Davideo7 : That is very generous of you, thanks a lot, I'm sure everyone appreciates very much! I'm sure the games Nintendo took off must have been quite a hit to the use of the RGR, I was also using it quite a lot for at least 3-4 of those games. I'm still trying to log in every day though, that won't change ![]() As for my request, I would love a copy of "Finding Teddy" if possible, please. I didn't see other requests for it using Ctrl+F, but in case others asked for it with different spelling and there are none left, my backup would be Dark Gates. Bolded so noticed it is a backup if others search for it later ![]() I dragged on, but to conclude, a big thank you and a wish for the site to stand united, stand strong! ![]() As for my request, I would love a copy of "Finding Teddy" if possible, please. Barathemos : Because Nintendo likes having more revenue from releasing the same game 3 times, then re-releasing at least 2 same upgraded version of those games. Plenty of examples: [Red, Blue, Yellow - Fire Red, Leaf Green] ; [Gold, Silver, Crystal - Heart Gold, Soul Silver] ; [Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald - Alpha Sapphire, Omega Ruby]... Ok, the last pack had a LOT of improvements and addons, but still the same main story. The point is, if the old versions are available on the internet, they won't make as much a profit. Sad, but they have the rights to it, and there's nothing we can do... Until the trademark/copyright registration expires anyways. That'll take a while considering they're still making games from these series, and probably always will. A bit of a late-month entry, and this is my only one too, but here's my submission for "Touhou Mario - Imperishable Night":
"Nostalgic Blood of the East ~ Old World (remix)" Not sure what is meant by "Unreleased games and prototypes do not count"; I hope this submission doesn't infringe the rule. There's a saying that goes like this: "If something seems too good to be true, it probably is." Besides, free mobile apps/games with ads are already a thing, and in my opinion, most paid benefits aren't worth a dime. If that program got rid of the ads of F2P games, that'd be another thing, but as I see it, it's just a marketing ploy for a new "F2P Games" category. |

I either go to Second Cup or Tim Hortons, depending on if I feel like having my coffee more bitter or sweet, respectively. I'd rather have a good cup of Earl Grey tea most of the time though, which I find hard to find, strangely. |

My favorite weapon in video games... Well, since I never give the same answer twice, I won't think about it for too long and I'll just list one of them. Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance's "High Frequency (HF) Wooden Sword". In the game it comes from, this weapon is a pacifist alternative to its more gruesome and bloody cousin HF blades. And putting the sheer challenge of using it aside, I find how non-lethal it is hilarious in contrast to the dark themes present in the game. In short, I'd really like one of these. Great topic idea. Well, here is one of my levels, will edit post when I find the time to get the code for my other ones.
Name: Above Airship Canyon ID: 0635-0000-0039-E008 Desc: A fair but (hopefully) challenging stage themed around floating platforms and airships. Uses Super Mario World style. Name: Hop Skip Fortress ID: 11F6-0000-00B3-8818 Desc: A tough castle stage with an unskippable boss at the end. A secret lets you one-shot it though. SMW Style. Other stages to be edited in eventually. Any constructive feedback is welcome, but please leave it through the game's comment system. Most importantly, I hope you enjoy my stages if you try them out. I got both to get the exclusive Pokemon in each version (which is the last game I did this for), but I mostly played White, because I prefer electric types over fire types. Statistically, Electric is strong against water (which is my starter's type 90% of the time) and flying (which is one of my favorite types, and I always have one in my party). Electric is only truly weak to Ground as well, and while the dragon type makes it have more weaknesses than Reshiram, it's twice as resistant to electric type moves (1/4x) than reshiram (1/2x), which considering my party layout, is an asset for me. I'm also awkward at using most fire-type Pokémon. That is why I chose to play White mainly. Edit: At the time I got the games, Fairy type was not a thing, so both legendaries had the same amount of weaknesses. archmageraistlin : While knowing exactly which game you mean would help, if you just googled "Pokemon Lapras Location" the first link would have pointed you to this page: Lapras (Pokémon) - Bulbapedia, Which has the locations in which you can find Lapras in all the games. Bulbapedia should have such information on all Pokémon, although most recent entries might take some time to be added. Hope this helps for this (and future) inquiries. Well, sadly, the site didn't register the speedrun screenshot I did (or I accidentally destroyed it my pressing "complete speedrun" instead of submit first, then trying to submit), therefore I couldn't submit it. (and I was proud of my ~3h20m...). I can't find the recorded video from Vizzed (can anyone tells me where to look?), I'll upload it if I ever do find it, and I'll upload my other 3 part video I recorded separately with Xsplit -- for the exact purpose of avoiding such scenario -- on my own channel. I'm not sure if I can put a link to my own channel here, so unless I'm told I can, I'll avoid editing this post with the link, but my username is the same, so it shouldn't be hard to find. |

That's nice! I'm happy for you. Also, I dunno if it's the case in the US, but 3DS distribution stopped in Canada, so you might have to buy one used or get a 3DS XL instead (and there's the "New" 3DS coming out sometime next year with exclusive games due to additional bumpers and a second thumbstick, might be worth waiting for). Anyways, I wish you well. I've been around a lot of video viewing sites on the internet, and on some, I've had some problems. For example, for me, viewing videos fullscreen on Roosterteeth.com causes ads to play automatically, their audio looping and disrupting the videos'. So to solve that problem and a few others, I made a dark themed page you can easily edit to Hope it helps some of you. My favorite franchises would be: First, the "Legend of Zelda", from which "LoZ: Twilight Princess" is my guilty pleasure (seeing as the game had a darker atmosphere than the rest of the series). Second, the "Tom Clancy's: Splinter Cell" franchise, my favorites of the lot being "Splinter Cell: Conviction" for the action oriented style (latter half of the series), if only because the multiplayer split-screen was better IMO. The first half's favorite would be "Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory", which is probably the best rated and most popular entry in the Xbox titles, with reason. The last franchise I'd like to share is "Dead Space". Albeit very, and I say VERY gory, it's undoubtedly a fun, story-driven adrenaline pumper... And self proclaimed horror game, although I'm the last person able to judge if a game is scary or not. My favorite entry was the last game, Dead Space 3, albeit having to boot it from EA's crappy Origin Launcher (I'm still mad at it for switching the save directory on it's own and nearly giving me a heart-attack thinking all my progress vanished). I never got that problem myself, but I'm willing to try to help, so here goes: >First, what platform are you using (Windows, Mac or Linux)? I know the games were released to work on Windows XP (and they work on my PC, which is Windows 8), but they might not on the other two. The first 5 games, however, require an emulator (since they were published on PC-98), so they probably work on all platforms. *Note: I don't use compatibility mode to launch the games, so they -should- work fine on versions of Windows XP (service pack 3) and later. Never hurts to try though. >Second, what website did you get the games on? It may be that the source you took your files from doesn't/didn't have working versions of the game. Mine come (or mostly come, at least EoSD and PCB do) from Moriya Shrine, so if the files themselves are the problem, re-downloading them should solve it. >Finally, it could be the unzipping software you're using to uncompress the files (assuming you got them compressed) that doesn't do so properly. On the off-chance it is the case, I suggest 7-zip, which is free and also the software I used. If none of the above solutions work, I currently have no idea what the problem may be, so I'll keep thinking a bit on my side. Please let us know if you manage to solve the problem! >First, what platform are you using (Windows, Mac or Linux)?
