Vanelan : Trying to mainly set what the "select" button is. Currently the Default is set to "Backspace". I like having it as "Right Shift".

It's just easier for me because start is "Enter" and so "Select" would be right below that as "Right Shift". Plus it's easier since it is near the arrow keys which control most movement and so you don't need to move your hand very far and it's much faster.

So mainly that's what I want to change is the "Select" button to "Right Shift" rather than having it as "Backspace".

Vanelan : Didn't make sense to me either. Everytime I try mednafen it is lagging and jumping all over the place, and I've tried multiple resets.

Maybe it's something on my end that I'm not aware of, but usually given time these issues fix themselves for me. I wish there was a more clear cut solution, but I mean it is what it is and I appreciate all the help. Even if some of the help was for others.

Vanelan : No, I didn't say anything about save issues with MEDNAFEN. The others who replied to me said it had save issues.

That Emulator (MEDNAFEN) that people have suggested for some reason runs really choppy for me as if it is at half the frames it should be, and one time it completely crashed on me. So I tend to avoid using MEDNAFEN.

VBA is the only GB/GBA emulator that runs really well for me whenever I want to play, but for some reason it just won't let me change the controls so playing, while it works, is just very tedious as I always end up pressing wrong buttons.

So it's not like VBA is broken for me, just that I can't change the control configuration because it won't let me for whatever reason. So, I shall wait patiently till hopefully it is fixed in an update or something.

I tried reinstalling the RGR, but didn't work. Thanks for all the replies though, and all the help! Much appreciated

Jordanv78 : I know, but I don't really play anything else. The N64 games I would like to play incorporate the C buttons, analog, and directional pad which is really hard to remember on just a keyboard, and I can't even access PS1 games yet due to lack of points to be able to (I'd love to be able to so I could play Legend of Dragoon and the FF series), and the other games I'm not quite interested in.

I use Chrome on windows 7 OS.

Before anyone says "RGR doesn't work with Chrome" well I want to just say it has for me in the past. I've had no issues before unless something has changed, and by before I mean like 2 months ago.

I've had this issue before, but usually restarting the game fixes it, but this time it doesn't.

I also tried with other browsers (Firefox and IE), but neither worked to change the controls.

I don't like using the second emulator as it runs really weird on my system, as if it is really, really choppy.

I'll try uninstalling the RGR or possibly deleting that one thing you guys said, and try again.

Hopefully this isn't a nonstop issue.

Hey there. Recently been wanting to play some gameboy games (pokemon to be precise) and whenever I go to open it, and change the controls via double clicking, or right clicking then configuration then clicking the button I want to change it won't change it.

For example. I like having "select" as my right shift key. So I click the box that has "Select" and "Backspace" as the button, but when I do it highlights it but when I press the "Right Shift" key on my keyboard it won't change. It stays as "Backspace".

It's never done this before for me. Any help is appreciated. Thank you <3

Hey there, I've been searching for a while now and I'm having trouble finding some Pokemon hacks with some specific features.

First things first though.

I'm looking for a Pokemon Emerald hack. It has everything that Pokemon Emerald had, except that you can catch ALL Pokemon from Gen 1-5.

I've seen a hack called Manly Pink that puts gen 4 and 5 Pokemon into the game, but that is set in Kanto. Not Hoenn like I want it to be, and I'm not even sure it has all Pokemon from gen 1-5 in it.

So, if possible the first hack I'm looking for is this:

-Pokemon Emerald
-All Pokemon from gen 1-5

That's it. No different region. No different story. Just Pokemon Emerald with all Gen Pokemon.

The next hack I'm looking for is is similar, but has a few different things. I've noticed that people have done this in a few hacks. Made new types such as in the Touhoumon hack, or have made different combination for Pokemon types. Such as an Electric/Rock type or a Water/Fire type. Etc. Etc.

So this is what I'm looking for:

-Pokemon Emerald
-All Pokemon fromGen 1-5 (Though it can be gen 1-3)
-New Types (Like Touhoumon without being Touhoumon) or different Typings such as the Electric/Rock or Ghost/Steel.
-Good Fakemon, but doesn't have to be.
-COMPLETED! This is the most important one. It has to be completed.

