This game is amazing in almost every aspect except Eevees. My team consists of pretty much every useful type except electric. I was saving an Eevee to evolve into a Jolteon later in the game. I got through electric cave and found a thunderstone, imagine my joy, then when I tried to use it on Eevee it didnt work :/ I know that my Eevee can evolve due to me finding out the moon stone will evolve Eevee into an Umbreon. Now for my question, can Eevee not evolve into a jolteon or is there some other way? Also do the other stones work on Eevee? And is Leafeon/Glaceon obtainable here? This could be considered a help and an info post as I will try to find out myself if no one else knows. And if you do know thanks in advance for helping me with my problem ![]() *EDIT* Leafeon is obtainable by using a Leaf Stone. My team consists of pretty much every useful type except electric. @thenyanmario Thanks ![]() @thenumberone Yeah I need to revise it a little bit. Thanks for the criticism! Sorry for the long delay ![]() But here it is a continuation of Chapter one! I stumbled over to one of the cubicles and began to feel around the desk, inside the drawer I found only papers and staples; I searched for a couple minutes until I found what I was looking for, a flashlight! I clicked the button but it didn't turn on. “Goddammit.” I muttered. “How come nothing works when you need them to?!” I struck the light on the desk and it emitted a brilliant white light on the side of the cubicle. “Whoa surprised me.” I laughed at my good fortune. I looked to where the light was shining, it lit up a laminated sign reading: “In case of emergency call 1-800-675-1900.” Hm, can't hurt. I thought. I picked up the receiver and was surprised at a dial tone, I guess just the lights are out but not power... wait how does that make sense? Ugh, I dialed the number and it went straight to a recorded voice saying: “I'm sorry your call cannot be completed as dialed, please hang up and try again.” Oh well, I thought. It was worth a shot and I am not trying it again woman! Only thing left to do is to try to find my way out. I shone the light around the offices and saw nothing of interest except for a sign on the wall pointing towards a hallway which read “Front Entrance, Cafeteria, Break Room.” I followed the sign and headed down a hallway lighted by skylights like the other hall; I was halfway down, in sight where the hall split, one going left to the Front Entrance and the other going to the Break room and Cafeteria, when I heard shuffling coming from the direction of the Cafeteria. I froze in fear almost certain what was following me had found me somehow; I waited for a couple minutes and still heard it bumping and colliding with either the floor or the wall, I smelled a foul stink. After getting used to the sound I started to sneak over, my heart pounding in my chest, not sure why I was so scared but certain I should be, I poked my head around the corner and saw nothing nor did I hear the shuffling sounds. I relaxed immediately and was about to turn around when I saw a padlock on a door further down the hall; I went over and the foul smell got worse and worse until I stood outside the door and looked inside, curious as to why it was locked in such a manner, I gasped and backed up and subsequently fell right on my ass shocked in horror and disgust at what I had just seen. Inside the door marked Break Room were dozens of mangled corpses all strewn about with entrails coating the floors; I got back up and looked inside once more. Blood seemed to coat the whole room, but it had a green tint to it; I saw a coffee cup still clutched in one of their hands. The door was like a gym or auditorium door where you have to push them in and I tried to do so for god knows what reason, it was padlocked of course it wouldn't open; I heard a thump at the bottom of the door and I nearly jumped out of my skin. I tentatively looked down inside the room and saw one of the corpses staring back at me with cold hard eyes. The left eye had been gouged out and it hung limply on it's cheek connected by only the optic nerve; the lower half of it's body was ripped off, it's innards trailing behind it. When it saw me it began pounding on the door with its hand although its hand was just a stump where it had been pounding for an expansive amount of time. I backed up again and dry heaved then unloaded my lunch, I think it's lunch of course it could well have been dinner or breakfast for all I remember, all over the linoleum. I heard other thumps coming from the room; all of the other corpses got up and began to shamble over to the door and they pounded on it in unison. Then the moans began to start up it sounded like death incarnate; I ran as fast as I could towards the exit. The entrance, my exit, seemed miles away; I ran so hard and fast that I didn't see the piece of fallen ceiling ahead of me until it was too late and I went sprawling head over heels and struck my head on the floor passing out. I saw visions of bombs falling over top of lush farms and the President giving a speech looking very distressed; I saw riots and the military firing their guns on a crowd. People were raising flags and getting shot down all frantically trying to keep the flag from touching the ground; other more horrible things I will not write down because I refuse to relive them again. The last thing I saw was that corpse staring at me with those crazy, voracious eyes. Eyes of a predator. ![]() @thenumberone Yeah I need to revise it a little bit. Thanks for the criticism! Why Is everyone talking about me? XD jk,jk.
But I liked the Shadow and Spirit Temple, anything after the Water Temple seemed like a cakewalk, I liked the macabre setting of the shadow temple and the kid part of the Spirit Temple was really fun. Twinrova was the best boss fight and those Knights, so much fun to strike them and hop back while they do their clunky, slow chops and slices. Then it's a tie for the Fire and Forest Temple then at the very bottom is the water temple, ugh so annoying having to get killed by Link all the time. @Guiseppe11Theres a saying that goes: "History repeats itself." If this is true we need to know how to deal with a past problem as quickly as possible and not be flustered by it like we were the first time. What I'm saying is that we need to remember and learn history so we won't make the same mistakes over and over again. We need to make sure kids know about the past so they can make a better tomorrow. Although I may think this because I've always enjoyed History. US History, World History, hell I even enjoyed Civics and Economics which dealt with the history of the constitution, Dec. of Independence, Supreme Court Decisions etc. But everyone is entitled to their own opinion. But like it or not History is here to stay and be mandatory for all students.
Sorry got off topic but my most hated subject is math, I'm alright in it but I don't like the exactness of it. I like ambiguity that's why I love English so much every thing you read is open to countless interpretations. I also hate remembering formulas but I can do it, unwillingly of course. @ StevenLanders I liked Bando too even if I didn't like the way he acted. In the Manga Bando actually saves Mayu from Lucy, and gets cut in half, but in the anime hes just an ass XD

