Anyone have money and interested in helping a good guy get safe and healthy?  I could pay back a lot extra in the not too distant future.  I'm not just some random guy.  Davideo7 who runs this site knows me because I designed some of the code for him over the years.

I've been so failed by the system it's ridiculous and I so need to heal and get safe.  I'm staying in my van right now so my expenses are super low, but it's hard David doesn't have any budget to pay me starting this month.  I'm down to like $300/month income  & behind on a lot of stuff such as: oil change, brake pads, smog, registration, and 2 parking tickets from when I fell asleep and the parking area closed.  It's scary I have zero places to go and am around $300 short on getting my registration current.  If I lost my van quite possibly I will just die and not be able to handle it.  Scary thinking a cop could maybe impound my home and I have no place to go and am sick dealing with chronic fatigue + other health issues.  If someone could invest in just getting me safe with this homeless type lifestyle where I can focus on health+fitness for 2 months, it will be so transformative.  

I got some exciting stuff in the works, such as with my custom remote over the internet computer support software I built, but it still needs time to be built out well.  In like a month I could have it so cool.  I already got a demo working for myself that allows webcam video chat with the person working on the computer remotely.  In addition I have other exciting software things I could do that will bring attention.  For instance I was just looking into a really cool Keepass plugin I could maybe make quick that would get a lot of attention and publicity for my remote computer help service.

Basically I'm at high risk right now over money, but with a little help surely a lot of money is just around the corner.  I'm totally happy to pay back a generous bonus.

Well trying to help gmac69 was challenging due to lagginess.  Going to keep trying to tune my software better though and hope I already did a good bit.

Great news though.  I got inspired to fix Windows XP support as that was one complaint he had, that the plugin didn't work for Windows XP.  tRIUNE reported this in the past and I just never got around to investigating far enough to fix it.  I did today though.

If anyone uses Windows XP and wants to use the plugin, here's the link to this updated version.  I expect David will make an announcement soon.

That's true you don't know if you can trust me and it's scary in general that kind of thing over the internet giving remote computer access.  Up to you.  I'm a really honest ethical guy though and God knows I've never put one line of code in the Vizzed plugin or any other software project with intention to do anything unethical.  I think it will help me a lot once I have a bunch of past customers + positive social media reviews and stuff.  RockstarComputerHelp.com is my company.  You're always welcome to watch the session when I control the computer (if I did).

I've been researching assorted PC help tools and feel pretty excited what I'll be able to offer people tuning their setups.  

I have two laptop batteries and switched to my 2nd one just a few minutes ago.  If anyone wants computer help / a tuneup today, it's best to let me know sooner rather than later as I don't know if I'll be anywhere to recharge today.

As far as how long it will take, I'm not really sure.  You mentioned thinking you might have a virus, but I woudn't count on it.  At the same time though your description was unclear to me.  I don't know what LiveSplit is and am going to have to look into things once I understand the problem.  Hoping I can fix it for you, but not really sure how long it will take.  Even just 15 minutes to see the issue you're describing could help me know better what to research online.  If we did virus/malware scans, those can take a while.  If you wanted me to do tuneup stuff for performance improvement that will add extra time.  I've had zero people so far that I've done this for and need to iron out my procedures.  I can just work with the amount of time you have free and skip extra tuning stuff if time is an issue.  For some of the first people I help I'm willing to invest 2-3+ hours free looking for ways to fix things up.  Also with some things it could be ongoing somewhat where I configure things a certain way and give you a little time (several days for instance) to evaluate if you noticed a change.

Dang, not one person came on today for help when that was the biggest thing I wanted to do today (start doing remote computer help)...

I made a note that you all were interested in free PC help service.  Added you all as friends on here.  Says 0 people online though, but I don't know if in order for me to see you online you have to mutually add me as a friend.  I'm available today interested in helping some people and am just waiting for someone online interested.  Doing some prep work though in the meantime like with research.

Thanks for the screenshot, but I'm not clear on what your issue is.  I'll review some of the more advanced ways to monitor process and system stats and can possibly try that with you soon.  You will have to let me know when you're available for that.  There are all kinds of more advanced counters that can be monitored including ones that will help identify if hard drive accesses and/or low memory causing excessive virtual memory usage are a big issue.  I could possibly rig something up for you to do as soon as you notice the problem and have it capture data for me to look at.

Not really sure.  I can review what processes your computer has running, startup items, scheduled tasks, etc.  Also I can come up with some directions for you to do if you see that again to hopefully get more insight into a cause.  Maybe like tomorrow I can figure out directions in time by.  I'm not sure what I'll get done today.

Hmmm.  It would be a lot easier to investigate if you had it in that mode where it had like 70% mem usage when idle.

I wouldn't expect you have a virus or anything.  You could try running AVG also for extra possible detection.  I really need to research more how well each program does.

I could look over your auto-start stuff in the registry, start menu, services, and scheduled tasks areas.  Running something like Seatools might be good to see if your hard drive has any issues going on, but probably not.   Maybe it could have been like Windows Update doing stuff in the background.  What OS do you run?  I can look into advice to tell you what to do if you see it show those signs again.  For instance maybe Process Explorer would be useful.

I've basically just used this site for work since I wrote the main Vizzed RGR Plugin for it for Davideo7.  I'm struggling for money and looking to start doing computer support over the internet.  So far though I've only got one customer and it was a local one not over the internet.  You could confirm with David I'm the guy who wrote the main Vizzed RGR Plugin and am trustworthy to let access your computer remotely.
For the first few people I help I will do it for free.  I need to tune my software to be ready for official launch and get familiar with assorted real world computer setups and possible issues to expect and plan for.  If the person has Paypal and feels incline to donate, it's an option, but not necessary.  You don't even have to tell me if you have a Paypal.

Let me know if you have anything in particular you need help with.  Regardless I could review your system and do a tune up + offer recommendations.  I'll ask you some assorted questions to help me better understand what people would like help with.  I'll be continuing to research more ways to tune computer performance and can keep in touch possibly doing a 2nd pass in the near future.  My remote support software is super easy to install and use.  If you like what I did, maybe you could leave a Yelp review as I currently have 0.