True enough with the Doctor Who part. Celebii could be considered the Spirit of the TARDIS, but not the Doctor himself. Since he doesn't exactly control time. He just travels in it and everything. Lucario I can understand with the Justified ability, though there are many with it. Absol is true. As they say every time the Doctor comes a disaster soon follows.

Any more for Doctor Who? I'd like a full team.

There are other reasons than to discuss this, and that's that I want to create these teams, but my mind can only think so much of people.

Hey there. I have something, two questions really,  that have been on my mind and quite irritatingly been picking away at my brain.

Those things are simple questions that Google hasn't been able to help with, nor any other source. So, I thought I'd come here. To the site with a lot of Pokemon fans, or from what I've seen are Pokemon fans. So, here are the questions:

What Pokemon Team would people, real and fake, have?

Also, what Pokemon would certain people, real and fake, be?

This question has been picking away at me ever since I've been thinking of what Pokemon, in personality, mindset, strength, look, etc. I am? A friend of mine has told me Raichu. This I could see, though I'd prefer more of Lucario or Arcanine, but I love Raichu as well.

So, my mind had gotten to thinking of what other people would be. What other peoples Pokemon teams would be.

I have tried using Google to search for teams based on famous people and fake people (tv show characters and such), and to what Pokemon they themselves would be, but to no avail.

I ask all here on this site to come up with Pokemon teams for real life people and fake people. Also, what Pokemon they themselves would be. I will give and example. Afterwards I will list names, and I would like people to follow the example and create teams they would have and what Pokemon they would be.

Example:

Monkey D. Luffy: Mankey/Primeape or Aipom/Ambipom

Team: Infernape, Primeape, Ambipom, Typhlosion , Vigoroth/Slaking, Walrein.

Typhlosion for Gear Second. Kind of. Plus, in a rage Typhlosion reminds me of Luffy when angry for some reason. Vigoroth/Slaking because Vigoroth is more Monkey, but Slaking tends to dose a bit more...like Luffy. So whichever fits better. Walrein because...well, you know the Chopstick thing. XD Lol. The 3 in the beginning because Monkey's.

So that's the example. Say what Pokemon they'd be and then their team they'd have if they had one. Real people or fake. Fake meaning from books, tv shows, anime, movies, etc. Real people as in famous people or people that aren't actors, but are still famous such as people in history books, etc. etc.

Here's the names of those I would like, but feel free to add to it. I hope this gets a lot of attention.

Oh, and rules. No pre-evolutions or evolutions in the same team. Meaning don't put something like this for the team: Magneton, Magnezone, Drilbur, Excadrill, Porygon, Porygon 2.

Or anything with different forms (Hence why I put the Porygon's up there in the example of what NOT to do) Thank you.

Thanks. I am just starting out with the game. I only my Feraligator since I can't catch any other Pokemon...he keeps knocking them out. XD

Anyways, if anyone has gotten farther than me in the game and knows if this hack lets you get those evolutions then please let me know. Right now I'm on a break from the game right now. I just beat 4 gyms with only my starter....I need another Pokemon soon and would like it to be one of the ones I mentioned. Thanks.

Do trade evolutions evolve when they reach a certain level or are they still trade evolutions?

For example Onix into Steelix, Kadabra into Alakazam, Graveller into Golem, Haunter into Gengar, etc. etc.

I'm not sure if this will reach the person who created this hack or not, but I would like to just say something that came to mind as I started playing the game.

First though I'd like to say I enjoy that it has all gen Pokemon in it (1-5). That's awesome.

Now, onto what I want to say.

They (or you if you're, the people or person who made this, is reading this) chose 3 starters. Snivy (Grass), Piplup (Water), Torchic (Fire).

Now, I have really no qualms with this. It is an interesting mix. I just have a tiny suggestion/annoyance. Piplup and Torchic both evolve into Dual Types whereas Snivy doesn't. I would recommend a different Grass starter. Perhaps Turtwig if you don't mind the same gen as Piplup, but if you're trying to avoid same gens then perhaps Bulbasaur? Or, even choose a non-starter Grass that has a dual type of some kind. I would just find it a bit more even for the starters.

