My screen is now on the highest resolution but I don't think my hardware is using it's full power but yeah it is still a problem

I can any gba game, snes and nes game but when I try something like ohh lets say duke nukem 3d it won't work it gives me a message saying No hardware accelerated direct 3d devices where found
