Mecha Leo : Honestly, I'm not sure if I even WANT to work on poetry anymore. I might get into it eventually but at the moment I don't have any inspiration. The Writer's Block has dulled enough to the point where I COULD write SOMETHING but I don't think it would be anything better than the rest of the items you see here.

Mecha Leo : Yeah, like I said this is all really old stuff. 6 years old at least and I've had writer's block since then which is a real shame. I wish sometimes that I could write more but it's just not there, ya know?

Ecstasy - A Trio of short notes from Derek Connors
Sapphire orbs in the fertile skies, crying tears of irregularity into the moon, her heart sings an eerie rythym, her ears burn with the sweet words, her mind is broken, her body scrambled like an egg, she has lost it all, where has she gone now, nobody knows, she is lost and afraid, in a hole, her senses wasted, her fingers tracing, her name.......is nature.

Sorrowful moons pass the skies on a night full of tears. Dying ears are called upon, lifeless eyes with no hope of sight. There is nothing left, the plains are barron and dead, so why are we still here? Because the one with "authority" said so, and if don't listen, then we're the bad man, so here's a thought, to hell with war, welcome back Freedom. This isn't even our country anymore.

Blood red empathy sheds her skin like scales of a fiery beast, under it all is a soft flesh, her dress is now on the floor. Even after, she is thrown to the bed, her screams are loud and loving. She screams in passion, but it's all an illusion. Her name is Lust. She doesn't really want you, she only wants herself, for her own pleasure. She will suck you dry, then break you down, for her own needs.

4 Minutes Past 11.
We've all been to the point where we've needed another person to talk to. But what happens when the world stops listening? And those you thought cared didn't? Welcome to the nightmare many face on a daily basis. Every day, suicide takes the life of thouands of innocent people because their cries for help weren't answered or listened to. We've all been to a point in our lives when we think it's the only way out. And to some, we never see it coming until it's too late. This is a story about a man who made that call.

Chapter 1: Midnight at Hand

It was getting closer to the dead of night. He couldn't sleep, as usual. All he could do was think about the one he loved, the one who had left him behind for another. It wasn't right for her to just walk away. He did nothing wrong but she would make sure that he suffered for the love he had given her. He did all he could. He tried pills, showering, and alcohol to get her off his mind so he could finally sleep, but it didn't help one bit. It only made things worse. He had nowhere to go from there. So he picked up his phone and called an old friend. They spoke for a short period of time about how he felt. It was at this point that he began to feel tired and shortly after they hung up, he fell to sleep. The next morning he felt so much better. And for a short period of time, he was happy.

Chapter 2: The Dead of Day

2 weeks passed. He had met someone else. She was the woman who sparked his interest all over again. He had all but forgotten that his once true love even so much as existed until he came home. Once he was home, he was packing his items and found an old photograph of him and his beloved exgirlfriend from ages ago. The photo had to be 6 months old. He couldn't control his tears. He spent the rest of his day in bed, in tears, because he missed her so badly. It was the worst night he'd had since 2 weeks ago. He didn't know what to do, so he tried desperatley to sleep, but with no luck. He repeated a common routine. Alcohol and pills until he passed out. When he finally woke up, he had been admitted to a hospital because he ended up overdosing on sleeping pills. He called one of his best friends and told her what happened, the same person he had called before, only this time....she didn't want to listen. She hung up on him and never answered again. The man plunged into a deep depression and spent the following days alone. He left his new girlfriend, destroyed the photographs of them together, and slept with a picture of his old girlfriend to try and feel like they were still together. And he slept in tears everything for almost a year.

Chapter 3: All Is Dead That Ends In Suffering

It had been almost a year after the man had been admitted to a hospital for overdosing on alcohol and sleeping pills. He was not the same person anymore. It was like he didn't care anymore. About himself, about his friends, about anybody but the girl he once loved. He was no longer able to control his emotions. He couldn't control anything anymore. He continuously ended up in trouble and could no longer handle life. It was becoming such a burden to live. He threw the picture of his exgirlfriend a wall. "This is your fault, you whore!" He shouted in pain as he tore the photo to bits and began to stab himself with broken glass. As he cried, he watched himself bleed as his neighbors pounded on the door frantically., trying to save him from insanity, but it was already too late. The man made his last decision. He took a piece of glass to his throat and made one clean slice across it. He bled to death and suffered no more. His exgirlfriend laid flowers on his grave with a note admitting that she still loved him, but was too afraid to tell him. She never wanted it to turn out like this, but said events could not have been stopped.

