I've decided to make another team discussion. This time Generation 2.
Meganium, Pidgeot, Sandslash, Ampharos, Alakazam, Gyarados.
By the way, that's Heart Gold, so this does include the remakes.
One more thing, I'd like nickname suggestions for Gyarados. My other nicknames are,
Mega Man, Big Bird, Slash, Sparky, and  Houdini.
Make sure to check out my other team discussion and respond if your heart so desires. Bye.

I did this on an emulator and it did not work. Am I supposed to close the game or reset the game?

Wow. And I consider myself a Pokemon expert! This morning on my way to school, my best friend had his GBC with him (as usual), and I asked him which one of his party Pokemon knew fly. He said, 'Pidgeotto' and I mentioned that he could've taught Charizard fly. He got out HM 02 and saw that Charizard could learn fly. So thanks for letting me know. I still don't know why you say Mew isn't the best legendary.   HIS STATISTICS ARE ALL 99 (I think or it might be 999 :/). I guess you're entitled to your own opinion, and I'm entitled to mine. But hey, I learned something new about Pokemon!

   Thanks for responding!
However, this incredibly stupid thing in the 1st generation of Pokemon is....
   Charizard can't learn fly.
In the 2nd generation and on, Charizard has a flying sub-type. That's why I'm catching Articuno.
Your team sounds great! It's almost the same as my friend's team, only he has Pikachu, Charizard, Blastoise, Venasaur, Mew, and Pidgeot.
I really disagree on your opinion about Mew. How is he (she?) not very strong if his stats are extremely high at a low level?
Now that I think about it, I'm wondering if you meant to say, Yes, Mew is a Legendary, but a very strong one, or something like that.
I might change my mind about Articuno and get Pidgeot, but I don't know. Oh and one other thing; I found out that Nidorino evolves with a Moon Stone.

I've played Pokemon Yellow for about 3-4 days now, and it's great. I want to see what you think of my team, even though it's not done yet.
Pikachu (duh.), Nidorino (soon to be Nidoking), Charmeleon (soon to be Charizard), Squirtle (soon to be Blastoise), and Articuno (haven't caught yet.)
You might say that using a legendary is cheap. I don't feel like raising some other bird pokemon.
So please post your team for a suggestion on a future team. I'll even read your Red or Blue teams. Just please specify which game you're talking about. Thanks.

My opinion, this game is just pure awesome.  It's graphics are pretty cool and eerie.  Very fitting for a game in a castle.  Although, since it is an NES game, it has very few animations, like a lot of Nintendo's first games, such as The Legend of Zelda. And the bosses/enemies have cool graphics too.  Overall, I think the graphics are good, but it's an 80's system. 9/10.
The music, ah yes.  Castlevania is known for that.  Of course I didn't know that until watching a Let's Play of it.  I think I'll be humming 'Heart of Fire' and 'Out of Time' until I die.  That's how catchy those songs are.  The sound?  Pretty good, if you ask me!  If only there was more of it to hear!  10/10
Is it addictive?  Heck yeah!  Though this game is frustrating, I'd play it all day (if I had the patience)!  I would play this a million times if I could! (Not literally, but it is addictive!) Not much else to say about this topic other than IT IS ADDICTIVE. 10/10
Now, the story.... um, basically it's about a guy named Simon Belmont, who's family has a long history of vampire killing.  So Dracula, who appears every hundred years, lives in Castlevania, located in Transylvania. So Simon is "summoned" to slay the mighty Count Dracula, who is making Transylvania evil. (I might be accidentally mixing in a bit of Castlvania III but oh well.  Basically the same thing happened anyway!) So then Simon sets out on his quest, a quest to slay Count Dracula, and survive.  Pretty wicked story if you ask me.   But classic.  That's not a bad thing but still, stuff gets old, it just takes a while.  9/10
The depth?  Well, I'd like to say there isn't any!  But that wouldn't be right.  But still six levels?  Well, satisfies me.  It doesn't have a lot of choices to make, and you really in a sense, can't do things your own way.  4/10
Difficulty, well it's different for each of us. Some of us are lucky enough to actually grow up when the NES came out.  Some of us, play the Xbox all day. (Not me! I don't even own that thing!)  But of course, this determines whether or not it's hard.  8/10
So, overall, I love this game, but It hates me!  And I still haven't beaten Level 3..... yet. ~ Tangyphoenix
