"A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach . . . "Even so must their wives be grave, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things."
1 Timothy 3:2, 11, KJV

"But a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate;"
Titus 1:8, KJV

"That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience . . . That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children . . . Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded."
Titus 2:2, 4, 6, KJV

"Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;"
1 Peter 1:13, KJV

"But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer."
1 Peter 4:7, KJV

"Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:"
1 Peter 5:8, KJV

The key word in all of these verses is sober or sober minded. As its been stated before, yes, being drunk or high CAN (and usually does) lead to sin. I know this from past experiences.

But if we look at these verses we learn that the fact that we're not sober in the first place IS a sin. God doesn't 'ask' us to be sober - He commands it.
I wont repeat the verses that have already been posted about not harming your body, and your body being the temple of the Lord, but I do agree with them.

Finally, the fact that a person might be questioning (for themselves and not others sake) whether using marijuana is a sin or not means that that person isn't where they need to be with God. I encourage whoever is wrestling with this to get on your knees and spend some time in prayer with God. If your saved then the Holy Spirit will confirm within you what is right and wrong. And if you're not a child of God, then the Holy Spirit will convict you of what is wrong.

I encourage you to seek God through His Son, Jesus Christ. He is much more wonderful, and rewarding, than any substance you can put in your body.
Good luck and God bless ^.^

Yeah I do have some favorite games.

I mostly like games (on this site) for SNES or GBA due to the games I grew up playing. The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past is an all time favorite.  I love Chrono Trigger and Breath of Fire 2 for SNES. Golden Sun 1&2 are both really great for GBA.

I'm excited about getting to play all these favorites and also try new games that I've never had a chance to play before or have never heard of.

Yes, I actually was referred to this site but I didn't know the username of the person who referred me. We're friends on another online game. So many thanks to Laufeia if you're out there!

I appreciate your welcoming me!