Let this be a lesson. Love is not worth killing yourself over. Somebody always cares about you, whether they show it or not. Suicide IS NOT the answer. Taking your own life for someone else IS NOT something to joke about. We all suffer, and we always will.

The world's least important loss
It was just one cold February night, like every other one of the years before, or was it? His hands were cold, he lay there motionless, resting peacefully for one in his life, he was at ease, he no longer suffered.

She was so young, so beautiful, 19 and gorgeous, from an Inuit village in Canada, her heritage was interesting, she was unlike the rest in every way, even the way she spoke seemed to be sexier then most women would, she had a really adorable accent. He quickly fell in love with her. They were together for a very long time and they were happy...........together. They seemed so perfect together, so much in common, coupled by so much different, it was a perfect mix. They loved eachother after the long relationship. It had been a while, the longest he was ever in. Sure, they split up every now and then but not for more then 2 weeks at a time, then they were right back together. And they were happy again.........together.

Life every relationship, something had to go wrong. They fought over the smallest things, insignificant and stupid things, which is why they always seemed to split up. He almost completely dropped her after he found out she cheated on him 3 times. They just couldn't keep it together. They tried but it always seemed to end just as quickly as it ended. She was always finding new ways to piss him off, just to try and get back with the ones she had been with before. He was always blamed for things he didn't do, he never lied, cheated, or hurt her. He wasn't that kind of guy. They couldn't be happy unless they were.......together.

It had been too much for him. His emotions were cold and broken. His heart had been turned to ice and his mind was shattered. He was no longer the man he used to be. He was suicidal and chaotic, self-destructive and insane. She had destroyed what he used to be and felt good about it. She knew it would end like this, because this is how she made it. There was no other way to fix it. He rested the barrel against his lips and closed them around it, his eyes were dim, closing carelessly as he wrapped his hand gently around the butt and his finger wrapped around the trigger.

3 seconds later everything was quiet, nothing but a bang and thud in a silent room that nobody dare go near. It took 3 days for them to find the body, which was accompanied by a note. It was short, sweet, to the point and very blunt. "When you see her again, tell her I love her."

(Just so you guys know, these really suck and I haven't written anything since.)

I have 2 phones. An Android and a crappy little Safelink that my mom gave me about 5 years ago so she could get ahold of me (I don't pay for cellular service every month like most people, I don't see it as a necessity.) My Android Phone's battery, depending on what apps I use and what I'm doing (looking up YouTube videos for games on my Xbox One or just browsing the internet) can last about 2 days. My Safelink phone's battery lasts about a week without being dialed even once. Longest it's lasted is about 10 days, I think. It's an older phone with no internet connection and very few functions, one of those old 12 button phones where the texting is horrible.

Well, in 2005 I played a little game called Resident Evil 4 who's main character is Leon Scott Kennedy. 2 years later, I made this username for some website (possibly MySpace or Runescape) and it's just kind of stuck. I do wanna change it some day to a new username that I've begun using.

I'm in upstate New York and it should be spring here. We just got snow here 2 days ago and it's just about cleared up now. I feel like we could get more before spring actually hits. I hope for warmer weather soon....

Saw the Forum name, had to post. If you're looking for other flavors to try then I suggest Strawberry, Cookies & Cream & Toffee. Those are some of the ones that I've tried along with Chocolate and Matcha. I tried Pocky about 6 years ago on a hunch buying it for $3-$4 a box at FYE and now I can't really find it anywhere except Wal-Mart but it's MUCH cheaper there. There really isn't a replacement to it, it's just that good.

