NotEvenOnceM8 : I'm pretty new to the board myself, but not to the site. I think this is the first time I actually went into the boards. As for games to suggest, I would say mischief makers for the n64, summon night : sword craft story for the gba, or Bomberman tournament for the gba are some lesser known games that I enjoyed. I also liked castlevania: aria of sorrow and final fantasy tactics advanced for the gba.

the difficulty depends on how you play, and what weapons you use. 
and finally, you are nitpicking. The song may be repetitive, but it is a good song. the dungeon may be repetitive, but there are no 2 of the same exact layout, and how many rpgs have you played that are truly unique. You barely mention the main gimmick.

I love this game. It makes you think of things in a different way. One example of this is grass. In A Link to the Past it is just there to cut in order to get items. In this game it is a weapon to use against enemies. The game has so much different that I think of it as an entirely new game. It is a hack done right of a game you shouldn't mess with, and in my opinion it would be a game I would buy if I could.

 Basically you are trying to help Zelda, a girl from a different world, make her world a better place with the Triforce, but Dreagor, the evil king, wants the Triforce for himself. He kidnaps Zelda, and the 6 other girls from the other world, and interrogates them to find out how to get the Triforce.

It is a Rom hack of a link to the past. It is a complete Rom hack. It is an entirely new game. If you don't stretch your imagination, and find new uses for old things, like grass as a range weapon, you will not win. Also explore everywhere, and make sure to visit the church before you go to the guardhouse. I hope this helps.

This game is an example of a hack done right. It isn't just another version of the game, but a completely different game. It also makes you stretch your imagination. Instead of cutting grass for rubies you pick it up and throw it at an enemy. You use pots as weapons. You are encouraged to use objects other then your sword to fight. Trust me you will need to use everything you can. It is difficult, but in a fun way. You will be using all your knowledge about the game, and learning new things as well. I give it a 8.3 out of 10 over all.
