I'm doing this topic for my Speech and Drama. kinda... just not how you worded it though

Real
ly...?! EVERYONE in your school only talk about sex... That would never be the meaning of life. It would be sooooo pointless!! That's probably the meaning of life for animals because they have to pass on as much of their genes as possible. Think about it, why would we be made with brain that is able to imagine all type of things just to continue the same activity day in and day out. D: If everyone only thought that was all life is about, we wouldn't have technologies, medical advancements, etc.

I guess, for me,  the meaning of life is just doing whatever I enjoy and doing good things for other people. Making the most out of everything as you only live once on Earth (unless you believe in reincarnation)

That brings up the point that different religion have different ways of teaching what life is really about so it really just depends on the person asking. You can go search up philosophy books if you are interested and maybe tell all your school mates that life doesn't revolve around reproducing. = =

I was teased for my weight. I eat a lot and even more than friends that are chubbier than me but I never seem to put on weight. This particular girl who is quite chubby and BIG would always taunt me and make fun of me in front of all my friend. What's worse, my friends wouldn't stand up for me. )= Not my fault I got genes from dad's side of the family where they are all so skinny. This girl used to also call this other girl fatty even though she was fatter herself. Also, she is a teacher's daughter so she really should know better! I wish her mum would tell her not to do that because not everyone is perfect (not even her). Now I'm very shy around people because I have low self esteem and insults affect me a lot and I don't like being disapproved by other. I think that's the more major thing I have been teased about.. So far (Trying to put on weight now ^w^)

Girls tend to do that... They would dump someone because they don't think they are good enough for them or vice versa but then after thinking about it (some people take longer than others) they usually think it was a mistake to break a long term relationship. I see that you already tried talking to her and she didn't try to make a move so I think you are safe from having to experience all the pain again. Instead of meeting her alone, you could get a bigger group to go with you so it is strictly a friend thing. Also, does she have a boyfriend right now OR had one?? If she had a boyfriend and was dumped recently, she probably came back to you and want you to comfort her which is a BIG NO NO because then you are the rebound boyfriend. By your age (sorry had to look at your age, not a stalker or anything) it is smart to be formal about all these type of things because you have to start thinking about your future. ALSO, you said she broke up with you 13 years ago?? She probably didn't want to settle then and she wanted to experience different guys and afterwards she found that you were the best husband material... I don't know. These are all guesses and we just did a whole thing about relationship in our religion lessons >.<''

ANYWAY,  you really shouldn't judge all girls just because ONE girl broke your heart D: AND hope you get this all sorted AND hope you will find the girls of your dream one day!

BEST OF LUCK!!

Yes, every single moment I'm awake. Since I'm still at school and having the best brain means everything, I always want to become one of those girls who doesn't even need to study and still gets straight A+. I wouldn't even mind if I'm one of those girls who DOES study and get A's. I study but never get A. SIGHHHH.

I noticed how everyone want to be a celebrity or some rich person, it isn't all that great to be the top of the hierarchy because they get judged by middle class people the most. Every single move they make is scrutinised. I just want to be someone else who would have a good future as a doctor or dentist.

I always procrastinate and I know that I will be in very big trouble but I just can't seem to bring myself to do any work. Right now I am on Vizzed when I'm meant to be researching about King Richard I. Sighhh the research was meant to be due on Friday and the entire assignment due on first week back of school. I hope I don't do this over the holidays as this is a big task.

Usually on the last night before the whole thing is due, I always think to myself 'WHY didn't I do this earlier, WHY do I always leave it until the last moment.'

However, unlike most of you, I don't do as well as I would like to because of this.

(This was when I studied in Asia, I'm not sure about what it used to be like here)  I remembered my brother had to learn calligraphy but when I reached that age, the school stopped teaching calligraphy. I was actually looking forward to learning this form of writing as it is regarded as art and is very pretty to look at. Now the school only taught kids how to write with lead pencils... BORING!!~~ Brushes  and ground up ink are way more awesome. And also, I don't know when, China introduced a new form of writing called SIMPLIFIED Chinese = = Oh well! All languages change, I would want to learn how to write hieroglyphic but that language is probably known only to the archaeologists. (Darn, I keep straying away from my point) OK. I do agree that since the computer has been used more widely, people's handwriting skill have begun to deteriorate . Spelling is also a problem. The reason is that the computer always auto correct or a red squiggly line appears on the misspelt word, therefore, people don't pay as much attention to spelling when they type. This becomes a problem when in class essays have to be written in 2 hour time period.