If I had 20,000 dollars, I'd spend most of it paying off all of the debt I've managed to get myself in. Then I'd buy myself a nice computer, a new Xbox One, something really nice for my mom and a puppy because I love dogs. I'd also get something very nice for my best friend because she deserves it after putting up with my bulls*** for 5 years she really is a champion. I'd also buy something special for my wife, she's a champ for marrying me and being with me for this long. I really do love her. And I think I'd throw a couple grand to my baby sister for supporting me when I needed it the most.

I'm going to be honest here. I found Vizzed 6 and a half years ago while trying to find a way to play Donkey Kong Country 2 on my PC. At the time, I didn't own a Super Nintendo, was bored of playing games on Facebook and didn't have the money to buy a new video game console. I didn't get an Xbox 360 until early 2013 and when I joined Vizzed it was like opening up a gold mine to day long past. When I first joined, I hit up classics like The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past and Super Mario World and moved on to the aforementioned Donkey Kong Country trilogy. This site has even given me a chance to play more obscure titles like Firepower 2000, NARC and Mischief Makers; and I freaking LOVE those games. It's impossible for me to express just how much I enjoy this site with words, but let's just say that if it weren't for Vizzed; my life would be a lot less interesting.

Well, me personally? I have several addictions. I'm not addicted to anything bad, like drugs or alcohol but I do have my vices. I love my video games and junk food, I love pizza and Chinese food a bit too much but they're just sooo damn tasty I'm also addicted to video games (obviously) new and old. And I'm addicted to collecting things like Pokémon & Yugioh Cards, Funko Pop figurines and Amiibo As for video games, the consoles I have at the moment are a Super Nintendo (not the new one they just released, the classic one from way back when) an Xbox 360 Gears of War Edition minus the cool controller because it broke, and a Deep Blue Xbox One S which a military-esque Olive Drab and Orange controller; although the original controller was a nice shade of Cyan Blue. I also own lots of video games (obviously) most of which now-a-days are digitally downloaded although I do on occasion get a deal from places by ordering Pre-Owned games or cheaper copies when they go on sale. I don't think I could know a world where I wasn't a gamer, though people have tried to convince me otherwise. No thanks, I'll stick to what I know. It's much more fun that way. Why have one boring like when you could have 1,000 interesting ones?

So recently, I've come back to Vizzed to find that most; if not all Pokémon titles including Rom Hacks and fan-titles have been removed due to legal issues with Nintendo. However, I would still like to find a working Pokémon game for a Nuzlocke Challenge for a personal achievement of mine. Does anybody have any working links do a working GBA title? If so, please post below! Thanks!

I have two. Dragon & Dark. Dragons because they're mostly large and powerful with few weaknesses (until Gen 6 went and screwed that up) and take a long time to train. They're often some of the best designed Pokemon as well, giving lots of mythology light in a 21 year old franchise. Dark-type because Umbreon. When I first found out you could evolve Eevee into several different Pokemon, it was a difficult choice for me because Flareon Vaporeon and Jolteon all seemed pretty good to me and I wanted all of them, but then I moved to Generation 2 when Espeon was introduced and along with it came Umbreon. With it's beautiful design and tricky evolution requirement, it quickly became one of my favorite Pokemon.

What do I like most about Vizzed? Putting this into perspective and narrowing it down to one item is difficult since I've broken away from the site for a while twice due to the lack of a decent computer and not having good Internet, but if I had to choose I think it would be the massive amount of available support from the community. This site has so many fan titles and Rom hacks in one place, it would really be great to see this on another platform someday. I know that Steam sort of does a similar thing at the moment with their Greenlight........thing, but it's just not the same. Plus those fan titles could be deleted or go on to become DLC or pay-to-play games. This should be a welcome change some day and I hope that others see this similarly. Other things that I like about this site are the quality amount of retro titles from the NES to the Game Boy Color and all the way up to the Game Boy Advance and even so far back to the arcade era, and the AMAZING community this site has to offer. By far, the people on this site are some of the best I've had the honor of meeting in a long time.

