Hey guys this is Codythekid1993 and today I'm reviewing The elder scrolls IV oblivion.  Oblivion is the fourth game in the series of elder scrolls games released in 2006 it used its first person ability's and outstanding graphics to lead the way with this game and that's where we are gonna start today...

Graphics

From the beginning cut scene when the game is entering   and you can see the world as it scrolls in around the whole world, then goes in showing a couple of battle scenes and you realize the graphics are the best for any game like this in a long time. However its not just that its the attention to detail of creation of the world the way damage is dealt and combat is great. Then the characters in the game are almost all different and they all have their own personality's which isn't  quite a graphic but its that attention to detail that I like to have in a video game and that's why I gave the graphics a 10 but lets keep moving with sound....

Sound

The music and battle effects of this game are great to me but may not fit everybody but I give the sound in this game a 10 and here's why.
The music in this game is the type of orchestra music used in movies and games; Let's take   the intro for example if you listen in the background you will here one of the themes for the Pirates of the Caribbean and yes the music is instrumental  but that just works here picking up for intensity and dropping when you get out of those spots and its still enjoyable to listen to and they make it easy to play this game for hours and that leads us to our next category...

Addictiveness

Like most of the other elder scrolls games this one is no different. Besides the fact of the great graphics and the terrific story there are hundreds if not thousands of side quests and guilds that make you stay in your seat and play this game for hours... but not only that it has the type of gameplay you only see in very unique games it holds its own style while still staying in same type as the other games and adding to them and makes you play it that much longer. Lastly the add one are incredible and are like there very own story while trying to add on to the already created story as well but it seemed like a back story that was necessary and I found it fun and that's why it gets another 10 now onto the story ....

Story

The story of this game is starts off about the same as the rest of the games your in jail... Yes you start off in jail but not long after that the emperor is running away from assassins and runs straight through your dungeon cell where he meets you and tells you its your fate to meet him and to run into him again. Then you continue out and watch him get killed like most of the rest of the people you try o help in  the game but overall you join the nine and close the oblivion gates and try to kill the lords of oblivion....  but  other then that it goes a lot deeper and that's why it gets   a 10 and we move on to the next category.....

depth

The depth of this game is incredible  from the story  were you can get turned into a vampire and kill a lot of demons and destroy stuff, but besides that there are many different side quest to do like joining the many different guilds and fighting all the creatures. Then three's a lot of different dungeons/caves/ruins for you to explore which can lead to more side stuff to do and that's why I gave this part a 10  to...

Difficulty

I don't really count this category but this is more of a show to people who read this telling you all how hard I think this game is and dose not  count for the overall score.... the difficulty of this game varies from easy to hard as you progress but never so hard you cannot beat it so that's why I gave it a 7 for this part.

Final thoughts....

I love this game and have easily over 100 hours on it doing all the quests and stuff there is and that's why I gave this game a 10 overall, but just because I gave it a 10 doesn't  mean I think its the best game ever but I do think its the best graphically built game of its time and I think that's where I'm gonna leave this I'm codythekid1993 & this was a youtube.com/user/2guysandtheirgames production thanks for reading and goodbye.....

Hey guys this is codythekid1993 here with Nostalgia 2.0 and 2guysandtheirgames. Today I will be reviewing the sonic game that started it all. The original SONIC THE HEDGEHOG not the 8 bit port, not the game-gear version, and not the 06 version, but the real thing SONIC THE HEDGEHOG for the Sega Genesis. And I want to waste as little time as possible, so without further ado let’s begin shall we....

The year was 1991 and Sega had finally figured out what they needed when it came to gaming and  what they were missing in general, and what they were missing happened to be a competitor and a mascot to rival the Nintendo franchises Mario Bros., which was
the pinnacle of the gaming world. Plus at that time with its strand of Super Mario Bros. Games there was really no other console to stand against it. So Sega was sent to work and the characters were sent in by the millions (with a little room for exaggeration), but none were good enough until the choices were slimmed down to two characters. The first was Mighty the Armadillo, but there was also the blue hedgehog known as Sonic who seemed to be a mystery at that time while mighty had appeared in a few games already.  It was a hard choice but in the end Sonic shook the creators of Sega making him the best choice. Other than that he also shook the hearts of many gamers around the world with his style, the speed the game showcased, and the weird but yet funny Japanese commercials you were
convinced to by this game. So you or your parents bought the game for you and the legacy and story began.

The games story begins by dropping the now famous Sega logo which took up 8 bits of the game just for sonic to run in passes it which at that time was a big deal because of cartridge size but then that was followed by a more impressive image of sonic running into the start menu, and in my opinion this was the best start screen ever. But that was just the beginning, Next you were sent to the green hill zone to start the game of running and unless you read the manual you were completely lost, but if you did you would find out that a man known as Doctor Robotnik also Known as Eggman has taken the (chaos emeralds) later found out to be a copy of dragon balls from the dragon ball T.V. show the main creator of sonic worshiped. Then you figure out eggman has used innocent little woodland creatures to power his robots which you have to defeat in order to reach him and free the animals in of each 3rd stage for 6 different 3 stage zones. But
there is a little bit of a depth problem in the story along with the story itself. Like I said before it had no story unless you had the manual which I  did not, or had an online source to look it up again which I did not. Also there was the fact that 95 percent of people never read the manual anyway. Besides that however the game really didn't have that much of a story at all  anyway which is one of the biggest problems I have with the game I get there’s a lot to do for the first game of the series but if you are going to have a story you have to do it the right way. These are the reasons I get mad with games today, and that’s why I gave the story and depth both 8's. Not because it wasn’t a good and very interesting story and concept but there was a lot to be desired in this part of the game that made me wonder what it could have been
but let’s move on.