POKeMAD : You raised a good point. How can the bully be so thick D= Usually bullies pick on someone their own size or smaller.. not someone who is strong enough to lift him up and use him as weights.

So I think Casey had the right to strike back. He probably already tried ignoring him, telling someone and other stuff that usually gets rid of bullies. Also my brother told me that they interviewed the bully and he showed no regret or guilt at all. When asked if he was sorry for what he did to Casey, he just made an annoying bratty smile....(silence for a few seconds) then said sorry but you could tell he DID NOT mean it at all. OH! and he has a rat tail hairstyle - which primary school kid grows a rat tail = = Casey probably also did him a favour, warning him that if he picked on someone who is bigger than him, he will be crushed or in the future most probably shot.

(Googled the zangief kid - there is a game made about him)

I remember cheating on a science test in year 9. My friend and I made a deal that we would sit at the back of the class close to each other and if she didn't know an answer to the question, she will point at it and I will write it down on a piece of paper for her. Thinking back, we were actually really bad at cheating because I would whisper really loudly to her the answer or chuck a piece of paper at her and miss. Of course, I helped her more than she helped me because I actually studied for the exam. (don't know why I agreed to help her) Only after class did I realise that there was a student teacher sitting behind us watching the whole thing. She shook her head in disapproval but I don't think she ever told the teacher on us. After that close call, I never cheated. There is no point and also it is too hard to cheat now because none of the exams is done in a classroom but instead in VPAC where our every move is watched carefully.

We got a new principal just last year. As my friend said and I completely agree with her, 'it is as if the new principal read through the whole front section of the diary setting out the rules' Even though the old principal was a hard core feminist, she at least cared about the things that actually mattered in life, like money, education and how women nowadays can do EVERYTHING *cough cough* I'm not against that, women should aim high now and not be restricted but she just took it too far.
Anyway the new principal, gah, she enforced the rule of wearing badges... What the heck!! Tiny school and house badge on the uniform which everyone change EVERY day which means we have to take the badge off and put it on another dress every morning. sighh. If we don't wear those badges, we get warning slip and 3 warning slips amount to a detention Also we need to tie ribbons in our hair and it has to be bottle green ribbon, not light green or lime green or any other green, ONLY bottle green ribbon. Ok I finished ranting about my school principal. I guess she isn't THAT bad. She should just care more about the academic side of the school not how we represent ourself to the public.

I don't swear and when something happens to me that I feel strongly against, I swear in my head. I was brought up that way, I swore once and got a long lecture from my parents saying that girls swearing is vulgar and no boys will like that. blah blah = =

However, now I can think for myself, I actually do agree with them. I don't really like how one of my friend throw the F word around so much... There are so many other ways in the English language to express yourself. Also if you want to swear at someone, wouldn't you try to use very complicated words so that the person won't understand what you are saying?

It's so cool how so many people's hair change colour over the years. Because I'm Asian my hair is black but it has that tinge of brown for some reason... never dyed my hair before.

I usually ask my friend to help me out with the problem. I've never been physically bullied but I have been verbally bullied. The random guy would just start swearing at me and calling me names =.= and because I don't swear and I don't really want to stoop down to his level I just asked my friend who is very smart and good with words to annoy him back. Also, bullies don't usually have that many friends and the victims do because they are nice people so that evens the odd. Ignoring them or asking help is always the way to go. There is a reason they pick on you (because you are weaker) so fighting back is pointless unless you go and take steroids or fighting classes or swearing classes(if those even exist). Overall, I would fight back but I would think of a plan to ensure that I win. =D

I really like all the pets I have ever owned so you can imagine how devastated I was when the priest informed me that animals do not go to heaven. T.T He did continue and say that people get whatever they wish for in heaven so if I wished for all my pets to be with me, it should work. C= Be positive. Also, I just try and own as many pets now as I can, just in case my plans don't work.

