In MM you actually have a reason to feel bad for the characters, and it actually makes you want to help them.

I love Toon Link, whats there not to love about him?
I'd love to see Simon from castlevania in SMB, Or Sora from KH.

PS2, Theres just way too many games for it, Its a console that I've been using for a long time, and still am.

Also Kingdom hearts started in the PS2, if thats not enough for something to be perfect, i dont know what is.

If you want to see how the series has developed over time, just start from the original, and go on from there, maybe skip 3 (Really tedious).

If you want to go straight to the good games, play mega man X and mega man Zero (Warning: its really, really difficult), There are 9 Mega man X games and 5 Mega man Zero games, they are all pretty good, except mega man X7 and X8 (IMO).

Battle network is extremely different from any other mega man game, but its still pretty good.
