A temporary fix was downgrading to the previous version of firefox. Hopefully someone with the latest version can figure out a fix!

Unfortunately, it's happened again. And this time, Firefox isn't letting me set shockwave flash to Always Active. In fact, there's no option to alter the usage of shockwave flash at all! It's like it doesn't exist anymore. Help, please!

I use Firefox. I checked the plugins section of the browser options. Turns out Shockwave Flash was set to "ask to activate." I changed it to "always active" and now everything is working again! I'll let you guys know if anything changes.

Thanks for the suggestions, fellas!

I'm not sure why, but I think something is blocking Vizzed from working for me. I think it has something to do with this message: "Vizzed plugin init script starting"

I last enjoyed Vizzed on saturday afternoon. I played the SNES version of Seiken Densetsu 3 using the mednefen emulator. Both me and my sister enjoyed the co-op RPG together, then took a rest after a while. We tried to come back and play it around 11 pm that night. But the emulator wouldn't load anymore. The box surrounding the emulator appeared correctly. But instead of the game popping up inside, a small message was displayed at the bottom of the window. "Vizzed plugin init script starting"

Thinking maybe the game could be at fault, I tried something different from the GBA section. Unfortunately it was the same result.

Then I investigated whether the mednefen emulator was the problem. I tried loading Seiken Densetsu 3 on the ZSNES emulator. Then I tried again with the 3rd emulator. I also tried using the chat versions of each emulator, just to be sure. They all failed to load the game, or any game for that matter. All the while displaying the same message at the bottom of each window. "Vizzed plugin init script starting"

I've used this website for a couple years, and tried googling it. One post that was made here some time ago recommended that I ensure the latest version of the RGR Plugin was downloaded. I was pretty sure I already had that, but I tried using the official download link, just in case. The wizard asked me if I wished to repair or uninstall the plugin. I tried repair just to be safe. Then I attempted to play games once more. No new results. Same problem.

I'm not sure what's going on, at this point. I was curious to see if the problem had gone away by now. But that same message keeps haunting me! Any help for this issue would be much appreciated.

First, I beat the game in ZNES on Chrome, because my save state was there.

Then I started a new game on Firefox with ZNES. I ran into several new problems. Controller input wasn't working. Sometimes even the keyboard.

So I switched to Mednafen on Firefox. The game performed well, with no issues. But some things are strange. For instance, the game window was seemingly tied to my desktop background wallpaper slideshow. I had to increase the slideshow time, just so I could play properly.

Having figured that out, I opened Chrome back up, and tried Mednafen on there. Again, it performed well, with no issues. I ran into a couple problems with fullscreen functionality, though. It was like once I made the game fullscreen, it wouldn't shrink back down. I had to use the windows button, and close the window manually, just so I could exit the game. I was also unable to access the F1 menu, once I went to fullscreen.

In any case, ZNES seems to be the culprit, and not the browser. It's strange to me. I have played well over a dozen SNES games here on Vizzed using ZNES. It's only now that it has stopped performing well. It doesn't matter to me, I guess. I don't have a problem using Mednafen from now on. I would like it to stop being tied to my desktop wallpaper, because that's bizarre. I also don't enjoy the fullscreen issues. But...at least it performs well!

That's too bad. I guess I'll have to finish the game on Chrome, While sub-par, it isn't like it's unplayable.

Then I'll play everything else on Firefox from now on. (I also wouldn't mind using Mednafen, I've done that before.) Thanks for the help.

I'm using the ZSNES emulator in-browser (with fully updated Chrome), to play the first Final Fight. But it isn't going well.

First there is the over all slowdown occurring. The game drags in many places, especially when there's a lot of action on screen.

Then there's the dip in framerate. A lot of the time, the characters on screen jump forward or back in an erratic fashion. They stutter, and animations do not play correctly.

Finally, the sound is very sub-par. Sometimes the music does not play at the correct tempo. Same with the sound effects.

My question is: What's wrong? lol
I have a good, dependable PC (running Windows 10 64 bit.) I've played other games here on Vizzed without these problems. And as far as I know, the SNES port of Final Fight shouldn't have all these problems.

Once the ZSNES screen loads, I'm clicking the maximize square at the top right of the screen. When it works, it works. But when it doesn't work, the screen might shrink down altogether into the start menu toolbar. Or my mouse cursor may disappear, which forces me to hit escape to exit a maximized ZSNES screen that isn't actually there. A couple of times, I get a combo where the screen minimizes, yet everything on my computer screen is blown up to gigantic proportions. It's been fun figuring out how to undo that mess.

It's all confusing, and I'm hoping someone can help me find the source of the problem and resolve it.

If someone could explain and assist me with maximizing the SNES screen, I'd appreciate it. Every time I try to do so, the screen fades to black, then has the correct appearance for a millisecond, then it completely minimizes. You know, the opposite of what I want, lol. The strange thing is that, usually, the screen will eventually stay, instead of blacking out and shrinking. But the problem is getting worse.

(By the way, if there is already a topic about this, I didn't see it. I didn't even see a search function for this forum. If I missed something, my apologies.)
