Anyways, I have some information that might be useful to all, I spent hours attempting to get the
1964 emulator to work, and I finally did. I updated my video card software, and that didn't quite do it, but what
did do it was when I turned off my video card altogether. Turns out my video card was too advanced for the games,
so for those of you with excellent video cards, try disabling them, and see how that works. This will put a bit more
strain on your computer which won't hurt it, but it will cost you power faster, so just be aware of that.

The other thing I'd like to mention is that PC controllers don't work as well on 1964 as they do on mupens, it acts as
though I'm pushing the control stick slightly in a random direction even when I'm not... so that's kinda annoying.

I absolutely can't wait until the Donkey Kong 64 works without this little control glitch. I'm so excited!!!

I still have the issue of the plugin error on 1964, and when I try to play certain games using the mupens, they don't work just because of the particular game, they will load, but they have glitches and sometimes won't play right like donkey kong 64... I've tried nearly every solution that I could think of, but I still have no idea.

Are there any common problems with windows 7 machines running a strong video card with strong software and processing power?

I have noticed Donkey Kong 64 does not work correctly on the mupens emulator. I gets to a certain point in the opening cinematic and then it just freezes up while the audio continues to play. This is really sad for me because I really enjoy that game.

Also, on the 1964 emulator, games don't play too well when you use a controller. It acts as though I'm constantly moving when I'm not...

Pokemon Stadium will not work on the mupens emulator, I've noticed a lot of n64 games not working on that emulator... and I can't run the 1964 one for some unknown reason :/ anyways, just thought I'd update you.

I would have to say that my favorite Final Fantasy game to date is Final Fantasy 10 and it's sequel because of the story.

I enjoyed the fighting style, and the interesting level up systems, as well as the diverse creatures and difficult to get legendary weapons. I also like the seemingly impossible to beat monsters that are thrown into the game that allow hardcore gamers to truly test their patience and skill.

But most of all, I enjoyed the believable romantic story between Yuna and Tidus. I'm a fan of good endings, and when Tidus was made out to be a figment of reality, it really kinda brought my mood down, but the perfect ending in FF 10-2 really made me appreciate the game and all it had to offer. I'm a sucker for good romantics I guess, but only when mixed with believability and some great action and graphics!

Currently I am using Internet Explorer, but I have tried Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome. I have tried restarting the browser a few times, and sometimes even my computer, but sadly it doesn't seem to want to work. Thank you for the suggestion though.

The annoying part is that I'm an electrical engineering student and I can't seem to figure out the problem with this, haha the irony...

I just went and reloaded the page about 7 times and sadly it continued the same error message. Although, I can load the mupens emulator like I mentioned, and even without being able to alter the controls it seems as though when I use my xbox 360 controller aided with some microsoft software, I can play the games just like using a pc controller. Everything is very well tuned and the like.

Anyways, on another note, I loaded up donkey kong 64 on the mupens, and when I started the game, the opening cinematic would play for a while, but when it reached a certain point it would freeze right in front of the mouth of DK's large island cave. I thought this was a fluke, but I tried it 4 or 5 times, and every time the picture woudl freeze there but the sound would continue playing as though the cinematic was continuing.

Unfortunately, I can't even make it that far. I assume you're referring to the (1964, rice, arachnoid, direct) buttons?

Almost immediately as I click "play game" it will say something like "internet explorer has stopped working" and it will close the window. My vizzed window remains open, but the retro game room window ( the one that would play the game ) closes and that's about all that I get

Hello, Rinorim here, when I attempt to load an n64 game such as Super Mario 64 using the 1964 emulator, it crashes the Internet explorer window, I have also tried using Google chrome and firefox, and when I use those it just sits at the loading screen until it comes up with an error message at the bottom of the screen. I have tried reloading the page, but unfortunately it does not fix the problem. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin, but that is to no avail.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I might get the emulator to work? I want to use 1964 so I can alter the controls to my liking.

I have a very up to date computer, I run windows 7, I have a very high quality video card, and up to date software such as java and the like.

Any help would be highly appreciated.
