A friend of mine recommended that I read Beelzebub since it was pretty funny and I am not at all disappointed by the recommendation. Currently reading at chapter 45.

For those who doesn't know about Beelzebub, here is a very short and simplified summary:
"It is about a high school guy who happens to be the strongest juvenile delinquent and through some incidents, watches over a baby who happens to be the demon king's son and the ultimate goal of the demon king is to annihilate the human race."

And yeah I can imagine the tension when the professor wants to talk about the paper when you have no idea if you have done well or not. For now just focus on the things that you can do and slowly try your best on making up your lab work. Next week just talk to your professor and make them understand your situation, that way the professor can help you make up your missed lab work. Sorry that I keep repeating myself lol.

Now you mentioned that you have told your classmates about you not being able to make it to English class, but I really recommend that you inform the professor yourself.
