Brigand : I'm semi-confused, I think you're mixing up FFXII with FFXI, cause Final Fantasy 11 was the first MMO, then Final Fantasy 12 was single player story based.

That correctional sub-conversation could take forever, so i'll just skip to the subject at hand!

I haven't RP'd in quite awhile, but I do recall that every group/site that I had ever been apart of, people who tried to God-Mode, or Power Play in their posts were usually quietly warned in PM to fix their post, or have it removed and they'd be suspended for forcing an entire topic to shut down.

So I hold very firm on the stance of giving everyone a fair chance in role plays, everything has a circumstance and if there is a realistic way for someone to logically get out of something? By all means, role play it out and progress the story forwards.

I had the unfortunate circumstance of far back in my days being apart of a Star Wars role playing site, we really all were quite good, most of our singular posts were long enough to be the page of a novel, but my character was twins with another users evil character, turns out we were both evil in the end.. But no matter what i'd do, I could fashion up the best responses for combat scenarios in duels and he'd still come out on top, it wasn't because he was better... He just literally pulled out every cheap trick and snuffable offense a role player could!

And what was worse is he was friends with the owner and apart of the staff, so of COURSE he got away with all the crap that others had perished for, needless to say I left the site.

I believe it was MGS4, it wasn't the game itself cause that was fairly easy, but I had to do the no-kill/no-alert and man that was a pain on how many times I had to start segments over just because I made a careless move, or something happened that I hadn't anticipated.

"Your move...Creep."  - Robocop

Probably one of my top quotes of all time, right up there with a ton of the Big Lebowski's quotes.

In my opinion FFX was the pinnacle of the series, I know a lot of people love and hype the 7th game to no end, I even know a few who loved the 8th generation, to which I agree that both games were great and those before them, but 10 for me is where it really hit home.

I never really got to be apart of the first FF MMO and that makes me slightly sad cause I hear it still slightly has a player base that can self sustain the mmo for as long as they want, I pretend X-2 never happened, I did however enjoy XII, but then the travesty (my opinion) came out known as FFXIII, then all of her spin-off sequels to follow.

I'll be quite pleased when they stop reintroducing Lightning and her bunch back into the FF universe, the only one I even remotely had connection to was Snow, other than a few of the more minor characters the whole lot of them were just a bunch of terribly written characters, on the extreme ends of the arch-type spectrum.

I am excited to see where the new games will take us however, I know the game play fundamentals seem to be changing or evolving as it were and as long as they do the mechanics justice and the story is sound? I think I could flow with the tides of change.

Uhm, i'd have to go with Kirby, like everyone else said, you can pretty much eat anyone and gain their powers, so I could become Samus at a later time if I so choose.

Kirby is to the gaming world, what Super Man is to the DC comic world, extremely God-tier and almost unbeatable by any and everyone.

I'm with most of the other people here, I try to do my first play through without any outside help, then once I go back over in either a NG+, or just a fresh start in general, i'll start whipping out the guides and finding all those precious little gems that I may have missed somewhere off in a tight little corner.

However, i'm usually fairly good about checking everything before proceeding to the next room, or opening that next door, it was something my older brother drilled into my head as a kid, I would always run through things and he'd either get frustrated, or i'd watch him at a different sitting and see him with stuff I didn't have around the same time of progress, so now it's sort of an instinct.

I could do worse?

As brilliant as Levine is, i'm still not quite sure I agree with the boardrooms decision to shut down the entire studio, if he wanted to move along so badly and create indie titles, why didn't he just branch off and do his own thing and let someone step up to take his place.

Instead he forced his entire working staff to find new studios, which grateful as they may be that other studios instantly started trying to place everyone that had lost their jobs, not everyone will be able to find a new place to dwell in.

I think that's the most frustrating part for me was the lack of empathy for his ex-coworkers.

My perfect burger actually game from a place called King Burger around the Seattle, WA area.

The place is one of those family owned 50s restaurants that have stood the test of time from generation to generation.

The family just knows how to make a good burger, I usually load mine up with stuff, but I did get a plain one once and it stood the tried and true test of quality meat, beautiful stuff.

Their milk shakes were pretty good too, but the burger and fries were simply amazing.

I've never been a fan of Toad, he just serves no purpose to me, so I dunno...  I guess i'd put him at the top of the list.

I'd have to go with Atlantis being my top world to explore, Vinny is one of my favorite Disney characters of all time, plus it just has so much room for exploration, my heart would probably explode from excitement.

Oooh man, this is awesome! I started a twitch awhile ago but hadn't really utilized it yet.

http://www.twitch.tv/highlandshield

So this is where I shall play my nostalgic goodness.

Streaming Schedule Mon-Sun 'All week long retro marathons.'

I wish I could be more specific on times, but until my job kicks in and I get a good idea of times, it'll just have to be something users check into regularly, cause i'm going to attempt streaming games for at least 3-4 hours a day.

(I'd try hyperlinking, but from the preview to actual post, doesn't seem to work.)
