Nadius. Jean gets murdered and well, Adam must be stopped, I guess. Pretty good story, but most of the time, I'm not about that.

DEPTH-9
This game gives you so much! The combat consists of triple kicks, Spreading bullets from two triple-barrelled revolver's all over the place, knocking a zombie's head off with a Bo staff and having some of the most badass equipment!

DIFFICULTY-7
This game's bets pretty hard at times. Especially when some giant......blue....thing comes in and they just have a contest on who blocks the most (no need to worry, it happens in fighting games as well) so yeah.....it's pretty hard.

Overall, this gets my score 9.3 out of 10
Oh, and it doesn't work well on this sight so I recommend getting on Project 64 or something.
But it'd seem like a very bad sign seeming it was made by the same people that made The Fifth Element on the PlayStation, one of the worst games of all time.

People need to stop thinking every review is my first! If you look at my profile, I have actually done 4 others. My first one was Killer Instinct.

So stop saying at every one of my reviews that it's my first!

Power Stone 2 was the sequel to Power Stone. So for those who aren't familiar with Power Stone, Power Stone is a 3D fighting game series by Capcom (no wonder it's so good. You know, those guys don't screw up much.) where instead of back-forward-sidestep-attack-jump, instead you can move freely around, you can pick up weapons like an inflatable hammer, a three-barreled gun and you can throw objects at each other.

Graphics:9-They are quite impressive but it was on the Dreamcast which was the first 128-bit console. The way the characters look, it actually looks suitable. I mean it looks a lot better than other 128-bit games like Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance, even if it has blood or not Power Stone 2 will always look better. The animations are very smooth and the look of the power stone forms look badass (my favorite being Accel's form) so you turn into cyborg (Falcon), super saiyan.....look-alike and BANKAI! (woops! I meant fully-armoured samurai). Even the combos of the forms are badass. For example, one of Accel's is that he turns into a motorbike (Seems legit). So that's 9 points for graphics.

Sound:8- Mainly I scored this 8 because of the music it pretty good. It's just Falcon comes from U.K and still speaks Japanese and I keep on thinking, British people know Japanese?'. But other than that, the sound isn't that bad.

Addictiveness: You'll be playing this every hour of every day and you'll have no life (okay, not literally but I think you can tell I was exaggerating.) I used to play this over and over, everyday and play it for quite a long time. You just want to get to the end of the game know the endings (if there are any. I've never beaten the game before.) and it's just purely addictive so I rated 1010
Story:n/a-Sorry guys, but I don't know the storyline to this.

Depth:8-This game goes about 6-8 matches but the arena's have depth for example, one of the stages, you're in an Aztec temple where one thing you can do is throw Aztec tombs at them (They are empty), then the ground shatters so you have to fall down into this part where you're being chased by a bolder so you have to be one of the first two to get to this passage and you can also ride a skateboard in that area, then to the final part. I had to explain a lot didn't I? There's also an airship stage where in the last phase, you can ride a tank, and another there are submarines and you can go on turrets on those.

Difficulty: 7-The first boss, the Pharaoh Walker, can be a bit cheap at times (the CPU is useless at that part) and after that part, it starts to get harder.

Well, that's all for today so you can suggest what you would like me to review next. I will review any game so suggest what you like.

/spoiler
Well, I'm not sure if there is a spoiler but that's not important.
Fatalities have always been a great part of MK and it's not Mortal Kombat without fatalities.
So I made this forum post to let you say your top 3 favorite fatalities throughout the franchise. From Mortal Kombat (1992) to Mortal Kombat 9 (2011 or 2013 as Mortal Kombat: Komplete Edition in Australia).
My favorites are Reptile's Facial Surgery from Mortal Kombat 4. In which he jumps up on you then starts GNAWING OFF YOUR FACE right to your skull. Another one was Kano's skeleton pull from Mortal Kombat 3, where he puts your hand inside your mouth before pulling your whole skeleton out. Then there's Johnny Cage's Punching Bag from Shaolin Monks in which he does punches and crosses into your nuts, after that does a little boxing action into your balls then a punch to the nuts so hard that your legs just start flying off 0_o

Well, those are my favorite fatalities and I would love to hear from you guys.

