7 minutes, 3 stock, hazards off is the usual standard, but if you're going to limit stages while also keeping things simple, please *please* consider a choice between Battle Field and Final Destination variants. Battlefield seems to promote *very* campy play in this game. Pro tournaments have a set stage list and a ban system but I don't think that's necessary for this. Just a choice between the two should work fine. (Or if participants agree they can just go to whatever, of course)

Also, if nobody else signs up I'm happy to sit out to keep numbers even.

Just a couple things before I decide on throwing my hat in:
1) How exactly are you going to determine spam? I don't want to be dq'd because I'm trying to safely approach with a move.
2) How does stage morph work if only battlefield is legal? And would it be possible to add FD or Hazardless stages for a little more variety?
3) How dare you ban Kirby!!1! C Not my fault he's OP /s

The gamecube had a surprisingly solid lineup so I'm actually having trouble figuring out which game to pick.
I'm so, so tempted to pick out one of the mario sports games or ESPECIALLY Paper Mario and the Thousand Year Door but at the end of the day all of my childhood love goes to Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness. It was my only Pokemon game growing up so I poured hundreds of hours into it easily and I can never bring myself to properly critique it anymore.

My original username was something I came up with in like 30 seconds because I didn't anticipate that I would be staying here very long so I was just kinda like 'I'm a girl who likes gaming but gaming girl is bland so let's change it to gal and add an apostrophe to f*** the site up apparently.' And then I continued to use that name for the next what... 5 years? So credit where it's due I guess.

Snu however has been around for much MUCH longer. It started allll the way back when I used to be a part of bulbapedia. I was going under the name Thundercracker at the time since I was into Transformers at the time. Christmas was coming so I changed it to Snowcracker to fit the season. But then I never changed it back because I grew to like it. I used it for pretty much every site except this one, but it's a bit of a mouthful so my friends started calling me Snu for short. And then it just kinda stuck. It's a name with very happy memories so I figured it was time to spread the happy memories here too.

Star Allies is super tempting if only because the dlc fixed some big issues with the base game, but I still much prefer Return to Dreamland. Large part of that is probably nostalgia, since it's what reintroduced me to the kirby series in the first place, but the level design is more challenging and Magolor is still my favourite character by far.

Sky Tower is also a beautiful song, fite me

Very much so. My bad habit of procrastination has screwed me over many, many times and it's so deeply seeded into me that I have had no luck in breaking free of it. But at least it's something I feel I can change, I just need to actually follow through on the promises I make myself.

For the most part I prefer physical simply because it takes up less space on the console. However, living in a town with no EB Games/Gamestop means that if I want a game when it comes out, I need to buy it digitally so I just kind of make do. Plus there are a lot of indie games that simply don't have a physical release, so not much can be done about that either

I always have and always will be a kirby main first and foremost. I did dabble a bit with Metaknight and King Dedede in Brawl as well before I knew what a tournament really was. Smash 4 was when I started going competitive, and there I mained Kirby and Bowser Jr. with a pocket Metaknight, Dedede and Bowser.

In Ultimate I'm still a bit indecisive, but right now I am loving how all the Kirby characters play, but Bowser Jr got kinda neutered. I might end up picking up Bowser as well, but I'm still narrowing things down.

Hoo boy, I realize I've been away for a while but I want to see this site succeed as much as anyone else still here. My post count makes my votes a little limited, but hopefully these two votes give the impact I that I think it will.

Boured: In the amount of time that I've gotten to know and speak with him he has been kind and reasonable and his dedication to the site, while overlooked, speaks volumes more than any campaigning could to me.

supernerd117: I feel supernerd is getting critically underlooked here. He's not only fresh blood for a group that needs it, but he has also been kind and approachable for as long as I've seen him around, and I think those are going to be traits that a small site like this desperately needs.

But brackets are far more streamlined! And it determines 4 of the 9 places far more easily, especially if you do a loser's bracket. Though admittedly everything below 4th gets a little muddled. Tie breakers for the rest would probably do wonders, though the odd number of people makes things a little awkward. It's otherwise just... a lot easier to run.

I was told there was a smash tournament going on and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't highly interested!

On a side note, you don't need friend codes. They're nice to have but you can just create rooms and give them passwords. I find it much quicker myself.

That's a bit of a rough question, since so many people view 'normal' differently. I do try and act socially acceptable, but I occasionally have lapses in empathy where I fail to consider how small, simple actions may affect other people so I don't always succeed. And in terms of 'weird' or 'strange', I guess?? I mean, I'm not very good at talking to people and occasionally I'll utter non-sequiturs in the middle of conversations when my mind wanders off. Nothing too big.
I'm also a Sonic fan, and I think you have to be 'weird' or 'strange' as a requirement XD

I'm not entirely sure what I'll be paying for it.Just depends on what kind of bundles I see around Christmas time. I'm seeing enough games come out for it to satisfy me for the time being at least, even if I'm still strongly against the idea of paying for online. It means Smash just became a much less viable game for me, and what little interest I had in Splatoon and Arms has all but vanished.