The next topic to talk about is game play there was many things to be done, like I said before trying to beat each individual stage and every special stage after it. Also there was a lot more to do from the speed running to see how fast you can complete then game with the super blue hedgehog, to collecting rings and getting the chaos emeralds. Collecting the emeralds may be the basis of the game, but there is still a lot you can do. For example you can try to collect all the rings or get all of the animals free to get a new personal best score, but there is a lot more that things that you can spend endless hours on to. I mean this is a platformer so you have may different ways to go and parts to explore from hidden rooms to secret passages. Then there’s the two biggest reasons I liked this gameplay better than Mario. The first is the fact that there are no princesses to rescue which is good, but the biggest thing to me is it is superfast and based on speed. I mean this game has everything you would want in a platformer and that's why I give game-play a 9 even though that's not a subject to review on here, but there's a lot more we can talk about like the graphics.

The graphics of this game were great. I mean you can say the graphics were a little glitchy sure, but for a game of this time to look so smooth it was truly incredible from the well thought out level by level design to the acid trip mazes that we all know and love as the sonic special stages. There are really only minimal flaws compared to later games "Sonic 06" and other titles like "Super Mario Bros." or any other generic game from now or then that you can think of.  For example the games graphics may go in and out or change colors sometimes because the games speed is pushed, or the boss fight might be a little glitched but all in all the graphics. Also I am an avid video game player and this game was one of my favorite games to look at compared to all the other titles so I may be slightly biased, but I love the way you run fast as a super speedy hedgehog to the way you bounce of bumpers to collect chaos emeralds in the special stages it was all just a cool part of the nostalgia I get when I play this game and that's why I give the graphics a  9, because there isn't really but one or two flaws in the game graphics at all.

Now we can dig deeper into my personal experiences with the game because we all know that's what addictiveness is, but first I’d like to clarify I started playing this when my parents gave me it as a gift when I was 2 so yeah I was addicted early, but with good reason. The reason this game is so addictive to me is the fact that no matter how many times i play it something different always happens that
keeps me wanting more. Plus the fact that every time I play a game I like I want to beat it again instantly so yeah. Also I have a great deal of respect for the makers of the game, because they had the guts to stand toe to toe with the other big franchises at the time like Nintendo, Famicom, and all the other companies. So I guess that was also what made me keep on trucking with this game and with Sega in general. Besides that I was always a great gamer who was drawn in by the lights, speed, and flashiness of any new game that could keep my attention and this game did just that. I spent hundreds of hours in my childhood playing this and I still spend many days a week playing this for 2 to 3 hours a day so for me it never gets old, and that's why I gave this games addictiveness a 10 because I just can’t seem to put this game down it was a peace of my childhood that will live on forever in the hearts and minds of millions and I'll love every second of it like I do right now, even when sonic team and Sega make a bad game no one wants to play and releases it any way I’ll play it, because II am a true sonic fan and a true gamer who can handle bad games every now and again that's why i play this game because I am a true sonic fan unlike some people, but enough ranting let’s just say i give this games
addictiveness a 10 and move on...

The difficulty is the next topic I'm going to cover and I'm going to start by saying this… it’s a sonic game!!!It’s really not that hard I mean there are a lot of challenging challenges but they are always easy enough to beat while remaining to keep its toughness up just enough to make the game interesting and yet not to hard so that it makes me want to punch the screen which is a nice thing to say compared to some. however there are some special stages like special stage three and five that are a little too easy to fail which makes it frustrating but that's me just nitpicking so let’s just forget that and move on. For this games difficulty I’m giving it a 6  because I like its  difficulty but also it keeps me happy with it making me want to play it more just like the soundtrack…
.
The soundtrack was one of the main reasons I played the game from the historical green hill zone soundtrack to the special stage tracks there’s always a catchy tunes that make the game interesting even in the zones I don’t like. Another great example for this is the labyrinth zone theme. I completely hate the zone but the theme makes it bearable. Besides that there are special tracks that are added every time you hit a T.V. Box there’s the high speed shoes which speeds everything up. Then there’s the invincibility theme which runs when you hit it. But these are all great additions to the soundtrack of the game and that’s why I gave the soundtrack a 10 because it’s
one of my favorite parts of the game and I couldn't’t play the game without it.

So overall this game is a great game, and for my final score for the game I’m giving it a 9.5 and here’s why. First off I love Sonic in general and this was one of my favorites compared to all the others. Plus there’s the fact that it was the original, but also to me it beat a lot of the games of the past and even some of the better ones today. The gaming industry is an industry of repetition and in cases of repetition sonic just seems to do it the best I mean call of duty, halo, and all the other games do it but no one does it as good as sonic. However it’s not just the repetition no, because that is followed by the love of the fans and Sonic is loved millions and has been the greatest rival of
sonic for over 20 years and that is why I love the game so much. It’s not just a game you play and you get bored with it’s
a game I could play for years at a time I’m 20 years old and I still play it today which is the main reason I love sonic it is a game for all ages a game you can grow with and a game that will change the way you look at life forever and that’s why I gave this game a 9.5 it is amazing.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