Hey! Hydra is finally back! Now, before we start, I would have to say thanks for my Killer Instinct review making it featured. It really helped!
So now we should get to the review shall we?

For those who aren't familiar with the Terminator, it is an action/sci-fi movie staring Arnold Schwarzenegger which was very popular and got a sequel. Then there were games based on it and boy were most of them horrible. But there was one decent game based on the Terminator and one great arcade game based on The Terminator 2. Ladies and Gentlemen, trolls and attention desperates. This is The Terminator on SEGA CD.

For graphics, I'd give it a 5 out of ten because it looks like your average, 16-bit side-scrolling shooter. It looks kind of good but it doesn't look like a SEGA CD type. Then there's the cut-scenes. Now, movie-like graphics do look very rough on SEGA CD but this is probably the roughest looking. I usually can't see what is going on in the cut scenes (oh, and did I mention they were straight from the movie?).

Secondly, the sound's score is 9/10  because the music in game play is really kick-ass and it's the only Terminator game that uses the Terminator theme. Haaaaaaaaaa!

This game is pretty addictive so I'll give it an 8/10 because overall, it's very fun (for a movie game) and I love hearing the music plus you just want to beat the first level so I'll give the difficulty a 7/10 because let's face it, it's hard to beat. Usually I don't have time to get the level done plus I keep on getting game overs. Now on to the story which I'll give it a 6/10 which I'll guess the storyline's the same as the movie's story (plus I haven't seen the movie). The depth will be on to a 6/10 because like I said, it's like your average side scrolling shooter but you can do Jump N Shoot Man's shooting on ladders (When I said Jump N Shoot Man, I meant Mega Man) and you can throw grenades so that's a plus for the score.

So that'll be all the review for today and I'll be doing another review today so till tomorrow

Mega Man X, the game where people got back into Mega Man and begged to get this gem.

Graphics: 10

......The graphics, you cannot beat on a SNES Megaman game, the way how Sting Chameleon turns invisible, The look of Dr. Light when you get in the capsules, Zero and X himself.

Sound: 10

The sound and music just spit out Shoop Da Whoop LAZAHSSS at me, you got the music of the intro stage, when Zero comes in, and everything else with the game. Now to the sound effects. The explosions are probably the best sound, there's the iconic X Buster sound (YEAH!!!!1 LEMONS!) and the last one I love is when X says Hadouken!

Addictiveness: 8
This games pretty addictive. I always try in one day the beat the bosses, find the armour and find the heart things, I don't know what they are.
But I need to plays this more......to complete this.....to get the Hadouken and kill the Mavericks

Story: 6
Sigma, traitor of the Maverick Hunters, is trying to destroy the world so you have to kill him. But the whole storyline is sort off based on X getting stronger. To be as cool as Zero (Is he a boy or a girl).

Depth: 10
This game has many hard stages (I get it ,there's only 12 of but SHUT UP!!!) that teach you by it's design. So you don't have Roll coming up saying, MEGA MAN! MEGA MAN! YOU NEED TO WALL JUMP TO GE-Shut your mouth! I don't need you!

Difficulty: 8
...This game's hard as trying to climb to the roof of your house without a ladder! I can't even defeat a Meverick (I'm 12 years old, OK!)
But you are not a master until you get the Hadouken in I'm not telling you where it is (because you might already know)

Controls: 10
The game has tight controls, just like the Megaman Classic games. Megaman X's movement is a lot like it, you don't always have to worry about sliding too much, and the wall jumping is a lot like in Super Meat Boy (but without having to slide down a wall too much).

OVERALL: 10
Just think about what Arin said in Sequelitus: Mega Man Classic VS Mega Man X.

Super Mario 64 on N64 Get N or Get Out!