Grass starter is supposed to be weak against the fire starter which is is with no defense against it. Fire is supposed to be weak to water with no defense against it. Water is supposed to be weak to grass with no defense against it, but it does have a defense against it. It's secondary typing makes grass moves regularly effective which is a little bit bull. You have Torchic which will be hurt by water moves and Snivy which is hurt by Fire moves, but Piplup is normally effected by grass and fire. A little bit OP are we Piplup?

I'm not saying Piplup is bad or anything. I actually like the fact they chose Piplup. It's my favorite water starter. I'm just saying to give the Grass starter a dual typing. If not that's cool. It's only a suggestion.

What are other peoples opinions on this? Should the Grass starter be a dual type?

I know I'll probably get told to "Why don't you just search through the games?" answers and stuff, but I really don't feel like going through the hundreds of hacks for Pokemon on this site to find ones with Fakemon that aren't glitched or broken and such or ones with all gen Pokemon in them.

So, I want people who have played many Pokemon hacks and games on here to list the games that have Fakemon that aren't broken or glitched (Crash the game and such or just to over powered), and games with gen1-5 Pokemon in them.

New regions would be nice as well, but it doesn't matter.

If the hack offers new types and typings then all the better!

So, when listing them please do so like this:

Pokemon (Insert the name here): Fakemon (None broken, but don't have their own sprites). New Region. Different Starters. New types and typings. Pokemon from gen (Insert number to number).

Pokemon (Insert the name here): Fakemon (Many different kinds and they have their own sprites as well as new typings and none are broken). No new region. Fakemon starters. Pokemon from Gen (Insert number to number).

I hope that clears it up. The reason why I ask you to let me know this way is because it makes it easier for me to choose and not to expect something more than what it is.

I've been thinking about what type I would like to see more of and I've come up with a few ideas. The following type matchings are based on what I believe they should be. It is stupid for types to be super effective of its own type within the pairings.

Steel/Water: The only one I can think of that has been made is Empoleon. I like this type because of its high defenses. I would love to see a Steel/Water combo Pokemon that has high speed (Even higher than Ninjask) and that is a physical attacker so it uses physical moves to devastate its opponent. It would only be weak to what effects Water because though Steel is weak to Fighting, Water isn't. So Fighting would only be normal.

Steel/Ground: I would love to see this type pairing again since the last time I remember seeing it was on Steelix and imo Steelix is a tad bit slow plus is weak to its own type (Ground) which throws me off of it a lot. I would love to see it paired so that Ground moves do not effect it (Just normally and not super effective). Since it is part Ground earthquake would only be normal against it. Fighting though would be super effective against it as would fire.

Rock/Electric: As far as I recall there are no Pokemon with such a pairing. It would have the ability Levitate (Using electromagnets) so would be immune to Earthquake and other Ground moves. Though it would be weak towards Fighting and Grass. Not Water and Steel though. My reasoning behind this is because the Electric part within the pairing nulls the super effectiveness of Water and Electric is conductive with steel so it nulls Steel to normal.

Dark/Poison: There is, as far as I know, only Drapion as Poison/Dark. So another one would be awesome. It is only weak towards Ground and so it makes it quite formidable if it is given an Ice move.

Dragon/Fighting: This would be almost a Lucario cousin in terms of how I would describe it. It would be weak towards Dragon, Flying, and Psychic. Not to Ice though because of the Fighting type being strong against it.

Psychic/Ground: This...would be interesting. Let's just leave it at that.

I have a few more, but my damn keyboard is messing up and not letting me type that well.

mlb789 : I can't remember which others off the top of my head because I haven't played them for a few months, but the one I'm talking about now is the one I posted this from. Pokemon Priti (I think that's the name).

I don't know the other ones, but no matter what time of day or night there is always a pinkish overlay, like a film or something, over the screen. As if the coloring is off, but turned more pinkish. As if on the old tv's the red was turned up.

I've been playing Pokemon games on here for a while now, and a few of them have had a "Pinkish" hue to them in battle and outside of it. The only time it's not is inside buildings. Then again sometimes it is pink inside buildings as well.

What causes this? Is there a fix? Has anyone else encountered this?

It's just really annoying.