BUT the garden of Eden was a heaven on Earth and there was animals. Why would the heaven be any different.

No questions about that. There has to be other life forms! Even if they are tiny amoeba. I was watching a documentary about the universe and it said Mars and Venus were failed Earth so for a short amount of time they could have turned out to be exactly like Earth. That means there has to be other galaxies with a planet in the exact right distance from the sun to hold life! All my friends look at me weirdly when I say there has to be life out there and they would ask 'why don't they visit us then'. Well there are so many reasons: they might be advanced enough BUT do not care about inferior planets, they might be just a starting race or they have visited Earth but it is kept a secret. Who knows. (I thrive on conspiracies. haha)

The news over where I live is horrible too D: It is always about some miracle diet some random person no one ever heard of found or about single mothers trying to save big bucks on their grocery shopping and how everyone can do it if they buy the home sucky brand. Not to mention the celebrities news, that is what TMZ is for. I guess people nowadays only care about celebrities misfortune and how to look the best. Another reason news have stooped down to the level of reporting about gossip may be because they want to attract younger viewers. Also, mostly everyone uses the internet to check out the news now so the only choice the news channel have is to broadcast topics the mass would like, not topics the selected sophisticated few like.

Also, mostly everyone uses the internet to check out the news now so the only choice the news channel have is to broadcast topics the mass would like, not topics the selected sophisticated few like.

Illegal but with exceptions. In Queensland, it is illegal and I hope they keep it that way. People from my class had to do a whole Legal assignment about it but I didn't choose that topic, it is way to touchy. As many people in the previous post said, it should be allowed for mothers who may be in danger if they carry out the birth or if they was raped. However, the abortion shouldn't be done after 3 weeks (My friend said that the baby has a heart by about 3 week) because that would be a life the doctor is taking by then. On another note, it is also very unfair how the woman gets pregnant and have to make all these difficult decisions while the man is just free to leave, WHICH in many cases they do. Then there is the stupid couples who don't use protection or the protection failed and they HAVE to get an abortion because they can't afford to raise another child. (Sheesh! There is better stuff to do other than have *** SUCH AS spending their whole day posting comments on Vizzed) All in all, people have to take responsibility with what they have done and if it come down to killing a life... so be it BUT we anti-abortion people will be judging their every move.

I go to a private school since year 8 and I'm now in year 12. There are good and bad things about private school but there are also pros and cons to any schools. I'm actually very grateful my parents sent me to a private school. We have longer holidays (we do have longer hours of school though). The people in private school are more respectful of the teachers and never become violent. Someone said something about not liking uniform... I think that uniforms are a good thing as I don't have to wake up at 6, and choose a different type of outfit each day, always knowing I will be judged by everyone at school. The education is also of very high standard. We have an OP system that rely on the whole school doing really well in QCS and since people who go to private school usually care a lot about their education, they would pull up the marks of students who don't really care about school. On top of that, the state school in the place i live isn't that good because there are always kids who disrupt the class constantly and I see them wagging in shops and at the cinemas all the time.

(I'm saying the state school kids from where I live so anyone who goes to state school, I'm not insulting you guys. You all seem very nice and smart)

thenumberone : Recently we had to learn this in biology =.='' Women can now have babies without men. Something about making the egg into a sperm. (usually for lesbian couples) I zoned out in those lessons so I don't know the details D= Feel free to search it up.

Girls are better than boys because we are better at multitasking. ^w^

I'm new to this site too so I'm afraid I can't help with your problem. I thought I would reply to your post because of the question in the thread title.
I really like Harvest Moon too! My friend gave me a N64 rom and gave me a bunch of game but I only liked Harvest Moon. Dunno how feeding chicken and milking cows can become that amusing but it got me addicted.I also introduced the game to my brothers and they now stay up late playing the game. The first time I played, I found out about the cheats and I made all the girls fall in love with me. Had to choose which girl to save. (Fail)
Is the Harvest Moon SNES the newer one?? I googled it, the graphic seems better. I shall go and find it on the site and try play it to see if it works. Will get back to you on that.