Well, this is it folks, post #50. My birthday is this Saturday! Thank you Vizzed, for making the ending of this year a remarkable one! This week alone I've purchased 6 new games, and re-purchased 4 others! I'm up to over 30 games! (BOOYAH!!!!!) Anyways, I will be 24 on Saturday and I'd like to thank David (the owner) for making this site possible. Keep it up, Dave, I'll remember this site in February when I finally get my cash from my old bank account And I'd like to thank all of the moderators, global and local, for keeping this site in line, because without all of you, this site would fall into anarchy. That's the last thing we need anyways, I'd also like to thank all the friends I've met along the way. Without friends, who are we but a lonely soul? I love you all. And a special thanks goes out to my beautiful girlfriend Sarah (yes the ex from Canada) for keeping me alive these last 4 rough years. Keep it awesome, I love you all.

Chef Connor here with some tips on how to cook a delicious meal that no one you know will have the heart to be disappointed in! How do I do?! Three answer for that: I'm a big guy, I took culinary, AND I LOVE FOOD! So here we go!

Recipe #1: Chili Hash Dip

Don't get it confused, this has nothing to do with marijuana, though the taste may put you in a trance. This is a relatively simple yet tasty party dip and I suggest it's either eaten with strong tortilla chips or wavy lays. And here's what you will need

1 Can Chili with or without beans
1/2 to 1 can Corned Beef or Roast Beef Hash
2 ounces grated cheddar cheese
chili powder to taste

Simply combine all ingredients except cheese in a microwave safe dish and microwave on high for 3 minutes or until consistency is that of a bowl of chili with a bit of grease running off. Sprinkle cheese on top and microwave for 30-45 seconds more. Serve with chips and enjoy great for sporting events!

Recipe #2: Beef Stew

Okay kids, we all know what Beef Stew is, it's stewed beef with a gravy and lots and lots of veggies, right? Well my recipe is a little different. I've decided to kick it up a notch and use a lot of meat and spices Oddly enough, the stew itself isn't very spicy at all. It's just spicy enough to give your taste buds a good kick. And here we go

2 pounds Stewed Beef cut into half-inch cubes or chunks
2 sliced potatoes or 1 can sliced potatoes
1/2 carrot, 1/4 bag frozen corn, and 1 stalk celery or 1 can mixed veggies
1 jar of ready made beef gravy
Onion, Garlic, Pepper, Lemon Pepper and Steak Seasoning to taste

Okay folks, this is a long cooker, but a lovable recipe. Cooking times very on how big you cut the meat, but the entire recipe could take up to an hour, not counting prep work.

Graze beef until brown in a skillet with spray, butter or oil (I prefer using the fat run off and PAM spray) and add spices. Cook until slightly browner. Add mixed veggies and stir when meat is cooked thoroughly. Stir, then add your gravy and let simmer for 15 minutes or until meat is tender. Add potatoes and a tad more steak seasoning. Add pepper to taste, but make sure not to sneeze in the food. Guests frown upon that. Finally, serve it up good and enjoy it's best for a meal or a late snack, but is better warm then re-heated.

Okay folks, time is short, so I'll have to post more recipes another time. So I will only give you one more of my recipes for today and here it is

Recipe #3: Deep-Fried Raviolis

Sounds simple right? WRONG! You can never be too cautious when using oil, it's easy to get burnt and can be very dangerous. So here's what you need.

1 bag of frozen beef or cheese raviolis
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 cups bread crumbs
2 large eggs
Onion, Garlic and Lemon Pepper to taste (for bread crumb coating)

Okay kids, this one is rather simple, but prep work is a pain, you have to coat ever ravioli one by one or else they will stick together.

Mix bread crumbs with spices and stir. Crack open eggs and stir until mostly yellow. Coat each ravioli with egg and allow excess to run off before coating in bread crumbs. Heat up oil until bubbly. Add, what I like to call, a test ravioli into the oil to make sure it's hot enough. This can be done in any 4-6 quart sauce pan, but NEVER over-fill with oil. Oil should only go up to about 1/3 of the pan to prevent burns. Cook each ravioli until golden brown and lay on a paper towel to dry as oil runs off. Change paper towels if neccasary. Serve with any kind of condiment such as ketchup or wasabi, whatever ya like.

This has been cooking with Chef Connor lesson 1. I'll be back tomorrow with more fun recipes you can use to wow your parents, but please, don't blame me if you mess up!
