Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3, it's not Mario, but it's still a fun game. The story picks up after Super Mario Land 2: Six Golden Coins and Wario wants his own castle. Basically, you're out to get the Pirate's gold to buy a castle all your own. Let's move on to the review though.

Graphics: 9
As far as classic Gameboy games go the graphics on this are pretty primo. They took Six Golden Coins and made it just a hair cleaner. The animations are smooth and many of them are somewhat complex for the time it was released.

Sound: 9
Personally, I like the sound in this game. The music is good, the character sounds are good, though they can get cheesy some times. You just have to remember, this was all 8-bit sound so there was only so much they could do.

Addictiveness: 10
When I got this game right after its release, I couldn't put it down. I played it to completion over and over. The only game I ever played more was Tetris! Even today I enjoy going back and playing though time and time again.

Story: 7
This is technically a "Super Mario Land" game so the story is a bit shallow. Wario wants a Castle, so he is going to go pillage his way though a gang of pirates to get one. That's pretty much it.

Depth: 10
This game has so much to offer. As far as gameboy games go, the levels are vast, the map system is much like that of Super Mario World on the SNES, and the number of Hats and their abilities make the game a fully immersive experience. Weather you're flying with the Jet hat, smashing things with the Bull hat, or burnanating things with the Dragon hat, you can find all kinds of new rooms and paths in each level.

Difficulty: 8
Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3 has pretty basic controls, but making them work for you can be a bit tricky some times as far as the timing goes. I found my self hitting buttons a hair to late or early and then sliding around as per most "Mario" games making my time falling down pits and into spikes somewhat high. Would I trade it for anything? Not at all.

Overall: 8.8
Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3 is definitely one worth playing, especially if you are a fan of the Super Mario Land series. I don't think you'll regret it, I know I haven't.

I'm having the same issue on Firefox and on Chrome. I've tried disabling the plugin-container.exe on firefox  to get past the failed to download rom file error, and then I started getting this error. On IE I'm still getting the failed to download rom file error.