Matter can easily go faster than the speed of light, providing it is propelled with enough force. If we are to believe the Big Bang theory it says that the universe was a point of infinite mass and density until it blew up, shall we say, now there is also a theory that there is matter beyond where light hasn't reached yet in the far outreaches of the universe. Now how can this happen if light went out in all directions from the center of the universe? The force of the Big Bang was so powerful that it propelled matter faster than the speed of light. Under normal circumstances nothing can go faster than the speed of light but the Big Bang and particle accelerators are not normal circumstances. Oh and random piece of trivia did you know that if you are in a train that is going 99.9 percent the speed of light time will slow down inside that train, train of course being a metaphor for an atom. This is because if you ran forward the speed of the train combined with your speed would go faster than the speed of light. This cannot happen, or usually cannot happen, so time gets distorted so that nothing can exceed 299,792,458 meters per second. Thus if you did go on this train for a week it would be like 100 years or so. You would have only aged a week but Earth would have aged 100 years. So time travel is possible but only forward in time. |

So, who here has seen the anime and what are your thoughts on it? I thought this was one of the best animes I've ever seen. The violence was a little bit too excessive, but not too much so, but I felt sooo sad for Lucy, how she was treated when she was a kid. It shows how peoples xenophobia can lash back at them and how peoples cruelty can horribly alter a persons personality. And the music box, oh that melody has me tearing up as I type. And the ending made me cry more than any other event in my life; I'm a guy and I never cry, I've cried like 6 or 7 times in my life and this is one of those times. The series had me so enthralled I watched all 13 episodes in one night. If you haven't seen this, or read the manga, you need to watch or read it right now! ![]() ![]() |

I love Marble Hornets dedication, I mean not uploading anything for seven months to keep with the idea that it's happening at the same time it was uploaded and man it kept me watching continuously from Entry #1 all the way to their latest entry #50. This is a very professionally done creepypasta and I CANNOT wait for Entry #51. I almost jumped out of my skin when Jay was in Alex's house and the masked man attacked him. I thank you very much for telling me about this. |

