"Zelda" is intended to be an exploration game.
The idea of a guide holding your hand while you cross the street kind of defeats the idea of needing to learn the rules of the game.

You can't explore much or discover much if the game points out everything.

Compare the fans of "Skyrim" or "Fallout" to "Zelda64".

Every Zelda64 fan had the same kind of experience in around about the same time to play.

"Skyrim" or "Fallout" players all have different completeion times and All kinds of Varriances for the experience.

Granted I am Cheating by using games that could go on for 500 hours...BUT,,,

The Basics of the games and the argument is still the solid same.

Why have a Guide when the point is to get lost?

Back in the "Coin-Op" days?

Yes, there was a code.
(I have no better word for it.)

This practice revolved around "Street Fighter" and "Mortal Kombat" fighting games.

When a Player Played against a younger person?
Quite often the older person lost by default. (Not obviously. Just by default.)

Every now an again there would be a type of person that is so "In the Zone" that they never look to who is pressing start.
(Not often.)
When those guys took apart a younger player?
Typically a better player would step up and put their quarter in and put a stop to the nonsense.
(The "Zoned" dude is defeated.)
Then the kid was offered to finnish the game.
(Normally it only took about five or so minutes. Or the kids parent called them to leave.)

I have no idea why this happened.
It just was a thing.
I am certain there would have been more odd traditions if "Coin-Op" did not die.

When you love someone (like a partner) it is often said that "two become one".
So,,,
If one does not respect the other? Then It is akin to not respecting themself.

Short answer?
You can not love someone you do not respect.

After Bumbling Through The Current Video Game Scandals or Movements in recent times?
I Discovered so many other movements and divisions of people that I can not keep track of them.

"S.J.W.s", "3rd Wave Feminists", "Political Leftists and Righteys", "M.G.T.O.W.s" and any other collection of Acronyms that would make a servicemans head spin.

I discovered a few issues that touch on why all of these organizations have sprouted.

For some reason...
There is money in human division and misery.
Since there is a profit?
There will be no end to any of this mess.

The Funny Part?
The Solution is Simply Love and Respect.
They Go Hand in Hand. ("Once Upon A Time".)
Otherwise? We have all these organizations to take the place and fill the void that used to be filled with the "Love and Respect" between two people.

I think if more people understood that relationships take work?
Then there can "be a light at the end of the tunnel".
Just a thought.
