I wish you all could understand why I take this seriously. What bothers me is the fact that people would want to do these things. killing people in a video game  because it's an objective is understandable (unless that game is asking you to murder innocents) or even as an in-game challenge, but doing because your'e a sadistic @#$% is what bothers me. And what bothers me even more is that people are so callous to it all. It's not just a game; the idea of killing and robbing good people with a complete lack of compassion is the problem here.
It doesn't matter if your'e a christian, as a HUMAN BEING, you should care when the value of life is degraded, whether in reality or in a video game.

Uh, not sound rude, but I don't see quite how that relates to what I'm saying here....

I really enjoy Skyrim. It's freak'n epic. But as I've watched and read about the thing other people do while playing, I've realised some things. Some things I find deeply disturbing. These players go around doing some things that are just plain....awful. They go around killing innocent NPCs; Why? Because they don't like them; or they have an item they want, or just because it's "fun"? They steal from them, too, random citizens as well as these particular NPCs; these characters who are good and innocent, who are friends and allies to the player, and they STEAL from  them?! These acts of immorality are highlighted especially in the Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood quest lines. 

I also find the whole Daedric Prince thing and their quests kind of appalling. I mean, by the divine, They're EVIL gods! And you help them, sometimes to do things that are just horrible! One especially atrocious act is for the deadra Boethia, which requires you to sacrifice a person who TRUSTS YOU. It's bad enough to sacrifice an innocent person, but you're BETRAYING SOMEONE WHO PLACED THEIR TRUST IN YOU!!!!!! And that, I just find DISGUSTING and offensive to my very core. It wouldn't be nearly as bad if you could do quests for the Divines, the good gods of the world, but you can't; for some reason, there's only daedric quests. Speaking of which, some of the best equipment in the game is the demonic Deadra set, for which there is no good or "holy" counterpart. Now, I'm not saying Bethsesda is in to diabolism or any of that nonsense, I'm sure they aren't, but it bothers me that there is so much focus on demons and evil.

Some might say, "It doesn't matter, it's just a video game"; well, CONSIDER THIS: Art is a reflection of the values and beliefs of a society. So what does that mean of what our society values? Theft and murder? Betrayal? Wanton destruction? Immorality? Demon Worship?!!? These things have just been on my mind a lot recently, and after I saw a post (on a different site, so you know) where a guy explained how he went and killed every person in every town, just because, I decided that I just had to say something. Just what the @#$% is wrong people?!

No. No,no,no,NO! THERE HAS GOT TO BE A LINE. Children are very impressionable; if you let them play games where they kill indescriminately,
 constantly shout obscene language, do drugs, and all that crap then they'll think it's okay. They will become morally bankrupt and believe it's acceptable to disrespect and hurt people. Yeah, in today's world, they'll probably see all that anyway, probably before they've even left middle school, but if the parent sets an example and does not allow it in their house, the child will thinks it's wrong, too. but of course, it all varies on the child and parent and the way the interact besides. Yup, just keeping your kids from bad games won't make them good people. you gotta man up and be a good parent for them.

Anywazzit, I loved Luigi's Mansion too and I really don't think it got the respect it deserved. It was an inventive game!
One more thing; I always thought it would be neat to combine Luigi's mansion and resident evil one as a parody. It just seems so perfect. Y' know what, I think I'll make some kind of thread about that.

UNLIKE THE REST OF YOU, I LIVE ON FOODSTAMPS. And let me tell you, we don't blow them on junk food like you all seem to assume. Yeah, I'll admit, there's probably a bunch of dumb, lazy people out there  exploiting the system insead of getting jobs, But SOME OF US REALLY NEED IT. Have you all noticed how bad the job market is? Some of us can't find work no matter how hard we try. some of us have health problems that prevent us from getting employed. Some of us just don't have the knowledge that the few people who do offer work are looking for. Some of us do find work, but don't make enough to pay all our bills and other insurances. I'll have you know that I come from a single parent family  with two sibilings, and we have not had TV in months, a car in YEARS, and sometimes go with out food, water, electricity and heat. Hell, we were even HOMELESS for a while. My mom can't get job anywhere because she has to many health problems, and my brothers and I have searched everywhere with no luck. And now, we don't even get food stamps, thanks to people like you. THANKS.

You  are all missing the point. The most hideous Pokémon around is Bibarel. I mean, WTF, LOOK AT ITS FACE. Creepy. Frankly, there's alot of stupid and ugly Pokémon out there, but for myself personally I find Bibarel the most repulsive.
AND, I haven't even played the 4th gen games (Diamond and Pearl) and I still think bibarel is the worst, so what's that tell you?

I'm a Final Fantasy Fanatic, and a die-hard RPG fan, so it was no question that I'd choose FF over CoD. However, I'm not bashing the series, either. Unlike most people, when I hear "Call of Duty", I think of the REAL CoDs, set in WWII, when the games were about war and the people who served in them. You guys remember when it was about showing the soldiers as they went into battle, letting you glimpse at how they must have acted and felt in the face of war? It was like watching 'Saving Private Ryan" to a lesser degree, but it still felt dramatic and meaningful. Anywazzit, I just wish people would remember what Call of Duty used to be like.

Yeah, the Christmas layouts pretty good, but I think they could do a little more with it. Or maybe it's so folks who don't do Christmas feel more welcome? I dunno. Anyway, I totally agree that we should see more holiday themes. I love Christmas and thinks it's very important, but some other holiday themes could be fun and interesting.

Jigglypuff in Melee is terrible! It's easy to get KO'd cuz it's light, the rollout attack is uncontrollable and can easily through you out of the arena, and the down B move does nothing but put you to sleep, which does nothing except leave you defenseless! Why hasn't anyone else said anything about jigglypuff? I mean, there's some weaker characters, but jigglypuff takes the cake. By the way, Sephirothxxxxx, are you saying that Brawl was a bad game? That better not be what your saying!!!

I like bulbasaur; theyr'e just freakin' sweet. Iv'e always liked bulbasaur since Ash's used solar beam in the show.
