pokemon crystal is alot like pokemon gold and silver in fact theres only a few differences you can get mew through trade with pokemon red, pokemon blue, pokemon green or pokemon yellow you can no longer ajust the clock via in game easter egg you have to use a gameshark for that the clone glitch no longer works without cheats via gameshark and you get suicune and the cat pokemon before  the ho-oh or lugia the story is the same as gold and silver you are a pokemon trainer named ??? and you meet profeesor elm you help him with a delivery you meet a rival who stole an egg and the rest you figure out i'm not a spoiler lol

in my personal opinion I think this is the best Pokémon game ever made next to Pokémon red and blue versions I got this for Christmas when I was 7 I had a game boy color I got the first seven gym badges very easily but I couldn't  get to the eighth because I wasn't smart enough to figure out how to get through ice road now that I'm eleven I no longer have either the game boy color or Pokémon gold when I was nine I got my dsi 6 months later 1 week after launch i got the pokemon soulsilver version i cheated with an action replay dsi and got all 493 pokemon and unlimited items of all types anyway enough chatter i'll give the music 6 it had good ideas for soundtracks but were poorly executed with the gameboy color's 8 bit sounds it lacked the quality it was sopposed to have however the remakes for the nintendo dualscreen took advantage of the 64 bit sound and graphics capabilities i'll give the graphics a 7 i think that is pretty self explanatory the storya 4 im not saying the story was bad in fact it was vary good the thing was there wasn't much of a story your a trainer with a rival enslaving animals and making the kill each other like the old ones lol  the depth 8 you can capture 250 different pokemon you can trade with friends fight and talk in the new versions the addictiveness 9 i just wish they had mew and the overall rating 8