Again! It's Hydra HuntersLOL again with another review, so I'm thinking of doing a review at least once a week. But anyways, on with this

Graphics: 7
Back then (12 years old, so I wouldn't know this) people (including you , James) were like OH MY GOD!! OH MY GOD!!! OH MY GOD!! Over and over when they got an N64 but I think that Super Mario 64 is the best N64 game (hard choice between this and OoT) and when people saw these graphics and they would've been HOLY NOTCH! 3D!! This is awesome! And it was like a law back then (even to Street Fighter).
The graphics on sm64 were pretty good. Mario looks like Mario, trees aren't 3D for some reason, the paintings on the castle look great but only one downfall....Bowser doesn't really look like Bowser.

Sound: 9
The music s very catchy, the sound effects are good and I like listening to Bowser's laugh and Mario voice.
Oh and id you realize that boo's laugh is actually Bowser's laugh sped up four times.

Addictiveness: 10
TEN!!! It's so addictive, I tried dedicating my life to it, it's just amazing what Nintendo can do to make games addictive!
I could play 24/7 if I wanted to!

Story: 2
Just the same thing, save the princess from Bowser! .....how about do something like save Yoshi from R.O.B
Why can't Peach save herself

Depth:10
120 stars, 15 courses +secret courses, 9 boss battles. nuff said

difficulty:4
If you can play it like a boss and know what you're doing, it's not that hard but what's really hard is throwing Bowser to the orbs because you're accuracy isn't as good as in the DS remake (Super Mario 64 DS).

glitches: 10
Yahoo! YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAHOO!! Backwards long jumping through the endless staircase, the rabbit glitch, the black room of death, that bob-omb glitch where you throw him, pick him back up before it lands and it'll be bigger, the glitch you can do after that, the cartridge tilting glitch and .........(mind gets blown up)

controls: 10
The controls are tight, fluent and most of all, not stiff. You can do different types of jumps and well..that's enough said

Overall:10: This is THE BEST game on N64, a huge rumour from the L is Real 2401 (The playing as Luigi rumour started as an ECM joke [they're always doing tricks on you]) and that's it.

NEXT TIME, I REVIEW CONKER'S BAD FUR DAY.

Killer Instinct must have been huge at the time it came out and I'm only 11 (turning 12 so I didn't know. Killer Instinct is a fighting game based combos and my favourite, no mercies (were they on the arcade or not? Can you answer that?) your characters include Jago, T.J Combo, Orchid, Chief Thunder, Riptor, Glacius, Cinder, Fulgore, Saberwulf, Spinal and Eyedol (the final boss).

Graphics:10
Those graphic feel so good! I actually never thought the graphic would be as much different on the MAME than to the SNES port but my is going (explosion)! The graphics use the digitized art style of Mortal Kombat d the 3D arena style of Virtua Fighter. The VS screen graphics was bit I loved most

Sound:10
ITS H-Nah It's so epic, it's got it's own CD. Like Tempest 2000 on the Atari Jaguar did. Even on the SNES it sound great. The music uses guitars, and many other stuff and it amazes me The announcer is one of the best parts! Like the CccCcCombo Breaker meme (that's right it's a meme), Danger! Danger! Danger!, Humiliation, fight on and ULTRA! ULTRA! ULTRA!

Addictiveness:10
I play this every day ten times a day XD! In other words, it's so addictive, it makes WoW look like crap!
I just want to play it until the end because I'm getting that ending and I'm stopping myself from seeing those Ultra 64 ads (The Ultra 64 was what the N64 was going to be called but they changed it because there was already another console that said 'Ultra' in it. The Ultra 64 was first introduced in Killer Instinct.)!

Story:4
I'm not actually quite sure what the storyline is but I'm guessing, Eyedol is putting Ultra 64 ads all over the place while holding a fighting tournament or he'll destroy thee world.

Depth:8
It's a pretty long game, but it's simple. Beat up every character, Even yourself until you get to Eyedol. Pretty simple isn't it?

Difficulty:8 It's one of those The further you get, the harder the game gets'. But when you get to Eyedol, you're in for real raging. You'll be raging like those 6 year olds on Xbox Live (Why I own a PS3 not an Xbox 360).

Overall score: 10/10
Killer Instinct is the best fighting game since Mortal Kombat! Killer Instinct is a combo-filled game like your mind has been blown to smithereens!