Ok, to begin with this story is a couple years in the making, I've been writing prototype stories since 6th grade so getting around six years now; I would never show ANYONE those first couple of stories for they are awful. I decided on zombies because they are entertaining and you can cleverly hide issues with the real world inside the stories; one of the first real stories I've written was a story about a boy who finds a sword in the forest, like that hasn't been done before :p, but it transports him into a void where he gets the crap kicked out of him, but for a purpose. Oh and each person had an element associated with him/her like if their element was water they could shoot water out of their hands at such a velocity it would cut right through someone and what determined their element was their eye color. So if you had blue it would equal water, yellow=lightning, green=wind, red=fire, black=power of darkness, brown=earth. And I was thinking about having people with heterochromia that could control two elements. But I never went anywhere with it though, I think it was because I tried to write it linearly and I became bored with the character but with this story I've been writing about four characters alternating between the four. Writing it like this will hopefully lengthen my time of interest. And without further ado I present you with the first character Kyle Thatcher.
Chapter One Kyle Thatcher Kyle ran down the dimly lit corridor, lit by small skylights on the ceiling, running for his life. He didn't know what was following him but he knew it was something terrible something that could take his life. He heard it's steps and could swear he felt it's breath on him; he rounded a corner and rounded another one, he sprinted down a long hallway and took a right into a smaller hall that ended in office space. Kyle dared to take a look back and he saw nothing. He stopped for a breather by some vending machines serving nutter butters and cheetos; he couldn't hear any thunderous footsteps stalking him anymore so he asked himself: “how had he gotten here?” He could not remember; the place around him looked like offices, it was pitch black except for the soft glow of the vending machines. He massaged in between his eyes and tried to remember who, or what, he had been running from and where he was. Well, let's go over the basics, maybe that'll jog my memory. It's 2011, my name is Kyle Thatcher, I am 25 years old, my birthday is August 15th, I work at home as a writer, I'm single, my mom's name is Catherine S. Thatcher, dad's name is Robert E. Thatcher and they've been married for 27 years. Damn. Still don't remember anything. Hm, might as well search around for answers. I thought. Very good opinions everyone, yeah I'm a very fickle person so it's hard for me to stick to one thing and one thing only. I suppose whatever works for you works for you am I right? But I'd have to say my beliefs put me closest to Buddhism than any other religion. AND ALL THESE NAMES DOWN HERE ARE REPLIES NOT QUOTES SORRY IF IT SEEMS LIKE QUOTES IT'S NOT. I WILL ADD @ TO ALL OF THEM TO MAKE SURE EVERYONE SEES ITS A REPLY.
@Elara : Yeah and you get presents for Christmas who can resist XD @geeogree : I see what you mean everything had to come from somewhere and most of the time there is some truth at the bottom of it all underneath the tangles of human tweaking . @tRIUNE : Yeah well whatever works for people they should do right? My parents were never strict about church or forcing beliefs on me, they allowed me to find my own path; so I think that's why I like to pick and choose now and not be rigidly set on one religion. @Hoochman : Well whatever you believe is what you believe and Faith is a good thing to have especially during dark times of your life. Not trying to sound sappy but doing horribly at it. @Annette : I like the idea of Paganism because it allows more choice and freedom. Also I love nature. And I love mythology and, correct me if I'm wrong, Paganism was abundant when people were writing down these folklore and I'm sure Myths borrowed from Paganism or other religions like it. That's all I have to say and thanks for all the feedback! Not trying to sound sappy but doing horribly at it. @Annette : I like the idea of Paganism because it allows more choice and freedom. Also I love nature. And I love mythology and, correct me if I'm wrong, Paganism was abundant when people were writing down these folklore and I'm sure Myths borrowed from Paganism or other religions like it. That's all I have to say and thanks for all the feedback! |

Do you all think that it's alright to not stick to all the beliefs of one religion but pick and choose different beliefs from multiple religions? Like I pick things that make the most sense to me like reincarnation but I don't believe in Nirvana. I also believe in Evolution, not religious but still a belief, which I think mirrors reincarnation. But I still celebrate Christmas, also Easter, even though I'm not Christian. I want to get your thoughts on an atheist that picks some religious beliefs but not others, even if they are a part of the same doctrine. |

There was a program they had in 6th grade where you would take a bunch of electives, electives are classes that are not associated with Math, Science, English, or History e.g. Spanish, Choir, etc., and when I took Choir it was alright but it wasn't my kind of thing, I can hold a tune rather well but all other aspects of my singing are just awful XD |
