I spell check every once in a while. I don't it all the time, because sometimes I don't need to. |

In October of 1985, The NES was released in the USA. After the Video Game Crash of 1983, Nintendo resurrected Video Games in America. One of the games that came with every NES when it was released was Super Mario Bros. Super Mario Bros became one of the most popular video game franchises in history. So, let's enter the Mushroom Kingdom, defeat Bowser, and save Princess Peach! Graphics, 9/10: Considering this is the first NES game, and it's 1985, it's really good. Mario looks really good, Luigi is the same as Mario, but the colors are changed. While playing, you may notice small thing like the clouds and bushes are the same, just different colors. The enemies, such as Gombas, Koopa Troopa, Hammer Bros, and Bowser, look mean. The Worlds also change appearances. World 1-1 is sunny, World 1-2 is underground, where it's dark, World 1-3 is a lot of giant mushrooms, World 1-4 is in Bowser's Castle, and there's also a few underwater levels, where everything is, well, underwater. The graphics, or sprites, are very memorable. When Mario breaks a block, it shatters into pieces, or hits a mystery block, and you see the power-up come out, it's all very nice for the NES. Sound, 10/10: The sounds in this game are among the most memorable in video game history. The Mario theme is one of the best songs in video game history. The music is awesome, and it's still good to this day. The sounds affects are awesome as well, from when Mario jumps, to when you stomp on a Gomba. Sound is perfect for an NES game. Addictiveness, 8/10: This is a game that you'll most likely come back to. It's fun, and it's addictive. When it comes to replay-ability, there's not that much, but there's a lot at the same time. You can replay the levels and try to find all the secrets, or just try to find short cuts to beat the game faster. You can also find some glitches, and the famous 1up glitch, or the infamous World -1 glitch. Story, 8/10: The Backstory is this: the Mushroom Kingdom was invaded by the Koopas. Bowser kidnaps Peach, and Mario hears of the princess's plight, and sets out on a quest to defeat Bowser, and save the once-peaceful kingdom. The koopas are capable of turing the mushroom people into bricks, clouds, and other inanimate objects. You really wouldn't know the story if you are playing it, but that's the story. Depth, 8/10: This game has 8 worlds, each with 4 stages. From 1-1 to 8-4. There are some warp zones which you can use to skip to worlds, as well as some short cuts. Every 4th stage you have to go through a castle, fight Bowser, and save the Princess. But on Worlds 1-7, it's a fake Bowser, and the Princess isn't there, but Toad is there. When you get to world 8-4, you go through the final castle, defeat Bowser, and finally save Princess Peach. There's a good amount of depth, especially for a NES game. The power-ups are a Red mushroom, which makes Mario stronger, and allows him to take 2 hits, instead of 1. A Green Mushroom, which gives you an extra life. A flower, which gives Mario a special suit, which allows him to shoot fireballs, and finally, a invincibility star, which makes Mario invincible for about 10 seconds, and he automatically kills every enemy he touches. Difficulty, 6: This game gets harder as you progress. The enemies kill you in one hit, unless you have the mushroom, you can take two. Every 4th stage, you go through a castle (I've already said this) where there's a sting of fire which can be easy, or hard to avoid. You start with 3 lives, and there's a time limit which can be either 200, or 300 seconds (there not really seconds, there sped up). To defeat Bowser, you have to jump over him, and get the axe, which destroys the bridge he's standing on causing Bowser to fall into the lava. What makes the difficult is you have to avoid the hammers he throws. The difficulty shouldn't be that bad if you're good at the game. OVERALL, 10/10: Super Mario Bros. is one of the best games ever made. It sold 40 million copies, which was a record for about 30 years until it was broken by Wii Sports, which has 86 million. Overall Super Mario Bros. gets a 10/10. Graphics, 9/10: Considering this is the first NES game, and it's 1985, it's really good. To be honest, I really didn't know where "Best" came from. I was thinking of a username for Vizzed, and Best came up. I thought it was too short, so I added Gamer, and my favorite number, 24. |

Hi everyone! Today we're going to be reviewing WWF Wrestlemania 2000 for the Nintendo 64. I actually love Wrestling, and I know quite a lot about it. This is one of the best Wrestling games ever made, so with that being said let's go inside the squared circle. Graphics, 8: This game looks really good for the N64. The crowd looks like cardboard, but the focus went into the arena, and the wrestlers themselves. The hair kind of looks bad. The ring itself looks good, as well as the stage. The ring's ropes look like they are paper thin, but they do have animation. The referee is just a picture that comes on screen during a pin, submission or a rope break. The ref does have some animation. The titantron (or video) for the wrestlers is just about 10 pictures, instead of a video, which is understandable because of the N64's memory limit. The Pyro's (fireworks) during some of the entrances look good as well. The top of the area is just darkness, and the crowd are just pictures, but it's nothing to serious. There's even Blood! It looks good too. Sound, 9: This game has some awesome music. Especially during a match. There's about 5 songs total that play during matches. Also when there's a submission when a wrestler's spirit meter says "DANGER", there's some bone crunching noises and the wrestler saying "OW!". The mat sounds good, when the crowd cheers/boos it sound good as well. When the ref says "1,2,3! 3 Count Fall!" It sounds alright. The Wrestlers' themes in this game sound okay, but most songs are a 10 second loop. Also, the crowd can say "1,2,3" along with the ref. There are also kicking/punching noises that play when a wrestler hits their opponent. Addictiveness, 8: This game is very fun, and you can get addicted to it. There's multiple matches, and a career mode, both of which you could get addicted to. There's really not that much to say when it comes to how addictive this game is. It's just really fun, and that's what makes this game awesome. Story, 6: Since this is a wrestling game, there's not that much story, unless you play career mode. In career mode, you create a wrestler, and work your way up the ladder. You start as a jobber, who has small matches, wrestling the smaller guys. AS you work your way up, you start wrestling the bigger guys, and eventually you'll start having championship matches at the PPV's. At Wrestlemania, you can become champion, and if you win all the belts, you become the Ultimate Champion! Depth, 8: There's a lot to do in this game. There's Exhibition mode, which is just where you play matches, Career mode, PPV mode, and there's Edit and Create a wrestler. The edit a wrestler is just editing a wrestler's moves, video, and music. Create a wrestler is pretty good for the N64. The gameplay is awesome as well. The striking is really good, as well as the grappling is advanced, as there are many grappling moves(which was improved from WCW/NWO World Tour) , which really set this game apart from the other WWF games at the time. There's a total of 58 superstars, 50 men, and 8 divas. There are more you can unlock, and about 20 you can create. Each superstar/diva has 4 attires, which was really cool at the time. So, for example, if you have Kane versus Kane, they will both be wearing different attires, so you can tell them apart. This game also has a spirit meter. The spirit meter shows you how much momentum you have. It gets bigger every move you do, if you do the same move, it shrinks. If you use different moves, it grows. If it's blue, you're in danger, if it's red, it'll say SPECIAL! Which means you can preform your finisher. You're finisher basically finishes the match. Speaking of matches, the One on One, Tag Team, Handicap, steel cage, Tournaments and more. Difficulty, 5: In this game you can change difficulty. There's easy, medium, and hard. Easy is, well, easy. Medium is for the average player. Hard is for the experienced player. This isn't too hard, or too easy, if you set it at the right difficulty. Career also get harder as you go. OVERALL, 9: WWF Wrestlemania is an awesome Wrestling game. If you like wrestling, of the WWE, this game is for you. With that being said, this game gets a 9 out of 10. I actually love Wrestling, and I know quite a lot about it. This is one of the best Wrestling games ever made, so with that being said let's go inside the squared circle.
