The second generation games were my favorites, at least game play and story wise. Though I  love the DS remakes to death, the classic games will never be replaced as the best Pokémon games ever, at least among those that don't have 'XD' in the title.

The classic games win, but only just. I DO love the many awesome additions in the remakes.

From what i've heard, the 3DS sucks if you use glasses or contacts, as it gives you a headache within 5 minutes. If you have 20/20 vision, it kicks butt because it doesn't give you a headache.

Either way, everyone isn't kidding when they say to wait for newer models- these things are enormously expensive right now, just wait about a year for the price to drop and then snag one, that's what i'm doing.
