What was the first Final Fantasy you ever played?

My first Final Fantasy game was IX. After playing other Final Fantasy mainstream titles, excluding XIII and XIII-2, I found IX to be the worse due to the fact that the plot went from good in the beginning to a rushed and horrible ending, there was only one character that had any development (Vivi), and the final boss was nowhere to be found until you fought him. I personally prefer VII and VIII.

Hi, I'm 00Wired. I'm new to the whole forum posting thing, so please tell me if I'm doing something idiotic. Really enjoy the fact that I can play older games, which I before to new releases.
